“We had a great stay! The location is easy to find and walking distance to many local attractions. Maria provides great local ideas and Iceland facts/tips that were very helpful to two people from the US. We felt safe and secure during our stay, even with shared spaces. Thanks for a great stay and we hope to be back! Audrey and Mark, NYC.”
Apt. has been fully renovated and all the furniture is new. It is located right downtown in walking distance to everything. There is a grocery store within a 2 minute walk and 2 central bus stations within 5 minutes. Looking forward to hosting you!
“My husband and I just returned from a four night stay in Reykjavik. We loved the location of this apartment—it’s right across the street from the most delicious bakery, Braud & Co, and within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, and shopping venues. The heated bathroom floors were a special treat and the water pressure in shower was great. The apartment had all the essentials we needed for our short stay—refrigerator, hair dryer, European adapters, toiletries, etc. We can’t wait to make a return trip!”
Enjoy the culture of Iceland just outside your apartment at the main street Laugavegur. This is the perfect apartment for the exploring tourist of Reykjavik! As the apartment is facing the garden, it is quite quiet. The apartment is situated in the basement and entered from the back yard, late check-in is no problem. The laundry room is located in a common hall. Your private kitchen is also entered from the hall. The host lives in the building and rents out rooms in his apartment upstairs.
“The place is located in the heart of Reykjavik, but away from the noisy street. Fast replies from Ásdís in case of questions, very accessible, and easy self-check-in. A perfect little retreat for a solo traveler or a pair, after a day exploring the capital and beyond.”
