Castle vacation rentals in Alps

Claudia was a wonderful help and manager. For us it was unfortunate as the room we reserved sprung a leak that could not new fixed in a day. However, the room we did get was smaller and much different view as the room we chose and paid for had a breathtaking view of the town and rolling hills of Tuscany to 4 less windows that looked upon the green tree branches. Be sure and bring shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, coffee for provided pot. These were nothing that compares to the ambiance of everywhere around you. The beautiful restaurant “Lil Castle” 200 steps to your right was superb. Adela and the chef were over the top with experience , great cooking, Adela was filled with information about wine, the food, and surrounding area. Such a wonderful new friend.

Our stay at this medieval castle was truly unforgettable. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to help us when our car had mechanical issues. The back terrace offered breathtaking views, and the serenity of the location made it the perfect retreat, far from any hustle and bustle. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. Living in a medieval castle was an incomparable experience, and we loved the friendly visits from Pepita, the dog. The only minor inconvenience was the limited hot water supply for six people, but it didn't overshadow our wonderful stay. Highly recommended!

Que dire!! Tout simplement magnifique. Lieu idéalement placé, avec un accès simple et facile. Les recommandations d arrivée sont claires et précises, la qualité du logement est impeccable et avec une vue incroyable. Propreté, décoration de qualité, et j en passe. Tout était comme indiqué sur l annonce, et même au delà. Merci pour ce bon moment. Un sacré souvenir de voyageur.. Nous recommandons les yeux fermés, vous pouvez faire confiance à Béatrice. Au plaisir de revenir.

Nous voulions faire une pause pour couper notre long trajet de vacances en 2. Le château fort est authentique, tout est simple, l'essentiel est là, et surtout une atmosphère inégalable. Je suis heureuse d'être restée 2 nuits pour vraiment s'imprégner de cet endroit unique. Aux alentours il y a Bèze qui vaut vraiment le détour pour occuper une journée avec les enfants. Les croissants du petit dèj étaient délicieux et Bertrand très agréable et flexible. Une expérience merveilleuse en famille.

If i could give 20 stars, it would not be enough to state what this Torre Riva is all about! Peaceful, private, quiet, ancient, historic! Perhaps the most remarkable place we've stayed! The village below is quiet, the townspeople are friendly. The entire area is a picture. You will feel history. Mario is an absolute genius with how to send the baggage up. The renovations that he continued with, the woodwork! The way up, is only the best part...get in shape. The village is worth the walk within all the alleys. A picture at every step. Absolute THANK YOU, MARIO...(And your wife to interpret) Grazie.

Andrea was very responsive, friendly, went above and beyond, and made our first trip to Milan a wonderful adventure. The location has a great view from the balconies and is very close to the shopping, my favorite artsy neighborhood nearby, and another area with plenty of local cafes and eateries. It was peaceful at night. Two train stations nearby, very accessible. Highly recommend.

Great apartment, large rooms, very quite in a little old castle. Very well equipped and close to ski locations. Kathrin is very nice and offered good fresh milk every day.

We had a great stay at Lennie‘s palazzo. She and her whole family have been very helpful and friendly. We‘d definitely go there again. The pool was ideal for our 2 yrs old child, the garden spacious and the view at the lush Italian countryside very relaxing.

I highly recommend! This castle was amazing. The location is beautiful. The castle had modern amenities with the charm of its original build and decor. I felt like I was in a movie staying in the rooms there. It is also an open museum so people will be touring it during the day time and I thought that was fun to take the historical tour as well. It was a great experience. The host was so friendly and helpful when we needed ideas on places to go.

A world class residence in a incredible place! It’s 5/5 at least! The property, furnishings and amenities are unlike anything else. And the hosts were excellent in their communications, suggestions and accommodations. You cannot over state how excellent the property is.

One of our best ever Air B&B experiences, staying in a castle with so much history. The schloss was amazing, the suite incredible and Heidi and Egon really friendly. Everything was pristine and we loved our stay. Thank you so much!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Jean-Eric. La maison est immense, chacun y trouve donc son espace et son intimité. Les espaces communs sont également très grands et l’équipement est tout à fait adapté à de grands groupes. L’espace extérieur est top et adapté aux enfants car totalement clos. La région est très belle, il y a de nombreuses balades à faire aux alentours. Un très bel endroit si vous recherchez du calme ! Jean Eric est très réactif, flexible et de bons conseils. Evguenia, qui nous a accueillis est également adorable. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Our party of 11 so enjoyed our stay at the castle! The pictures are extremely accurate, but nothing compared to seeing it in person for the first time. It was stocked with everything we needed, especially everyday things for cooking, towels, blankets, etc. The walk up/down can be tough, but after the first couple of days we adjusted fairly well. All very worth it for such a unique experience and stay!! We also loved exploring the town of Settimo Vittone and the surrounding area. Karl was an excellent host and communicator, as well as Moreno and his wife. :)

We had a very pleasant stay in the chateau! The place is very beautifully renovated and decorated. Its extremely spacious and all rooms were very clean. The garden is also great for kids to play. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back!

The villa was so beautiful and unique! Location was perfect and Aude was a wonderful host.

Un week-end parfait dans un logement magnifique, décoré avec beaucoup de goût et très bien équipé. Nous avons été très bien accueilli et Pascal a été tres agréable. Nous reviendrons très certainement nous détendre chez Pascal et Virginie, et je recommande a 100% pour ceux qui auraient encore des doutes.

The accommodation is simple, however, the friendliness of the town, views and uniqueness of staying in a castle were fabulous. Ludmila was a friendly and helpful host and we had a lovely comfortable stay. We recommend highly.

Le logement est très cosy on se sent très bien, la terrasse entre les chambres et la cuisine est ombragée entouré de bambou parfaite pour les repas et se détendre. Jean marc c'est vous accueillir et vous mettre tout de suite à l'aise. Une personne très humaine et discrete qui met tout a disposition pour que l'on passe un sejour au top. La piscine fait 10m bien entretenu parfaite pour nager et des transats pour se détendre. Beaucoup de balade et de beaux villages à moins de 30min.

Beautiful villa surrounded by vineyards and countryside. The nearby village of Panzano is so picturesque with lovely restaurants. I can also recommend visiting other Chianti towns and especially the market on a Saturday in Greve. The hosts Filippo and his father Carlo couldn't do enough for us and the communication was superb. The villa is so spacious and makes you feel right at home with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a garden with a pool that's just the icing on the cake. It was very warm during our visit and the fans provided were very welcomed. Every room is also equipped with mosquito nets on the windows. We made use of the large BBQ a few nights and also had a lovely wine tasting one evening which I can highly recommend. We were very sad to leave Villa Reggine and hope to return one day. Grazie!

Staying at the castle was truly a dream come true! What a magnificent place, and the village and people were so friendly and helpful! Our breakfast was so fresh and tasty every morning, and so plentiful. Staying at LaSassa was one of the highlights of our entire stay in Italy, and you truly felt like a king and queen! The renaissance details, authentic stone, painting and old touches really added to the charm. I was so sad to leave, and would recommend everyone to stay at this truly unique and wonderful place!! It was so nice to be away from the crowds of Rome and Florence, and the view of the Tuscan Valley from the top of the castle was breathtaking! I can’t say enough wonderful things about staying at the castle. Thank you so much Giacomo and staff for your wonderful hospitality, and making our trip to Italy the trip of a lifetime!!

A beautiful two bedroom apartment in a historical Villa surrounded by a French style garden which we absolutely loved! We were welcomed by Damien and felt right at home in the flat. We loved big windows, lots of light, and attention to detail that Damien demonstrated by decorating a Christmas tree for us and preparing a welcome gift - some candies. The bathroom in the main bedroom is spacious and beautifully designed. We especially loved the combination of traditional elements and modernity, such as electric stove that looked like a traditional 19th century one. A fireplace is another great feature. It makes you feel like being in a French chateau. All in all, a great stay in a great place with kind and welcoming host. We can highly recommend the flat and Damien!

Es war ein toller Urlaub und sehr schöne und ungewöhnliche Unterkunft, die wir sehr empfehlen würden! Alle Angaben und Bilder zu der Ferienwohnung und der Burg entsprachen der Realität. Die Kommunikation, Schlüsselübergabe etc. waren schnell und unkompliziert. Das Einzige was uns etwas Aufregung bei der Anreise gebracht hat, war die Tatsache, dass unser Navi die Adresse nicht kannte und Google Maps einen kurzen, aber sehr steilen Weg anbietet. Es gibt aber einen deutlich entspannteren Weg 😉 Aber das ist ja kein Kritikpunkt an der Unterkunft oder dem Anbieter. Sehr empfehlenswert ist auch der Freibad in Fließ!

Het was schoon toen we aankwamen en we konden makkelijk naar binnen door de sleutelkluis. Erg prettig contact gehad de volgende dag met het personeel bij de receptie over de sauna voor de volgende dag. Restaurant op 20Meter afstand met heerlijk eten en een supermarkt op 10 minuten lopen. Bedden en douche van goede kwaliteit. Al met al helemaal top

Wenn ich den Aufenthalt in dem Anwesen mit einem Wort beschreiben müsste, dann wäre dies ganz klar-Paradies. Es war ein mediterraner Traum. Noch viel schöner als auf den Bildern, der Olivenbaum Garten, einfach alles! Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit, gut erreichbar und total nett. Auch Delfinas Vater,der uns in Empfang genommen und verabschiedet hat war super lieb! Sein Hund Blanco hat es uns wirklich angetan. Alles in allem würde ich diese Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen, die Lage, die Ruhe und das ganze Flair. Ich hoffe noch einmal wieder zukommen. Man ist schnell im Ort und alles ist super easy zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft selbst ist einfach Mega süß und mit Herz eingerichtet.Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Gerne jeder Zeit wieder🥰
