Fantastic views, very clean, incredibly helpful host with great recommendations. We were so sad to leave!

We loved staying here. We could walk into Kalyves and visit the beach, cafes and tavernas. We're used to walking so didn't find it far. The pool was so lovely, and the kitchen had all we needed. The views were magnificent, and it was great to see the mountains and the sea. Lots to do in the area - Aptera ruins, Kalyves Cruise at sunset, Chania, Lake Kourmas...Would love to stay again - a beautiful place in a lovely part of Crete.

A magical villa and environment! Such a wonderful host too, who made a lovely meal for our arrival even though it was after midnight! Quality in the whole villa and the pool area with breathtaking views! Four beautiful bedrooms with luxury en-suites meant no guest felt deprived. We feel restored and rejuvenated! Thank you for such a lovely holiday, I thoroughly recommend to all!

Nikos and Joanna were excellent hosts. Clear instructions of how to find the villa and greeted us on arrival. The villa is immaculate, very high end finish and the surrounding area is stunning. Close to both Chania and the Marina, both worth a visit. We have had a brilliant time with the family and will definitely be back again!

We stayed for 1 week (4adults and 4 kids) having been to Crete a number of times before. The villa was up in the hills (you need to hire a car to get anywhere and driving on the small lanes is not for the faint hearted) but this gave us the beautiful views over the bay and a lovely sea breeze. The house was immaculate with all the essentials and mod cons including chilled filtered water from the fridge. The ice machine didn’t work so one of the team popped around with a big bag of ice the next day which we used instead. We also experienced a sandstorm (happens about once a year) with Saharan sand being deposited on everything. The cleaners were around the next morning and the pool was cleaned beautifully. The pool itself was heated to a lovely temperature so the kids could enjoy it all day and the hot tub was even warmer so the perfect place to sit and enjoy drinks. We used the outdoor built in barbecue and sat outside for dinners (great views). Karolina was very responsive! Recommend!

We had the most wonderful stay at Nimar Villas. We were a group of 7 and all agreed that it was a beautiful villa and had an incredible week. The view and sunsets are breathtaking, everything looks exactly like the photos if not better. Great host, made sure we had everything we needed and super responsive. Location is great but you must have a car if planning to leave the villa often. Would highly recommend and would love to return already!

Oasis in nature, gorgeous villa with a pool overlooking the sea and hills. We absolutely loved our stay! The house is beautifully decorated, well equiped, there is everything you might need and really comfy bed :-) We loved the pool that has an amazing view. We enjoyed different seating options - 2 terrases, armchairs by the pool, or in shade under the tree.. Nikos and Maria are absolutely adorable! They made sure we had everything we needed. They even bought toys for our kids to play with and prepare new toys for the pool. You feel completely in the nature, in the hills, but you are still 2min from the main road to go places. We will definitely come back!!! :-)

Wonderful Experience at the Villa Elias! Our stay at the villa was perfect. The sea view was breathtaking, especially during sunset – a true sense of calm, quiet, and complete privacy. Choosing this villa was an excellent decision, especially because of the heated pool, which the kids absolutely loved. They enjoyed both swimming and playing in the spacious garden. The villa is well-equipped, with many useful items that made our stay very comfortable, including an air pump for pool toys. The location is also great – close to shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies. Beatiful view and nice downstairs appartment with own pool and yard. Parking lot had always room for our car. From parking lot there are deep stairs down to the appartments yard. We came late in evening and it was little bit difficult to get in without light on the appartment door. Pool was great for swimming and view fo Chania and sea bay just amazing. If you have lot of electronic devices with you, take a power strip with you. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet during our stay in April. Really nice place to relax and enjoy life.

Book this Airbnb. Do not think twice. Nice to be greeted with wine and snacks after the flight over. 3 styles of coffee makers with coffee. Sugar, spices, olive oil and balsamic to get you started. 4 bedroom 3 full baths. Great living and cooking areas. Very spacious for our group of 7. Clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything you could ask for. We made a few terrific meals with the grill and kitchen equipment. Harilao has put a lot of thought and planning in to his home. Gorgeous outdoor space with heated pool. Indoors is clean and uncluttered. The views are lovely. 1 minute on walk up the street to fresh bread daily and cute market. 3 minute walk down the street is a bigger market. 4 minute walk to my favorite beach. 8 Euro for 2 chairs and an umbrella. Bar right there if you want a drink. Walk to coffee, pastries, restaurants and bars near by. We loved the home and beach so much that we slipped a few day trips. 5 stars. I hope to come back! The villa was absolutely stunning and had been designed with such an eye for detail. The villa was also immaculate and cleaned regularly throughout our stay. The villa itself had everything you could possibly want, the pool and hot tub were exceptional and the facilities were just as pictured. The games room was a particular favourite of ours. The host was also fabulous! He met us upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. Providing everything we needed to get settled as well as for our little one! We cannot wait to stay again! We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful and private villa with a truly spectacular ocean view. The perfect setup for our extended family (6 adults and 2 small children), offering plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The bedrooms were comfortable with en suite bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook at home. The kids especially loved the pool and all the toys available. We enjoyed local meals at Maxis Yard (a charming spot in the nearby village with pottery and homemade food) and Fisalida, which has a stunning ocean view. Both within walking distance. Grocery shopping was easy with both Lidl and the village shops close by. Our host went above and beyond—meeting us for check-in during Easter holiday and even doing grocery shopping for us beforehand as everything was closed. He surprised us with homemade dinner of delicious moussaka and Greek salad, which made us feel so welcomed. We left feeling relaxed and very tempted to return one day.

The house is simply gorgeous. Our family had a wonderful Christmas holiday here. The host was very generous with items in the refrigerator and a well stocked kitchen. Lots of recommendations of places to eat in the area. Michael met us in the driveway upon arrival and showed us everything in the house, that was very kind. Especially loved access to the washer and dryer because we were traveling with kids. It was too cold to use the pool, but if you are here when it is warm, it would be such delight.

A truly unique villa, the views are spectacular and the villa is absolutely stunning. The garden was full of butterfly’s and we picked our own figs, grapes, limes, peppers and tomatoes. The pool was a huge highlight, beautifully designed with both shade and sun. The location of the villa is perfect, both mountain and sea views, very peaceful and there were plenty of lovely places to eat within a 10/15 minute drive. Kostas and his family were really lovely and very helpful. This really is the perfect place to stay.

We enjoyed our time spent in Villa Konaki, it was very well equipped and immaculately clean. Dimitris was the perfect host who responded to any issues instantly. Restaurants in Almyrida visited were superb and good value for money.

Absolutely love this villa❤︎ the host is great and friendly, beautiful surroundings, it was very clean when I came here, felt welcomed, got help from them. The interior design is very nice and the space is very comfortable. The best part is the outdoor area with a real breathtaking sea view ! Absolutely convenient to have restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. I recommend this place! 5 stars from me

We had a wonderful week at Virginie’s house. The location is spectacular with views over the mountains and olive groves. Totally private, we felt like we were in our own world during our stay. The house is well designed and tastefully decorated with a well equipped kitchen. Virginie was very helpful and responsive with any questions. We were sad to leave and head home. If you’re thinking of booking, do it! A really special place.

I cannot recommend this beautiful villa highly enough. We had a wonderful week long stay and it felt like home from home. The villa is very private, set back from the road and has the most stunning view and surroundings. It is very well equipped, and we had everything we needed. The pool is absolutely amazing - our children practically lived in it! There is also the dining area and sofa under the veranda, where you can relax in the afternoon heat and take in the amazing views. Mike was an exceptional host - he was very responsive and helpful and gave us lots of tips of places to visit and restaurant recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa is located a short drive from Almyrida, which has a beautiful beach and several fantastic restaurants that are right on the sea front - amazing views when enjoying your evening meal. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we definitely hope to return one day!

Nikos was an excellent host! He brought us fresh goodies and made sure we had everything needed. The home is beautiful and exactly has pictured. I recommend renting a car if you stay here as it is quite desolate location and not walkable to restaurants/shops.

We all had a fab holiday staying in this villa. The air con was most welcome in every room and the pool was gorgeous. Both neighbours sharing the pool were also friendly, although we often had the pool to ourselves. Whilst you don’t need a car (we didn’t for first few days), a car does make it easier getting to beaches. Annie was really helpful and gave us some recommendations. Lake Kournas is a must. All in all, I’d recommend Annie’s Villa and Plaka/Almyrida as a lovely family holiday base. Cheers, Gareth, Kay, Zac and Ava
