The Cottage is located in the bottom of fjord Ólafsfjörður, in the mountains. It has two bedrooms, a living room and a private geothermal hot tub in a garden-in-house area, that can be opened up to the terrace. The cottage is well equipped (fully equipped kitchen & washer), a new WIFI for guests to use, and has new quality mattresses made up with comfortable linen, soft towels and warm blankets. The area is extremely peaceful. In the backyard is a heated football court and a playground for kids.

PLEASE NOTICE: The island is located in the northern part of Iceland. It is a five-hour drive from Reykjavik. And you need to take a ferry to get there. No cars, pedestrians only. The ferry departs from the fishing port of Árskógssandur every two hours and only takes 15 mins.

It's a quiet and a friendly place where family and friends can have wonderful time together. A restaurant Verbúðin66 is near by and a grocery store Hríseyjarbúðin. There is a hot-tub on the patio and also there is a swimming-pool on the island. You’ll love our place because of the coziness, the location, the views, and the people.

Hi. We have a vacation cottage for rent at a farm near Akureyri. Distance to Akureyri is 20min driving. The cottage is located on our farmland and we live in the farmhouse about 800m away up the hill. We do not farm livestock but there might be the occasional sheep grazing the fields. Guests are welcome to pick mushroom on the land and august is prime blueberry season and you can pick blueberries right outside the cottage.
