What an amazing place. The anti - boutique art cafe is something to experience. When so many places are being turned into “luxury living “ boxes it was delightful to stay in a 500 year old property with all its charm and quirks. Coming home at night to our own a bar was fun. The bed was extremely comfortable and the access to art materials was a real bonus to my artist husband. The kitchen has lots of equipment and the water in the shower has high water pressure and heater only takes a short time to produce VERY hot water. Once the inner door is closed the apartment is very peaceful. Communication with Spiros was excellent. It’s difficult to suggests any improvements. Maybe more pillows. We would appreciate a washing machine but understand this is extra cost. Be aware the cleaner next door sometimes spills water from the balcony into the garden. Just sit to the left. Oh I don’t forget to try the restaurant next door. Thank you Spiros for a lovely stay. A great way to end our 4 weeks.

Perfect location, 20m to the beach, many restaurants, friendly people, parking spot bit tricky but never more than 200m. Communication perfect, very proactive. Exactly as the pictures shows.

We had a nice stay. The location is excellent, very close to the harbor and in the middle of the charm of the old town. We would definitely stay here again.

Jenny is such a wonderful person and a fantastic host! The room was very clean, had a comfortable bed, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a few days in Chania. Not to mention it has a beautiful view! Please note you need to be able bodied to stay here as there are 3 flights of stairs up to the apartment - but this was not a problem for us. The apartment was about a 20-30 minute walk to Chania town, and it was a beautiful walk along the ocean. Jenny was so kind and helpful, responded so quickly to messages and gave us many local recommendations. Thank you Jenny!!! We had a wonderful time. :)

Beautiful place and great host

It was a great size apartment with a great outside space. The pool was lovely. It is a modern clean living space with fabulous welcome touches having wine, homemade pies fruit and cake, Anastasia changed towels on request and gave us recommendations of restaurants. Always available for enquiries, would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a stunning apartment

We are delighted with our stay at Manolis's place and highly recommend this place. The apartment is very pleasant and matches the photos. It is exceptionally located on a promontory. From the terrace or the glass window of the kitchen you overlook the bay with breathtaking views of the sea, Chania, the surrounding islands or peninsula. It's an enchantment no matter what time of day. And in the evening the aperitif on the terrace watching the sun go down!!!!!!!!!!!! A quiet and idyllic place near Chania, beautiful but hectic. Manolis is a lovely and thoughtful host, flowers, fruits and Raki was waiting for us upon arrival. He knows how to be a good tip for small restaurants, typical small villages, and off-the-beaten-path beaches. In this regard, special mention for the tavern located in the small port at the bottom of the apartment and for the small village of Tersanas (small dream bay). Anyway, thank you again to Manolis and we only have one wish...come back...

An excellent stay! The self check-in was hassle-free thanks to the clear instructions, and Katerina was always responsive. The apartment was super comfortable, clean, well-equipped, with small gifts as a bonus on arrival that we really appreciated. The balconies with sea and mountain views are perfect for relaxing. Big plus: reserved parking, super convenient. And the location is ideal for visiting the island, with La Canée minutes away. We recommend it without hesitating!

We spent a few wonderful days at Anastasia-Maria`s place around the Greek Easter celebration. Anastasia was so nice to prepare a table with different typical Easter things, like the red Easter eggs, the Lambades, some Koulourakia, the EasterBrioche and had prepared little notes to explain the easter traditions. That was amazingly kind !!! Whenever we had a question she answered within a very short time, always helpful and very friendly. The place is a beautifully calm place, where two adults and one teenager could recharge indoors and outdoors. It would easily fit another two people. We had regular cat visitors outside the kitchen door :) You will need a car to get there and to explore places like Rethimno, Chania, Elafonissi or Preveli. There are taverns in the surrounding villages and a Mini-supermarket 5 minutes by car down the road. We can highly recommend this place and will come back in the future. Beautiful, clean, and very responsive. The stay was as advertised. This home is well maintained, comfortable , and close to everything.

Our family had an amazing time here! It was a great central location for excursions, and had several restaurants within walking distance as well as some flat roads for jogging. The house was perfect for our needs with a great layout. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the clean modern furnishings. Minoas’s communication was excellent! A wonderful host who provided kitchen basics for the start of our stay and a lovely gift at the end. We would love to stay here if we return to Crete.

Amazing stay, would definitely recommend! The view was breathtaking and the house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The pool was the highlight of the trip and we spent a lot of time in the garden as it was really relaxing. We didn’t hire a car but the taxis to neighbouring towns were really cheap. Maria was a great host and was super flexible with our needs - communication was great. Would love to stay again

We had a great stay at Michalis'! The location of the property is ideal, with beautiful views and a quiet environment. Michalis and his son welcomed us warmly, even though we arrived a little later because we had taken the more beautiful route through the city of Rethymno. A carafe of raki and chilled water were waiting for us as a welcome – a very nice gesture from Michalis. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the Cretan sea and surrounded by chickens, ducks, cats and the friendly dog Bruno. Our son was thrilled and would have liked to take all the animals with him! The house itself is large, cozy and perfectly equipped and we felt completely comfortable. Michalis' father even surprised us with fresh eggs, a really loving touch. Overall, this place is a place to relax and enjoy. We will be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

This is a nice place to settle for a few days. Nearby restaurants. Beautiful views. I'd be happy to go back.

The accommodation is of very high quality. Everything is spotlessly clean and it is very spacious and comfortable. The outside is incredible and the photos can’t do it justice. The patio is really comfortable as is the outside dining / bbq area as is the grassy lawned area. A lot of choice as how you want to relax. The nearby beaches are great and there are lots of places to eat nearby. We very much enjoyed Chania which is a short distance away. We drove there but the bus stop is only a couple of minutes walk away from Sandy’s place. We plan to visit Crete again and we will definitely be looking to book Sandy’s Boutique when we do.

This place was perfect. It is in a great location, spacious and clean. The host was very responsive and helpful. Like the other reviews mentioned, the parking spot is very tight, you have to be a confident driver and highly recommend having a smaller car.

Very charming accommodation in the heart of Chania‘s historical center. 2 min away from the Venetian harbour.

We stayed at Nikos's place from 10/6-10/12. The sea view was great. In the evening we heard the sea rushing. 2 minutes to the beach. The water was clear and pleasant 25°. There were not many people on the beach, a pleasant atmosphere. The island offers many attractions, the old town of Rethymno is worth a trip alone. The prices are ok. The Greeks are nice and hospitable. Nikos was on hand when we had an issue. Very friendly and helpful. We recommend this place👍. Regine and Heike from Germany🙋🙋.

If you love a vacation off the beaten track, away from the crowds of tourist resorts... this is your place. The house is located in a small village attached to the rock with stunning views of the Rokka gorge. The terrace you'll share with other guests is perfect for enjoying breakfast or an aperitif. Be aware that there are cats that come looking for food... for those with allergies... Marianna provided us with food for the first night and was always responsive to any questions or problems. Rokka is the ideal place to explore the beaches of the northwest of the island and Chania. The southwest beaches are at least an hour's drive away. We're taking beautiful memories with us Thank you.

We had a lovely but short stay at Valia’s very spacious apartment for our family of 5. The wrap around balcony was a treat and the rooms stayed cold and dark to allow us to sleep off our jet lag. Nice and close to old town Chania and lots of spots nearby for coffee/wine and pastry!

We had amazing few days staying here. The apartment is beautiful and clean, in a great location, out of the way enough from the busy centre but just a short few minute walk to Chania town centre and the beach. Would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Anastasia’s apartment is really nice, the view is amazing, and the surrounding neighbourhood is peaceful perfect for a peaceful trip.

The place is quite clean and quiet. It is located the top floor and the ocean view from the room is wonderful. It has sufficient kitchen equipment, large living and bed rooms. A free parking spot is close by. I recommend this place.

From the start, Sia and her husband were very warm and welcoming. At check-in, they walked us through the apartment, which looked exactly like the photos. The view is fantastic from the front balcony. Everything was very clean. Loved that there were electronic blinds for most windows. We rented a car and there was a parking spot available for us in Sia's garage. We did find the bed a bit too hard for our tastes (to each their own!), and we sometimes had trouble with the wifi dropping in the main bedroom. Overall, we loved Sia's place and would stay there again!
