Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Alcácer do Sal

We loved our stay at Gonçalo's place. Beautiful, tranquil and chic, the space was the perfect hideaway for our vacation in Comporta. Close to all the beaches, restaurants and everything the area has to offer. The large, lofty and airy space is tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork, lovely furniture and small touches. The large eating and many sitting areas inside and out offered lots of options to lounge, relax, read a book or nap. Notably, Gonçalo is a cool and interesting guy. He gave us insider recommendations for hidden beaches we would have never discovered on our own. A special treat was Gonçalo's assistant Inês who made our stay incredible. She welcomed us warmly, took care of small requests, offered advice on local restaurants, and even hand picked fresh fruits and vegetables from the garden! Thank you Inês for making us feel at home! Highly recommend staying here if your looking for a chic and designer space in Comporta.

Een echt home away from home. Van alle gemakken voorzien, ons zoontje van 2 heeft enthousiast gespeeld met de fietsjes en in het zwembad. Het is mooier dan de foto's! Het dorpje Grândola is precies leuk om een dag lekker rond te lopen, koffie te drinken, mooie winkeltjes te kijken. Het huis is natuurlijk al iets ouder, maar dat heeft zijn charme. Bedankt voor het fijne verblijf!

Beautiful outdoor space that both the adults and children in our group enjoyed daily for the duration of our stay. The owners were friendly and responded efficiently to all our queries.

Central, clean, spacious, quiet and worth every penny. 4 minute drive from 1 of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. Our stay was fantastic. The hosts went above and beyond. Truly grateful

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had a lovely stay here despite dreadful weather! Ed was an amazing host, very fast at replying and great recommendations for restaurants which were all fab. House is in a lovely position and you feel very private once inside, its close to the rice paddy fields and you can walk to the beach which is a bonus. This is a lovely area with a beautiful beach but there is quite a bit of construction going on close by which is a shame. The noise didn't disturb us at all as it was up in the hills. The beach is quite wild but really lovely and has great restaurants & bars to watch the sunset. We wanted to surf but the waves wernt right here for our week but we found an amazing beach down the coast to surf so there are always options if you hire a car. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa da Falesia. We were welcomed to the house by Renato and his wife. They were extremely helpful, explaining all the house details and giving us advice about the surroundings, places to visit, where to eat (we went 3 times to Tia Rosa) and buy essentials . The house is fully equipped, and even if there is no air conditioning, it kept cool and comfortable the whole stay, even if the temperatures outside were quite high (32C). The beach is three minutes away, by walk, accessible by a stair that goes down an amazing cliff, resembling a star wars scenery. The location was perfect for us, as it allow us to do some birding excursions at the trails of Lagoa de Sto André, and to the bird observation tower at Praia de Melides. It’s also close to Comporta, where you can find some nice designer shops (even if quite expensive), and Troia, where you can find a beautiful beach, where swimming is less challenging. We do hope to return one day.

Samen met mijn vrouw, broer en ouders zijn we een week in de Airbnb van Lawrence gebleven en het was echt een hele relaxte week. Communicatie met Lawrence ging soepel, binnenkomst via een sleutelkastje handig, het huis was brandschoon en vooral heel erg ruim, groen en rustig. Alles is aanwezig, er stonden wat lokale lekkernijen bij aankomst en we konden de laatste dag tot 15 ipv 10 uur blijven. Het was de perfecte locatie voor een relaxte week. We hebben veel buiten gezeten, gebarbequed en gezwommen. Het huis is volledig privé en heeft een fenomenaal uitzicht. Eén van de beste airbnbs, een aanrader!

We had such a wonderful stay at Gerald’s place! We visited in late September so the area seemed much quieter than I imagine the height of summer is but it was probably better for us as we wanted peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we got! The air bnb is exactly like the pictures, so beautiful inside which some really nice design features and beautiful/authentic decorations - the kitchen and bathroom were perfect, great bed and the pool and outside areas that come with the property are unmatched we couldn’t have asked for more! The reception team that look after your check in/check out were so lovely and we received a gift basket when we arrived with local wine/produce which we weren’t expecting so it was a really nice surprise. Really helpful during our stay too when we accidentally locked ourselves out! The area is so beautiful and although you defo need a car it only makes exploring more fun, we can’t wait to come back to Comporta and would 100% stay again!

Refúgio maravilhoso para passar alguns dias. A cerca de 30 minutos das praias da Comporta e arredores, a casa oferece muita paz e tranquilidade. O espaço é pequeno mas acolhedor, com uma casa de banho espaçosa e uma cozinha pronta para pequenas refeições. A Catarina e a família são muito prestáveis e simpáticos estando sempre ao dispor para melhorar a nossa estadia. Gostámos muito!

Spacious apartment, well furnished, really well equipped kitchen. Beautiful view of the river and downtown Alcácer from the living room window. Easy parking nearby, walkable distance from the city center. Really good place, the only thing that would make it better would be having AC

Amazing stay in Comporta. The apartment is great and had everything we needed. Linda was such a lovely host and brought us books and toys for our 1.5 year old. Beautiful secluded location. Easy drive into Comporta and access to a stunning private beach. Wish we could have stayed longer - thanks Linda.

Die Wohnung war schön sauber und groß. Und sehr ruhig. Positiv war auch der Spielplatz draußen für unsere Kinder. Die Lage war auch Top viele Restaurants und Bars und Einkauf Möglichkeiten in der nähe. Die Stadt Alcacer do Sal ist auch sehr schön. Und nicht weit entfernt von sehr sehr schönen Stränden. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Nur im Badezimmer sollte man einen Vorhang oder die Fenster mit Folie zu kleben damit man nicht rein schauen kann. Ansonsten Top Wohnung. Empfehle es auf jeden Fall weiter

endroit exceptionnel, nous avons été très bien reçu et l'ensemble des prestations dépassaient largement ce qui est représenté par les photos. Nous avons trouvé très facilement grace aux bonnes indications, Miguel est un hôte particulièrement sympathique et accueillant. pas de soucis pour la voiture qui est garée sur la propriété. nous avons été vraiment très bien avec superbe vue au coucher du soleil ☀️, on a pu discuter avec lui malgré le barrage de la langue, bref c'était merveilleux

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour chez Maria. La maison est très belle, très bien disposée pour 9 personnes. Beaucoup de charme et une belle ambiance. On s'y est sentis très bien. Le village est très beau, plutôt calme. Les premières commodités sont accessibles à pieds. La piscine municipale est parfaite après une journée d'excursions dans les environs. La communication avec Maria a été fluide. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Great location to stay at - we had a hire car and it was easy to get to from Lisbon and to visit the surrounding regions. Clean, safe, good bed/ shower. In Jan/ Feb, the room was a bit cold even with the two portable heaters, as there’s no radiators in the room and the oven supplied was not the most effective.

Vi blev mødt af et værtspar med en venlighed, imødekommenhed og hjælpsomhed, som man kan forvente af nære venner eller familie. Huset var istandsat udvendigt og indvendigt af en indretningskunstner (Marcel). Vi har haft et uforglemmeligt ophold, og kan på det varmeste anbefale stedet.

A casa da Carolina é exactamente como aparece nas fotografias. O jardim é optimo. A Carolina é muito simpática e disponível. A casa está muito bem remodelada, as casas de banho são optimas. Recomendo e quero voltar

Ivo ist ein äußerst freundlicher und kommunikativer Gastgeber. Ich bin erst sehr spät angekommen und hatte zudem Schwierigkeiten mit dem Mietwagen, Ivo war in dieser Situation unglaublich hilfsbereit. Der Check-in war dank des Videos, das er mir im Vorfeld geschickt hatte, selbst um 23 Uhr völlig unkompliziert. Außerdem hat er mir kurzfristig noch Restaurants empfohlen, in denen ich so spät abends noch essen konnte. Die Unterkunft ist geräumig, ruhig und bietet viel Privatsphäre. Das Zentrum von Comporta ist in nur fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch die Sauberkeit war tadellos, und die Ferienwohnung war mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wer die Region rund um Comporta erkunden möchte, sollte unbedingt ein Auto einplanen. Ich werde in den kommenden Jahren auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
