Castle vacation rentals in Alps

We had 2 wonderful weeks in historical ambiance and beautiful surroundings. The reception by Catherine was super friendly and her many tips very helpful. The possibilities for exploration and activities are numerous (cave visit, Lyon, visit to medieval villages in the area, swimming in the Ain, paddle excursions) Thanks to Catherine and family!

We had a wonderful stay at “the castle.” The communal kitchen led to a few nice conversations with other guests and the farm store downstairs (with delicious raw milk!) was a total highlight for the kids and us. We’re sure to recommend and will be back!

We had a great time at this beautiful mansion, spacious, bright and warm. Its cozy atmosphere makes it perfect for hosting people or for a family stay. Despite a view of factories across the street, with continuous smoke and a little noise, we were fully satisfied with the standard offered. The interior design is a clever mix of old charm and modernity, which brings a lot of character to the place. We strongly recommend this mansion. It would certainly be even more pleasant in summer, especially to enjoy the pool. Again, thank you for this great experience!

Claudia was a wonderful help and manager. For us it was unfortunate as the room we reserved sprung a leak that could not new fixed in a day. However, the room we did get was smaller and much different view as the room we chose and paid for had a breathtaking view of the town and rolling hills of Tuscany to 4 less windows that looked upon the green tree branches. Be sure and bring shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, coffee for provided pot. These were nothing that compares to the ambiance of everywhere around you. The beautiful restaurant “Lil Castle” 200 steps to your right was superb. Adela and the chef were over the top with experience , great cooking, Adela was filled with information about wine, the food, and surrounding area. Such a wonderful new friend.

Our stay at this medieval castle was truly unforgettable. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to help us when our car had mechanical issues. The back terrace offered breathtaking views, and the serenity of the location made it the perfect retreat, far from any hustle and bustle. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Living in a medieval castle was an incomparable experience, and we loved the friendly visits from Pepita, the dog. The only minor inconvenience was the limited hot water supply for six people, but it didn't overshadow our wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

The castle is an amazing place to stay and not far from the village. We highly recommend staying here as you can usually visit a castle but not stay in one.

We wanted to take a break to cut our long vacation journey in two. The castle is authentic, everything is simple, the essentials are there, and above all an unparalleled atmosphere. I'm glad I stayed 2 nights to really soak up this unique place. Nearby there is Bèze which is definitely worth a visit to occupy a day with the children. The croissants in the breakfast were delicious and Bertrand very nice and flexible. A wonderful family experience.

Andrea was very responsive, friendly, went above and beyond, and made our first trip to Milan a wonderful adventure. The location has a great view from the balconies and is very close to the shopping, my favorite artsy neighborhood nearby, and another area with plenty of local cafes and eateries. It was peaceful at night. Two train stations nearby, very accessible. Highly recommend.

Magical stay. Inside, the fireplace and multiple statues bring you back in time. Outside, the pool is a hit with the kids and the grounds provide a stream, bridges, gardens and a forest to explore. We also appreciated the multiple outdoor eating and lounging areas. It is clear the family lives here and has put a lot of thought into the chateau.

I highly recommend! This castle was amazing. The location is beautiful. The castle had modern amenities with the charm of its original build and decor. I felt like I was in a movie staying in the rooms there. It is also an open museum so people will be touring it during the day time and I thought that was fun to take the historical tour as well. It was a great experience. The host was so friendly and helpful when we needed ideas on places to go.

A world class residence in a incredible place! It’s 5/5 at least! The property, furnishings and amenities are unlike anything else. And the hosts were excellent in their communications, suggestions and accommodations. You cannot over state how excellent the property is.

Our stay was wonderful! We visited this part of Austria for a ski trip at Kitzsteinhorn. This stay was perfectly located to the mountain (about 20 min). The bread service was excellent! As well as the farm fresh eggs and milk each morning. The property offered very nice saunas which made for a great recovery and relaxing evening after skiing. The room was so cute and perfect for couples. The heated towel rack in the bathroom was also a plus! Definitely would stay here again and definitely recommend!

One of our best ever Air B&B experiences, staying in a castle with so much history. The schloss was amazing, the suite incredible and Heidi and Egon really friendly. Everything was pristine and we loved our stay. Thank you so much!

We had a great time at Jean-Eric's place. The house is huge, so everyone has their space and privacy. The common areas are also very large and the equipment is quite suitable for large groups. The outdoor space is great and suitable for children because it's totally enclosed. The area is very beautiful, there are many walks to do nearby. A very nice place if you are looking for peace and quiet! Jean Eric is very responsive, flexible and has good advice. Evguenia, who welcomed us is also adorable. We recommend it without hesitation!

Our party of 11 so enjoyed our stay at the castle! The pictures are extremely accurate, but nothing compared to seeing it in person for the first time. It was stocked with everything we needed, especially everyday things for cooking, towels, blankets, etc. The walk up/down can be tough, but after the first couple of days we adjusted fairly well. All very worth it for such a unique experience and stay!! We also loved exploring the town of Settimo Vittone and the surrounding area. Karl was an excellent host and communicator, as well as Moreno and his wife. :)

We had a very pleasant stay in the chateau! The place is very beautifully renovated and decorated. Its extremely spacious and all rooms were very clean. The garden is also great for kids to play. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back!

The accommodation is simple, however, the friendliness of the town, views and uniqueness of staying in a castle were fabulous. Ludmila was a friendly and helpful host and we had a lovely comfortable stay. We recommend highly.

The accommodation is very cozy, it feels very good, the terrace between the bedrooms and the kitchen is shaded surrounded by bamboo perfect for meals and relaxing. Jean Marc is about welcoming you and immediately making you feel at ease. A very human and discreet person who makes everything available to make sure we have a great stay. The pool is 10m well maintained perfect for swimming and sunbeds for relaxing. Lots of walks and beautiful villages under 30min away.

Beautiful villa surrounded by vineyards and countryside. The nearby village of Panzano is so picturesque with lovely restaurants. I can also recommend visiting other Chianti towns and especially the market on a Saturday in Greve. The hosts Filippo and his father Carlo couldn't do enough for us and the communication was superb. The villa is so spacious and makes you feel right at home with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a garden with a pool that's just the icing on the cake. It was very warm during our visit and the fans provided were very welcomed. Every room is also equipped with mosquito nets on the windows. We made use of the large BBQ a few nights and also had a lovely wine tasting one evening which I can highly recommend. We were very sad to leave Villa Reggine and hope to return one day. Grazie!

Staying at the castle was truly a dream come true! What a magnificent place, and the village and people were so friendly and helpful! Our breakfast was so fresh and tasty every morning, and so plentiful. Staying at LaSassa was one of the highlights of our entire stay in Italy, and you truly felt like a king and queen! The renaissance details, authentic stone, painting and old touches really added to the charm. I was so sad to leave, and would recommend everyone to stay at this truly unique and wonderful place!! It was so nice to be away from the crowds of Rome and Florence, and the view of the Tuscan Valley from the top of the castle was breathtaking! I can’t say enough wonderful things about staying at the castle. Thank you so much Giacomo and staff for your wonderful hospitality, and making our trip to Italy the trip of a lifetime!!

A beautiful two bedroom apartment in a historical Villa surrounded by a French style garden which we absolutely loved! We were welcomed by Damien and felt right at home in the flat. We loved big windows, lots of light, and attention to detail that Damien demonstrated by decorating a Christmas tree for us and preparing a welcome gift - some candies. The bathroom in the main bedroom is spacious and beautifully designed. We especially loved the combination of traditional elements and modernity, such as electric stove that looked like a traditional 19th century one. A fireplace is another great feature. It makes you feel like being in a French chateau. All in all, a great stay in a great place with kind and welcoming host. We can highly recommend the flat and Damien!

Very nice, peaceful in beautiful surroundings. Half an hour drive to Fiss, Ladis, Serfaus, one hour drive to Lech, 45min to St. Anton, perfect for skiers. A very good ski equipment room with heated ski boot rack, drying your boots overnight. Lovely, helpful hostess.

It was clean when we arrived and we could easily get in through the key safe. Had very pleasant contact the next day with the staff at the reception about the sauna for the next day. Restaurant 20 meters away with delicious food and a supermarket 10 minutes walk away. Good quality beds and shower. All in all great

Great place, excellent facilities, large open space for relaxing outside. Very close to Lazise, beach and transport! Would highly recommend and would stay again! Thank you to our hosts
