Immaculate villa with plenty of space for everyone. Exceeded our expectations. Remote location best for people who have a car however peaceful and very close to drive into town in 10 minutes. Amazing restaurants nearby. Spectacular views. Beautiful pool area. Attentive friendly hosts. Especially beautiful Elmo the dog.

Absolutely beautiful location with stunning views of mountains and lake. Unique private beauty spot. Villa is spotlessly clean and well equipped with great views inside and out. Very large garden relaxing and enjoying the view. We brought paddle boards with us and went out on the lake everyday. Also wonderful for swimming. A selection of fantastic restaurants are a short lovely walk along the lakeside path. My son said he wanted to bring his children here. Truly a magical place.

First, the place. Villa Anna closely matches the description and has all the stated amenities. The pool and deck are great for relaxing when the weather is nice. Great views of Alba, the surrounding countryside and even the Alps when the air is clear! Just a short walk to town with great shopping, restaurants, sights, etc. Second, the host. Giulio is very accommodating and did a lot to ensure that we were comfortable, had good information on local restaurants and wineries and he checked in periodically to see if we needed anything. Highly recommended.

This villa was something out of a dream. Stefania was so lovely and wonderful with recommendations and booking us a rez at a fantastic local gem of a restaurant. The views were incredible and the atmosphere was so relaxing. The villa itself was cozy and inviting. The outside seating area was well used by us for nightcaps, dinner and conversations about falling in love with Tuscany and all it's amazing nooks and crannies. We wanted a picturesque and home-like central base for our 10 day adventure in Italy and we're delighted with the accommodations that really was like something out of a movie. Lucca was only a short drive away and offered the best grocery store-Esselunga! Thank you Stefania for your warm generosity, kindness and suggestions. This was a birthday trip that we will never forget and cemented our longing to return soon!

Words really can’t describe how beautiful this villa is. Eugenia is an incredible host, to say the absolute least. She is super helpful and on top of every thing you could ask for. Eugenia really made us feel at home and made everything so easy for us from transportation to restaurants to boats etc. I highly recommend staying here, you will NOT regret it.

Incredible property with a breath taking view over Florence. Hard to put into words how perfect the property is but the best part of the whole experience was the hospitality Marco, Stefania Grinza Carota and Filippo! The best hosts imaginable made us feel so at home, welcome and a part of the family. Now we want to move to Florence

The place was great – modern, clean and equipped with everything you need. The rooms are spacious and very comfortably furnished, you feel right at home. Especially positive: Everything was super well maintained and thoughtful. A small downside was that the pool had just been cleaned and therefore was not yet warm – that was a bit unfortunate. Otherwise, absolutely recommended, we will be happy to come back!

The accommodation exceeded all expectations, even better than in the photos. Every detail is perfectly thought out. The host and staff were exceptionally kind and attentive.

We have just returned from a holiday in this exceptional villa and we will be returning! The villa is incredible, as are the views. Ines, the host, was the most helpful, friendly and accommodating person I have ever dealt with on Airbnb. The pool is great, the beds are comfortable, the facilities are commensurate with the price paid, the garden landscaping is lovely, the attention to detail from Ines is exceptional. There are only positives to say about this beautiful villa.

We had a very lovely and relaxing time at the Villa. Diego was a friendly and helpful host and provided many great tips about the area. We visited in winter so the neighborhood was particularly quiet. The views of the lake were magnificent! The only suggestion would be a more modern TV and WiFi that reaches through the whole house. Outside of that, a very special property. Having a car is a must given the distance from the nearest village.

We spent part of our Honeymoon staying at this beautiful villa and quite honestly, we could not have picked a more perfect place. Check in was quick and easy. We met Luciano’s daughter, Birgitta on site and she talked us through the villa and all nearby amenities we may need. She was extremely kind and helpful. The little village is close by and the villa has everything you need to cater for yourselves and have a completely private get away. We cannot recommend enough. The villa was beautifully clean and the surroundings were stunning.

We spend a lovely long weekend relaxing by the pool. Was fantastic for the children, and fully equiped for a carefree stay. Just to note, which Flore did explain, the google maps/gps will lead you to an incorrect indentical address 20 mins away so be very vigilent with ordering ubers etc when imputting the address. All and all a lovely experience. Will come again!

I really enjoyed our stay. It's a lovely house. I mixed up the day of our arrival and she still made everything great.

We had a wonderful week in the beautiful villa of Smilja. Everything was super clean and although we could only arrive late at night, check-in was no problem. We even received a welcome greeting, thank you very much. The contact with Smilja was great - as well as in advance totally fast and very friendly. We enjoyed it very much. The children especially liked the great heated pool and the playroom. And that there was a smart TV in every room ;-). We'll definitely be back, we still have some excursion destinations on the list. A rental car/car is definitely recommended, although Privlaka can also be reached on foot. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Beautiful villa on the edge of the sweet town of Bale. You can get to the sea in 15 minutes by bike. Shopping 10 min by car. The pool half in the living room is awesome and pleasantly warm. Marko and Dunja are super nice and helpful. We felt very comfortable. Absolute recommendation!

A beautiful home - thank you for allowing us to stay. Very clean and modern with a good security system. Driveway is steep but manageable and so worth it to get to the view. The bedrooms are comfortable and AC is good. Two fridges are great. Loved the lounges around the pool. Both Maud and Laura were excellent at answering questions, plus Laura helped us out at short notice with any issues, and got us great tables at 2 nearby restaurants. We loved the peaceful environment and beaches around Les Issambres and it was a great base for visiting Saint Tropez by boat, and Saint Raphael by car or bus, as well as other Cote D'Azur beaches and villages.
