Vacation rentals with a patio in Appalachian Mountains

This is a charming studio apartment on the bottom floor of a house. We had our own porch and entrance was easy with the electronic keypad. The place itself is an a very good location just a minute walk from the main street of Beacon. Andrea was kind enough to let us check out a little late which helped us with our travel plans. Recommended.

Loved staying here! The place was super clean and the views of downtown were amazing. It’s in a great spot — I could walk to pretty much everything I needed. The host was really easy to talk to and made everything super smooth. I’d definitely come back if I’m ever in Montreal again! Thank you Thomas.

Jason and Crystal were great hosts. Their place was beautiful and we fell in love. Easy beach access nearby. We rented a car just to visit other places that were not walkable, which was beneficial. They provided beach towels, chairs and umbrella which we had the pleasure to use everyday. Their place is very cozy, makes you feel right at home. Everything was smooth with check in and they were great resources for the surrounding area and were able to give recommendations on restaurants, beaches, bars and nearby shops. Can’t wait to visit again, will definitely look for their listing. Also, for those visiting, don’t get discouraged by the weather. It stated rain all week for our trip and we seen small amount of rain. Made it to the beach 3 out of 4 days! Thanks for the great accommodations. Jen and Frank.

This was my second stay here- just as peaceful, clean and comfortable as the first! Spacious “in-law” quarters with all the necessities and a nice touch of extras like a stocked coffee station with Keurig brewer, countertop convection/air fryer oven, and electric fireplace. The apartment’s cleanliness and neatness is a standout. Great communicaton from the host as well.

Modern, beautifully decorated unit with great privacy. Views are amazing, so wide, expansive and peaceful. You can watch sunrise and sunset from the balcony! You can see people passing on the side street in their horse and buggies. The outdoor seats are very comfortable. The bed is comfortable too. Matt is a phenomenal host, his response time is super quick, he is very helpful and accommodating.

A perfect little apartment in a perfect 300 year-old stone house. Privacy. Serenity. Calm beauty. Accommodating host. Every uptown Kingston attraction and restaurant within a few minutes walk. Easy parking. A good night's sleep. Can't say that it's clutter-free, but who cares, it's really charming and that bathroom is SO relaxing with both a giant rain shower and old fashioned tub. Perfect.

Wonderful place that was very close to Broadway! The apartment was right by the elevators so very convenient, but not noisy at all. Parking was super close to the lobby doors as well. Everything was super clean and she had just about everything you could think of in the kitchen and bathroom in case you needed anything. Lindsey was very nice and made sure to even reach out to let us know that the cleaners finished early if we wanted to check in early. Overall, I would definitely stay here again if we decide to come back down!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Denise's Place. Check in was simple and she gave us easy to follow alternative direction to her place. It is an oasis on top of a hill! Her lovely home is situated on a beautifully maintained piece of property that is serene and welcoming. The inside is immaculate and inviting and we were even pleasantly surprised with a local homemade treat along with a lovely personal note. We truly felt welcomed and I highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

This is probably one of the nicest Airbnb’s in the Pocono mountains! Dawn is an excellent host and is very communicative! Check in was a breeze, the house was cozy and the views from the deck was just stunning! We loved our stay here and hope to come back again!

Overall we very much enjoyed modern rural space. Kiss the Cow farm about 5min drive was amazing& we got most all main food there w/ additional items from Barnard General Store. Spices/ cookware were very good - we brought nonstick pans& 1 knife to supplement. Plenty bowls, measuring cups/spoons, maybe a set of tom collins glasses would be nice albeit stemless wine and rocks glasses available. Needs garlic/onion powder. Tub was amazing/ upstairs bathroom a true getaway/ relaxing space. It was as pictured albeit note spiral staircase &open grated flooring upstairs. Plenty of windows albeit not much cross breeze so think ahead if bring own fan and/or start A/C before get too warm. I would say you must have an SUV year round for this rental - surrounding roads/ driveway are a good distance on rough dirt/gravel - traversable yet a sportier car with low profile tires/ ground clearance would not work. We enjoyed simply walking driveway& East Barnard Rd. Barnard Inn restaurant worth it.

It is a five (5) star hotel with fully equipped home away home Airbnb! We’ve been to different Airbnb’s around the world, experience at this beautiful Bridge Covered Cottage is one of our bests! We’ve enjoyed every minute of the staying/visiting in Lancaster PA. We appreciate your thoughtful hospitality. Our families and friends will definitely hear about our good stories at this beautiful and unique cottage.

Our stay was so relaxing. The house is very comfortable and we felt at home right away. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The sauna is absolutely magical and the lake was quiet and peaceful. Check in/out was a breeze. Perfect spot for a relaxing long weekend with zero stress.

Beautiful property in the best location in Catskills region. Whoever did interior design deserves an award. Definitely recommend and would come back again myself!

We had a lovely stay at Braden’s place. The home was a perfect gateway for 2 people. Big plus for having plenty of firewood for the guests to use. The home was clean & had all the amenities for a great relaxing stay.

The Jefferson House was a wonderful place to visit for a quick night away. It looks exactly like the pictures with many thoughtful touches throughout the home. Clean, comfy, a home away from home. Quiet but a quick drive/walk has you right in the heart of downtown Lancaster with many delicious options for food and entertainment. Jason was a great host, who took the time to provide wonderful instructions prior to arriving, and just a call away if needed.

Simon and Julia are super helpful and kind. The place was just as expected, kitchen was fully equipped, everything was clean - and beautiful views. You can hear the neighbors pretty clear upstairs - but you can’t do much about that - plus it was disclosed in the listing. So overall I give 5 stars to Julia and Simon because THEY were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - super responsive, I will definitely be returning ❤️ p.s. my bro forgot his wallet in the bnb after we checked out and there was absolutely no issue going back to find it - they are a delightful couple.

Jasmine & Scott’s place was even more beautiful than the photos! A truly unique spot that was super clean in a great location. The attention to detail in decor and Jasmine’s friendliness and responsiveness made us feel right at home. We had some issues with the projector when we arrived and Jasmine came right over and fixed it for us while we were out for dinner (at one of Jasmine’s amazing recommendations!). We couldn’t have asked for a better trip :)

Shannon’s place was perfect for my boyfriend and I to get away for a couple days ! Conveniently located (could either walk or a quick 6 min uber/lyft) super close to the airport ! 100/10 would stay here again!

Sid was very responsive to all messages and we were able to get right in. Secure parking was easy and walkable to OTR and downtown spots. Wouldn't hesitate to book in a second next time we are in town.

I can not say enough about this beautiful little gem in the woods! It was so well decorated and all the little thoughtful additions, like a bag of local coffee and heated bed covers were just perfect and exactly what I needed for this get away to reconnect with myself and nature. I barely left the condo, because the view was so spectacular and how cozy the home felt! I was visited by a bunch of different birds on the cute patio where I painted a few of them as I sipped coffee and just listened to the breeze ruffle the leaves or rain shower that softly fell! Definitely hope to return very soon!

We had a great vacation and highly recommend this condo! The rental was beautiful, very homey, updated and clean. The location can’t be beat. It was convenient getting to both the pool and the beach. It was only a couple of steps if you forgot something and had to run back. Even though the pool was shared, it was rarely crowded. The condo was well stocked, beyond your typical “enough to get started”. There were cleaning supplies, including dishwasher pods, trash bags, and laundry detergent. The kitchen was well stocked, had great appliances and all the basic cooking supplies like salt & pepper, cooking oil, coffee pods and coffee filters. The two decks were amazing. The view from the second story deck was incredible. I wish they had a table on one of the decks so we could eat meals outside while looking at the ocean, but we made do with the rocking chairs. The beds were a little stiff for our liking, but that’s personal preference. Otherwise it was amazing and we’ll be back!

Lori’s place was amazing! The location was perfect, peaceful, yet centrally located near tons of things to do. Whether you want to explore or just head back to relax, it’s the ideal spot. I highly recommend taking your coffee out onto the balcony to enjoy the beautiful view, it was one of my favorite parts of the stay. Lori was incredibly responsive and checked in often to make sure I had everything I needed. I would 100% stay here again in a heartbeat!

Jesse was a great host and we enjoyed staying at their place! We appreciated the private beach to play at and the pool was well maintained. There were plenty of food and entertainment options that Jesse recommended in their binder, and all were fantastic choices. The views were amazing from the living room/patio, and it felt very private. We couldn’t see any other guest and did not hear neighbors. It was very peaceful being on site and we could definitely see about renting the place again in the future! Jesse was a great host, communicated early and often, and made sure our stay was a pleasant one. Overall, great experience and thank you for letting us stay at your lovely home!
