Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Akureyri

What a beautiful place to stay. A lot of care and thought has gone into the house, and our hosts could not have been more friendly and responsive. Thank you Ólöf and Ægir, we had a great Christmas in Ólafsfjörður!

We are family of 4. The house is very clean with amazing views. We have everything we need here. Bathroom is clean and warm. We cooked quite often and the kitchen utensils are of high quality. This is one of the top3 Air B&B we have ever stayed for the last 10years we travel around. Thank you Agusta for sharing this house .

Very nice house in a peaceful area, illuminated in the evening The kitchen was fine and the bedrooms on the same floor too, the sofa bed very comfortable Has the washing machine and a very convenient dryer, all the spices and condiments needed In addition, Margret was ready to change the check-in dates at her listing due to bad weather and our uncertainty to arrive on the right day. The only small problem is the bedroom which is in the basement, very wet Other than that we had a great time at Margret's place

We loved our stay in the villa! The property was beautiful, with trails leading to fantastic views of water and wildlife. It is also well located in connection with Húsavík. The reception area and the villa itself were under a bit of renovation when we were there, so there were some tiny inconveniences (e.g., not all burners on the stove seemed to ignite and there weren't quite enough dishes and utensils to seat our group of ten people for a meal), but the owners were super responsive to our needs--even to the point of buying a brand new grill for our enjoyment! And there are also very interesting art and book collections in the villa. Of the six places our group has stayed this summer in Iceland, the villa was by far their favorite. We are already planning our next stay!

The host was really helpful and nice to talk with. Whole house was stylish and beautiful. The view was outstanding. The kitchen is perfect even with air fried.

We loved our one night stop over in our journey around the Ring Road. The apartment had everything we needed and the bed was so comfortable. The view from the private balcony was spectacular. Our host was very friendly and helpful with all communications. And when we got a little lost finding the apartment, he was very responsive to help guide us. We wish we had more time here in beautiful Siglufjörður. We hope to be back.

Beautiful location - plus we were lucky enough to see northern lights right there! Place was as described, very comfortable, easy drive to downtown Akureyri. We had a wonderful time - thank you!

Stayed here for (unfortunately only) one night with a group of six people. Lovely house, very clean and with everything you need. Enjoyed every second of it. Four people could sleep upstairs and two downstairs with two separate bathrooms. Two minutes walking distance from village centre, port and Hering museum. And a beautiful view over the city and the fjord. Big recommendation! :)

We spent 11 days in this cosy apartment and really recommend staying here. It is located in a quiet and beautiful area close to Akureyri. The beds were comfortable and we had everthing we needed. Anna and her team were always very friendly and helpful. Our daughters enjoyed the horse back riding very, very much. We would like to come back again.

Clear and easy instructions to get to the apartment, and what to do when leaving the apartment. Proactive communication and responsive. The apartment is spacious and centrally located. I appreciated that it also had access to a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen was fully equipped.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic. We loved the house and it eas wonderful having the hot tub each evening. The Hestasport team was fabulous at answerig questions on the rettir and helping arrange activities. In 4 days we went horseback riding, helped with a aheeo sirting, went whitewater rafting, explored the area, and ate at seceral fantadtic local restaurants. The hotel steos away from our house serves amazing food. Every part of this stay was wonderful. We highly recommend!

Even though the weather did not cooperate with our plans on this trip, having Soffia’s cozy apartment to come back to saved the day. This is one of the cleanest Air BNB’s we have ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the shower piping hot! There is a wonderful museum in Akureyri that has an amazing collection of maps and we loved Kaffi Ilmur for the delicious soups and pastries. Unfortunately we did not get to go whale watching because the weather was poor, but we can definitely recommend Baccala for the fish and chips! Soffia is an amazing host. She responded quickly to messages and was very, very thoughtful. We look forward to returning and cannot recommend Soffia’s cozy apartment enough.

Our stay was lovely! The host was very responsive, the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything we might need, and the location was walkable to downtown!

We had a great stay in Akureyri! The house was cozy, well located and clean. We enjoyed the location and the spaciousness as we baked in an extra day for rest here, and it was worth it. Would definitely recommend.

This Airbnb in Akureyri was a great choice, as it was close to the centre and the interior was really nice (furnished with wooden mid-century furniture, which was a big plus for me). Helga, our host was very friendly and helpful, she recommended great restaurants, we tried one of them, and had a top notch experience.

If I could give more stars for location, I would. Definitely go the the public pool a short walk away. The people are so friendly and there are 2 awesome water slides (one is referred to by local kids as the toilet bowl, you'll see why in a fun way). This is a bottom floor apartment which seems very new. The apartment was quiet and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The bed was comfy. The Northern lights were amazing. Probably the best place we stayed in Iceland and a good value.

Perfect accommodation for families with children. The apartment was nice and clean, and our 4 year old was so happy to be able to play with the stuff available. Great to be able to relax in the hot tub. Highly recommend this property!

The place was newly restored, perfectly furnished to accommodate guests. There is a kitten that welcomes visitors and can be cuddled. Anna's house is comfortable and convenient as a base camp to explore the surroundings. The kitchen provides everything you need to make food. Spaces are best suited for a family with children. We were 4 adults and we still managed to divide the spaces without too much trouble.

This was by far the best place we stayed during our visit to Iceland. The unit was nicely equipped from the kitchen to the linens. Location was walkable to dinner and local shopping. We were even able to walk to the docks for our whale watching excursion. Our only driving was to the Forest Lagoon hot springs (highly recommend them, we went twice)

absolutely loved this amazing place. The condo is clean and quiet the island is beautiful. the hosts are so incredibly nice and accommodating. my only regret is not staying longer.

It is very difficult to get someone to offer you their own house for your stay, and for one night only. Andri and his family do it. It is unbelievable. As amazing is their beautiful home. Magnificent, beautiful, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It doesn't deserve 5 points out of 5, it deserves 10 out of 5. Pity that on a trip around Iceland you have to rush to see the sites and can't enjoy the house for a few hours awake, having a drink on the beautiful terrace. Extraordinary. More than recommended.
