Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Appalachian Mountains

Nothing but great things to say! Our host was super nice and responded quickly when we needed to communicate! The cabin is on the side of a mountain so you get beautiful views! With that being said I wouldn’t recommend driving at night if not used to driving mountain roads and the description of the road is accurate it’s a one way with some pull off areas for traversing. You don’t have to have 4 wheel drive during non winter season but there are people with cars that live there but we wouldn’t have felt comfortable to do that. The stairs to go up to the master bedroom are steep as she said but they have a non slip grip tape on each step and there are gates at every level for children/pets. The hot tub was so nice and was already up and running when we arrived. There were towels, dishes, some condiments, and a decent amount of kitchen utensils and such. Downtown blue ridge and ellijay are both pet friendly places! Amicalola state park is beautiful with an easy hike to the waterfall.

This beautiful house in the woods was even better than expected - incredibly private, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. We loved just relaxing to the sounds of the nearby creek and playing music on the vinyl player - such a special touch. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared. It’s also not far from Minnewaska State Park, which made hiking super convenient. Couldn’t have asked for more. We’d love to come back!

No notes, incredible escape even in the pouring rain. The ambience, even down to the little things like walking through the door to classical music, was truly top notch.

Our stay was so relaxing. The house is very comfortable and we felt at home right away. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The sauna is absolutely magical and the lake was quiet and peaceful. Check in/out was a breeze. Perfect spot for a relaxing long weekend with zero stress.

Such a beautiful retreat - close to downtown Berkeley Springs but just far enough away to feel completely secluded. the view from every room and balcony was gorgeous. The house has nearly everything you need right there - we especially appreciated the kitchen having seasonings & all of the pots/pans/dishes you need to cook. Our goal was having a few days to rest and spend time with each other, and that's exactly what we were able to do. The game room was a real treat, and the bowl of conversation starters in the living room was such a fun way to hang out without just having the TV on.

The perfect getaway for our time adventuring in the wild and wonderful. The home was PERFECT. The amenities were top notch, spic and span, and thoughtfully arranged. We had an amazing time and we highly recommend this home to anyone who needs a peaceful and fun getaway. Thank you, Jennifer et al!

Beautiful place, we loved the hot tub, the fire pit the gorgeous bedroom and fully stocked kitchen. A dream to cook and hang out in. This is a place you want to stay in and not leave. Internet and wifi was excellent. Communication was great. The projector system didn't work at all and we did get some help, and when they weren't able to help they offered us a free night stay if we wanted to stay another day. However, please stop with the AI responses they are not helpful and just make it feel less responsive once you realize it's not a human. Cons were just that the sofa isn't very comfy or loungeable, but that's really it. Thanks for a lovely stay!

This was by far the best trip we’ve ever had. The house was absolutely breathtaking—every corner was filled with thoughtful details that showed how much love and care went into creating it. It truly felt like a work of art. The hosts even left a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us, which made our celebration even more special! Our days were filled with unforgettable experiences, from exploring The Lost Sea and the Hunter Museum to horseback riding and taking in the majestic beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. Plenty of antique shops to explore and every restaurant we visited served the most delicious food, making every meal a treat. Each night, we returned to what felt like a dream home and woke up to the most stunning views of the mountains and the town below. We couldn’t have asked for a more magical and memorable getaway. Everything was PERFECT!

Amazing experience! My first stay at the Treehouse and definitely won’t be my last! From the calming hilltop view surrounded by nature to the wildlife outside the window. Short, easy drive to Main Street. Serenity is what I was seeking when booking this and serenity is what I found. Amazing pool. Cozy bed. CLEAN everything. Saving best for last ~ the hostess. She is one of the most incredible humans I have met! The Treehouse, your hostess, the town ~ you will not be disappointed!

Ami’s place was great! Stayed for my birthday and was surprised with a delicious tres leche cake upon my arrival! The view was incredible, amenities were amazing, overall it was everything I hoped for and more. Thanks Ami!

Michael & Sarah’s place is fantastic! Right on the lake with every amenity you could want (French press, dishwasher, home theatre, BBQ, and fire pit to name a few) The place was comfortable and clean, in an extremely tranquil location, perfect for coffee or wine looking out over the lake from the porch or dock. This home had all of the little touches that make for an extremely comfortable stay (like wood and fire starters at the fire pit). Michael and Sarah are very warm, friendly and welcoming - we would recommend this place to anyone we know visiting the area!

Modern, beautifully decorated unit with great privacy. Views are amazing, so wide, expansive and peaceful. You can watch sunrise and sunset from the balcony! You can see people passing on the side street in their horse and buggies. The outdoor seats are very comfortable. The bed is comfortable too. Matt is a phenomenal host, his response time is super quick, he is very helpful and accommodating.

It’s been a little over a week since we stayed here and I cannot stop thinking about it. The pictures in this listing are beautiful but the space is even more incredible in person. I also spent a lot of time sitting on the deck and taking in the view of the mountains - so peaceful! The attention to detail here is unmatched. From check in to checkout, everything is very clear. Communication was great. The guidebook is thorough. And, again, the space really is so well done. You can enjoy the beautiful surroundings even indoors. Highly recommend!

Peter's place was amazing. the beds were so comfy, and the entire place was pretty much spotless. we felt very comfortable and enjoyed relaxing at the location. Peter went above and beyond to give us tips on places to checkout and scenic spots to hike/explore. 110% recommend when coming to see New York's nature side.

The place was nice and roomy. Very accommodating. Sarah was fantastic at responding to getting us a coffee pot of which the place did not have one. That was so much appreciated. I hope her future guess will appreciate that also.

Finally, a place that made Air BnB feel worth it again. If you’re even considering this place, just book it. The location is incredible. The listing photos don’t do it justice. The moment you start to walk down the path and hear the peaceful sound of the river and see the beautiful setting, you know this place is a gem. You’re totally immersed in the woodland setting. Sitting outside on the deck every morning enjoying a coffee and reading just set the tone for a great day. The stress of every day is gone. Stacey was the perfect host. She actually cared about providing a great experience. She provided those little touches that are what this app was supposed to be about. Every host should be taking notes from Stacey. This Airbnb exceeded our expectations! The gorgeous drive up to the property was amazing! The adorable little Airbnb that we found at the end of the road was stunning. The view over the deck was so peaceful. When we walked in, it had a clean, subtle smell of laundry detergent, and the place was not only immaculate, it was modern and well stocked. Our only regret is that we didn't have the time to spend here what we would have loved, but we will definitely keep this one on our list to return! We've already recommended it to family! Property (farm) is beautiful and well kept. Cabin is modern, well appointed, very clean and well cared for. Open views of the surrounding mountains, fields, river and farm animals is so nice it almost seems unreal. Note: there is not a full kitchen but instead a make shift kitchenette area with a portable burner, microwave, toaster oven, etc - fine for preparing simple meals. Excellent host. Good, fast, spot-on communication. Overall a quiet, ideal place to get away and relax.

Absolutely magical! Everything was perfect! Thoughtful touches everywhere, squeaky clean and the most comfortable bed! The soaking tub in the loft was fabulous! We can’t wait to come back!!!

5 stars all across the board. So beautiful and peaceful inside the cabin and outside as well. Everything was as described and as pictured on the website or better. Beds were super comfy and all amenities and details inside the cabin were beautiful. The views on the property were breathtaking. We had a wonderful time and would definitely book again.

Had such a nice time here I almost don’t want other people to know about it! Beautiful cabin with a view, feels very private but you’re not far from attractions and activities in Lost River.
