Vacation rentals with lake access in Albula/Alvra

Our group of 4 had a wonderful stay at the window to the lake. Beautiful views also to the surrounding Tremezzo and mountains along with a very comfortable stay. We travelled to other locations on Lake Como and even had a night in cooking dinner and drinking wine from the local market. Thanks to Elena E Mara for a great stay!

This place is amazing. The property is big with all the amenities and a great garden. The 3 bathrooms make the stay very convenient. It is located very close to the lake and lucerne city center. The owner, Giuseppe, is friendly, provided all needed instructions and set up the cot for us. There is also one parking spot available. Definitely a great stay in Lucerne.

Everything was perfect, very clean, comfortable The kitchen is very well equipped. And our favorite place is the balcony with an extraordinary view! A nice neat apartment, you feel very good. Thank you for these hours of happiness!

Right in front of the lake.. Has a little patio where you can have your coffee. Peaceful. has a dual heater and a/c unit that works great for quick temperature changes.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and inviting. The water pressure and hot water were excellent, and the bed was super comfy. The views were absolutely amazing and made our mornings and evenings extra special. The location was perfect, just a short, easy drive into central Menaggio. Riccardo was an incredibly friendly and responsive host, which made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Amazing host and a breathtaking view. Too bad we couldn't use the pool due to cold windy weather but had an amazing time with family and kids. with only 10 min drive to local attractions and ferry. I would highly recommend this Michele and his property.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Stephen was very responsive and was quick to help us with a family emergency that we had. The accomodations of the home was exactly as desribed. The washer, dryer and all of the amenities were easy to use. We enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was while still being close to restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend this place. Stephen was an excellent host.

Paola met us for check in and was extremely helpful from the moment we booked the trip even after checkout when our plane ride to Milan cancelled last minute she helped us find new transportation. The space is beautiful and close to everything!

Wonderful stay and the view is amazing. The hosts are proactive and went extra mile to ensure not only my stay at their place but also the visit to Varenna is comfortable. They even went out of way to inform me that the trains are not working on the day of my vacating and in case I plan to leave Varenna, they suggested alternate modes and booking details. Very responsive, and kind to respond to me even at 11 pm in the night. The place is clean and cute with all you may need for a great stay. The bed is comfortable. The cute note they shared while vacating, and a beautiful handwritten“thank you “ note sealed the deal for me ❤️

Apartment was perfect and Fabio was a wonderful host!! Very proactive and responsive, especially with information about the train closing on the day that we were planning on leaving and how to adjust!

Beautiful location! The lake is a stunning view and it felt calm & peaceful. The home was accurate to pictures and the boat ride into town was just right outside the door! Jonathan was so helpful and provided all the answers we needed. Would definitely book again!

The AirBnb was the first stop of the trip within our Italy trip. We stayed there for three nights and were completely satisfied with the accommodation. Although it is about 10 minutes' walk from the restaurants and cafés, we did not find this to be a problem, as the path was very idyllic. The place provided us with everything we needed and was a very good choice. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place on Lake Como.

This place was unforgettable, and Elena’s recommendations were amazing!

The location of the cottage was as wonderful as the pictures suggest, you're far enough from the waters edge to have a sprawling view, and close enough that nothing interrupted the view. Cinzia was very responsive and helpful and the added touches (pastries/wine) were much appreciated. Nesso is beautiful little spot, it can get reasonably busy because of the waterfall and the road from Como to Bellagio is rarely quiet (although we couldn't hear it from the bungalow). Be prepared for some hilly steps though, we clocked up 110 floors of climbing one day (for info, the Twin Towers were also 110 floors!). We found and Cinzia recommended a wonderful restaurant called Il Briisa which we would go back to in a heartbeat. The food, wine, service and ambience were all spot on. Overall, fantastic, it was a surprise break for my wife's 40th birthday and it delivered perfectly.

the accommodation is sufficiently large with one bedroom, one living room, a small kitchen and bathroom. the location is fantastic with a view of the lake and a small beach is also in the immediate vicinity:) the place was clean and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary kitchen utensils. we will be happy to come back

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!

We were in the cottage last week, had perfect weather. The lakeside location.... what can we say. Fantastically beautiful. Nestled in nature and close to Zurich. Great location! Phil, a host like no other. Attentive, friendly, respectful of privacy. Charming. Even provided us with a stand-up paddle. All in all, we had a wonderful time. We will be happy to come back. It was a fantastic vacation. The place is even more beautiful than the images show—a perfect location for relaxation. The house has a boat to get around (restaurants and food shopping). Before we came, we thought getting around with a ship would be difficult, but it became the vacation's star and made everything magical. We used it several times each day and had so much fun. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Mattia was excellent and responsive. His dad even came around to show us how to fish. Couldn't have asked for more from a host. Highly recommend 5/5 on all accounts,

What an AMAZING stay! The cottage is exactly as described and pictured, but the pictures on the listing simply don't do justice to the true beauty and views you will experience here! We spent 3 days here after a cruise and it was the perfect location to unwind and slow down! We enjoyed sitting on the terrace as the best part of our trip to Lake Como! Sara is incredibly helpful and gave us some recommendations even before we arrived! And you MUST make the short walk down the hill to Riverside Snackbar (her family restaurant!) to eat and take in the views! The cottage was the perfect place for us to stay. Perfectly located outside of Bellagio and the crowds. Close to a local market. Yet still close enough to go into Bellagio and ferry around to other villages for the day! We hope to get to return someday as this may have become our favorite place in the world!!
