Dome vacation rentals in Appalachian Mountains

We’ve stayed in Airbnb’s all over the world and this immediately became one of our favorites. Beautiful spot on the river, relaxing hot tub and everything was super clean. The place was very comfortable for our family. It was a rainy weekend, so we didn’t get to take full advantage of all the outdoor amenities but hope to come back at some point for pickleball and kayaking.

We had been here several times in the past and always enjoyed it. It has been kept up well and it was delightful to see the trilliums coming up on the ?north? side! I had a bit of trouble connecting to the wifi (although my phone remembered the connection), and Annique responded quickly to help. the key was that all the characters are uppercase, even though the posted note had some lower case.... should have tried that without bothering her. We WILL be back!

I had a wonderful stay at Beth’s place! The space was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. It felt like a true home away from home. Beth was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful with all the little touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. The location was peaceful and conveniently located. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Joshua was a lovely and accommodating host. He was extremely kind, helpful and responsive. He went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and had a great time. We loved chatting with him, spending time on the beautiful property, and had an overall perfect trip. Hope to be back again soon!

We got more than we expected with this place. The surroundings were very pleasant, the kitchen was stocked with the necessities, and Brendan sells firewood for $5 per bundle. The sleeping quarters are beautiful and the bed is comfortable. Would stay again when we’re back

A wonderful retreat for two AT hikers and our dog. Quiet, comfortable, and very well taken care of. Great to come back from a long hime to dip in the hot tub and look at the stars!

Another great stay with a great host! This was our first visit to the GOAT dome after staying a few times at the Farm and the dome didn’t disappoint! Perfect for a little glamping getaway with everything you could want or desire for such a trip. Jessica and her team are always very responsive to any last minute questions and provide a TON of information on the area that benefits first timers and repeat visitors alike. Always so thankful for the opportunity to stay here and appreciative of Jessica and her team for the experience they provide!

Hated leaving our Misty Dome!! But we had an amazing time, such a peaceful way to spend our weekend.

Beautiful property, peaceful with a perfect mountain view from the room. Enjoyed the scenery in sun & rain. Sunset hike was awesome, quiet, and serene; so good we went up each night. Great host with easy check in and out instructions. Everything very well maintained & clean. Bit of a winding drive, but absolutely worth the views!

Our quick getaway turned into a magical adventure. The property felt like a cozy treehouse nestled in nature, offering complete peace and tranquility. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax, and the fire pit created the perfect ambiance for the evening. Inside, everything was beautifully designed and felt like stepping into a fairytale. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable retreat! Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay!!

The domes are so nicely set up, you feel like you are at a family cottage with all the little decor pieces and cozy touches. We felt right at home. We loved the different space you have to sit and enjoy the views, it was a bit too breezy for us to have a fire but there were multiple areas and loads of wood available. The fire place in dome #1 made it so warm and cozy. the bathroom was clean and had everything you'd need. Max and Brandon were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating. We even got a taste of local lobster from Brandon, which was amazing and put the stay over the top!!

Matched the description. The dome and surrounding areas were beautiful, and it was indeed like an upscale camping experience. The petting zoo by the farm was a lovely way to end our stay. The hosts were very communicative, and flexible when my road trip was delayed and I had to check in very late.

Absolutely amazing place. So beautiful and private. My wife and I stayed for 2 night and it was perfect. Even when the weather was bad it didn’t affect anything. We loved the hot tub and fire pit! And the bottle of wine and chocolates were a great treat for us when we arrived. Will definitely be back!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay! I wish I was there longer to enjoy to jacuzzi and sauna! Unique spot and so comfortable!! Loved sleeping under the stars!! Will book again!! 😍🩷

This place is beautiful if you want to get away from the hustle bustle! My partner and I stayed for a night, enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor shower, enjoyed the screened in area, while we BBQ. Took time to lay in the hammock and watch the sunshine fade to night through the trees and watch the polin blow through the woods, it looked so pretty. It was magical at night with all the lights strung around the area as well! We will book again, we could only stay one night and had to leave early the next day, but I'm looking forward to enjoying the outdoor firepit and sauna next visit. It was very private, quiet, and it was easy to take a quick trip into town if you need snacks, grocery stores, or a restaurant. It was beautiful and we look forward to booking in the future!

Stayed here for one night with my girlfriend. The place is very clean and very modern with cool features! The hot tub was great but there were a ton of little bugs that were biting us. However, that’s expected when next to a body of water. There is a menu of food that is locally made and can be delivered to the home. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be ordered. We didn’t order any food but it’s a very cool choice to have. Overall, it was a great place and I can’t recommend it enough.

April’s Tree Top Dome was the ultimate off grid experience. The ease of just showing up and having everything needed for a comfortable weekend of “camping” has been captured by Evan at Outercamp. Cannot wait for my next trip back!

Was looking for a peaceful quiet day away from city and this Airbnb was perfect. The dome had all facilities in the listing, ac/heat, wifi and board games. Bashir was great and responded quickly to questions. The sheep and chickens were great edition too. Recommend!

my husband and I loved staying at the Hive! The property is beautiful, quiet and so well kept! We felt so taken care of and didn't want to leave. Within 20 minutes of being there, I texted my best friend that we needed to come back for our annual girls trip!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at Kate’s place was absolutely incredible! The domes were stunning both inside and out beautifully designed, clean, and super cozy. You can tell a lot of thought went into creating a fun and unique experience. Whether we were relaxing inside or enjoying the view outside, everything felt peaceful and well taken care of. Kate was a fantastic host, welcoming, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a memorable and refreshing getaway!

Thank you for hosting me at the dome. Beautiful surroundings. I especially loved having a glass of wine while looking at the horses and spending time in the hot tub. Sleeping under a clear dome when it’s raining was very cozy. A little tricky up the driveway but you’ll get used to it quickly. I did it with a Golf GTI so you don’t really need an SUV. Would do again!

We had a great experience at the dome. It's secluded allows you to disconnect from everyday life in a peacefull environment. Highly recommended! The place is clean and well organized. Chris and Shelley are great hosts and answered all our questions promptly.
