Small Paradise above the Walensee

Guests have a separate apartment with their own kitchen, bath and living room but they share the same entrance to the house with the owner. All the surroundings of the house can be used by the guests. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, electric stove, cooking utilities (inclusive herbs, vinegar and oil) cutlery and tableware. Food needs to be brought by the guests. The nearest store is a 30min drive away. A Fondue-Set is available upon request. There is also a Nespresso machine inclusive capsuls and an open fire place right next to the house. The main bedroom includes a double bed (1.40m) and there is another separate room with a single bed, inclusive bedding. The bathroom comes with towels, shampoo, shower gel and a hair dryer.

Since fall 2019, the cottage has been shining above Flims at 1500 meters above sea level. During construction, great attention was paid to quality, regionality and above all longevity, as well as attention to detail – these are the ingredients that make our cottage so unique! Beautiful bright apartment in the attic with fantastic views over Lake Walen. On the outskirts of Obstalden am Kerenzerberg. Ideal starting point for hikes, bike rides and ski tours. Quiet location and good infrastructure in the village with village shops and restaurants. In Filzbach (5 minutes by car or bus), the Kerenzerbergbahnen offer various activities throughout the year. The gondola lift in Unterterzen, which leads to the Flumserberg ski and hiking area, can be reached in 10 minutes by car.

The apartment is surrounded by nature, away from the road, yet close to the village. There you will find shopping facilities such as Volg, Spar mini, bakery with coffee and also a restaurant. We also have an indoor pool, where you can enjoy the warm water on the bubble loungers and admire the mountains. The apartment has many toys, a TV with 7 days of replay. The kitchen is well equipped but without a dishwasher. From the living room and bedroom you can see the mountains and Lake Walen.

A cozy tiny house on 36 m² in the mountains. The well thought-out layout offers a lot of comfort in a small space. Far from ordinary. The entire living, dining and sleeping area as well as the shower and separate toilet are built in modern light-flooded wooden construction. Our paradise invites you to relax. Cozy guest room upstairs with en-suite bathroom and fantastic views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. The living room is for shared use, and there is a small refrigerator, a Nespresso machine and a kettle. Please note: There is no kitchen and no possibility to cook. Our cat also lives in the attic. We live in a remote location, so a car is an advantage. Parking space and seating area with fire pit available.

Come and enjoy the fresh Swiss mountain air. Our well equipped, self contained apartment is a great place to spend some time away in either Summer or Winter. Our place is just a 2 minute drive to Oberterzen to catch the cable car up to Flumserberg for a great day of skiing, mountain biking or hiking. We are also only a 3 minute drive to Unterterzen to spend a beautiful summers day at the Walensee.
