Yurt vacation rentals in Alps

It was a wonderful stay. The two dogs were our son's (6 years) best friends. Also very nice were the fresh eggs in the kitchen from their own chickens.. SUPER delicious... We will definitely be back when we explore Switzerland. Thank you again to the host

Great stay (too short!) in Jean-Luc's comfortable yurt. This is not a neutral and soulless tourist accommodation, but a living place, where you feel that others have enjoyed it before us. It has everything you need to rest in nature and have fun without taking the car (walk to get bread, wood to build cabins, river to cool off, fire to grill the marshmallows...) We'll be back😊!

We stayed with our two children aged 6 & 9 in the Yurt with Laurence and her husband for six nights. We all loved it! We were the first Dutch people in 12 years. Which was a surprise for us, because the area is incredibly beautiful and indeed pure and quiet everywhere. In reality the place is much more beautiful than in the photos. You have your own piece of land around your Yurt, which ensures that you have a lot of peace and quiet, but you can also socialize in the covered area near the kitchen. Everything you need is there, Laurence and her husband are also very helpful. The village of Sainte-Jalle seems like a hamlet, but offers you exactly the French life you are looking for. A delicious bakery (best nut bread ever), a great pure French market on Friday evenings, a cozy restaurant and a supermarket around the corner. The guests who come to this place are also sweet, interested people, which created a nice feeling of solidarity that week. In short, enjoyed it!

What a superb find and the location was just great. If you want to experience something a little different then stay one of their yurts. Great fun.

we had a timeless time with the family. The setting is a real paradise, the yurt is magical, the birdsong, the beautiful trees, nature enveloped us in its love for 2 days! Audrey is a very beautiful person, caring and very cheerful. A beautiful soul! For nature lovers, those in need of calm and peace, to reunite with family, recharge, stop time, book quickly!

We had a great multi-generational weekend (2-65 years), were the only guests and had the generous surroundings, incl. Outdoor kitchen, for us and we really enjoyed it. The kids found some toys for outside and were happy. In the outdoor area, there are certainly a few things that need to be renewed or overhauled (chairs and tables around the grill, beach chair, possibly fabric of the yurt and lounge cushions) Merci Kurt:)

A really beautiful place – we had a great day! The yurt was cozy and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the blankets kept us pleasantly warm. We felt like at home. The sanitary facilities were also clean and warm. All in all, it was an all-around nice stay. I'm sure we'll be back. Many thanks to the Villa Donkey team!

Catherine and her husband were extremely welcoming and available. It was a wonderful timeless stay in this atypical accommodation, we had a wonderful night in a warm decor. The meal and breakfast were delicious I highly recommend them. And we were lucky enough to be able to visit their farm and be in contact with their goats whose cheese we tasted. go there without so much as a second thought!

Excellent accommodation on the hill in a peace and relaxation olive grove. Jacopo is very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend that those who like it have never tried a yurt and like to take walks in nature

We stayed at this special place for one night and it just did us good. Everything is exactly as described, uncomplicated and also totally nice and relaxed in contact. The atmosphere in the yurt feels special and really very cozy. A clear recommendation for anyone who wants to try something different.

A wonderful place to spend a quiet weekend. Even better with my shepherd dog who loved the beautiful nature of the area. The yurt is perfectly well thought out and far from everything. It had everything needed to ensure comfort and tranquility. We were even able to have a good raclette in the warmth of the yurt! Bonus point for the shower cabin which is really great (and the water heats up very quickly). Many things to do nearby! We'll be back soon... Thank you Aline :))

Beautiful setting. Flo was available before and during the stay to ensure we had a welcome that matched the place. New Year's Eve under the stars and snow... but by the fire in a comfortable yurt!

We had a lovely stay with friends. The accommodation is very beautiful and very well arranged. It is conveniently located to be able to visit the Jura. Sandrine is very welcoming and will advise you on nice activities or places. The icing on the cake: the Nordic bath looking at the stars! We'll be happy to go back!

The yurt is a wonderful space in an unbelievably serene location. Bettina has created the perfect setting to be in touch with nature (and yourself) and her setup inspires to take better care of oneself and the earth. It’s also a great starting point for gorgeous hikes in the area. The nearby village is very picturesque and there’s everything you need within walking distance like a grocery store and several restaurants (the yurt is well equipped to cook nice meals) . As she mentions in the description, this is not a luxury resort in terms of material but after spending four nights in the yurt I feel quite enriched. Highly recommend and hope to return one day in the future.

Beautiful stay in Simone's chalet where we found the peace and change of scenery we needed! The chalet is a small cocoon very nicely decorated, a place that has a soul and where you feel good, located in a green setting at the foot of the mountain and rocked by the birdsong and the river that flows right next to it. There is everything we need from a functional point of view, we did not want for anything. We also thank Simone for her good communication and availability!

We were two families with two children each and had a wonderful time at this special place. Sleeping in the yurts was also an experience. A true space miracle with cozy beds. The children loved to play in the meadows, to slide, to swing and above all to help in the barn with the goats and sheep. Sabrina, Adriana and Luca are so friendly and open-minded, we all felt very comfortable right away! Thank you for EVERYTHING.

A absolute stunning experience at a unique location. If you search the most iconic experience in the Swiss Alpes, this yurt is your go to! Absolute loving hosts with extreme helpful and clear instructions. They are exceptional friendly and responded super fast. I can recommend the Raclette at their alpage restaurant.

A peacefully wonderful piece of nature right at the Dolomiti’s doorstep. This place was such a precious find! We loved the peace and quiet that you get at the yurt, and the goats and chickens everywhere make it even more special. The hosts are responsive and Jacopo is a genuinely great person. Would 100% recommend.

we were in the big yurt for a bachelor party and it was a beautiful experience, with a bonfire outside and also the possibility of using the grill. Manuel is very kind and super helpful in addition, he offers many activities such as musical meditation or the talent map and also for advice on what to do in the area or where to eat. the yurt is very evocative and comfortable, plus there is electricity and heating/air conditioning, the beds are futons but very comfortable. Truly a different experience than usual and very evocative! shared bathroom but very clean and kitchen always stocked. Recommended for everyone!

For those looking for a relaxing setting and simple and sufficient comfort for a country break, the place is quite suitable. The Mongolian yurt contributes greatly to this. The welcome is cordial.

We were so lucky to have been able to go to Melissande's place with our dog. A quiet area in nature, relaxing, with several activities nearby: hiking, skiing, horseback riding,... Melissande is very available, this moment of disconnection made us feel good, thank you to her for sharing. It's a full right for both humans and animals. We're coming back with stars in our eyes! Even Pelote was lovely.

We had a great holiday mostly under the rain. The wood stove in the yurt makes it very cosy. There are nice walks to do in the area. Michael was friendly and helpful, and his neighbours as well!
