Oyado Aburari, the closest to Kansai Airport, an inn of Japanese merchants full of Japanese atmosphere (same price for up to 3 people)

English: I stayed in a stunning 200-year-old machiya (traditional townhouse) with a Japanese garden near Kansai Airport with friends, and it was absolutely beautiful 🥺! Every corner was filled with Japanese charm, and I fell in love at first sight. The host was incredibly warm and attentive. Not only did they give us handcrafted accessories made by the hostess, but they also brought us ice cream in the evening. During the room tour upon check-in, Mr. Mino showed me around every part of the house while explaining details—every arrangement was thoughtfully considered, making me feel truly cared for. When checking out, I even got to meet the adorable Apollo 🥰.

10 minutes from Hikone Castle (by car)/up to 7 people/1 hour from Kyoto/entire house rental/free parking for 2 regular sized cars + 1 small car

A great apartment that's easy to find and get inside. It's not that close to the castle nor the station, but there are a lot of restaurants around. The rooms were spacious and clean, though the shower head was fairly low. Would recommend!

This is an authentic traditional home in Kyoto. We fell in love with the place, surroundings and Kyoto! There are bikes to ride. An easy city to ride bikes around. We couldn’t have asked for a better place/location. Love!❤️

The Japanese atmosphere of the old house was pleasant, and it was a nice place to stay where you can get away from everyday life and spend a peaceful time. The bath is outside the main house, but there is a space where you can relax on the bench while feeling the outside air, and it makes you feel like you are having a luxurious time. The Shigaraki bathtub was also very comfortable, and it automatically heated and reheated the water, so I was able to relax and enjoy it stress-free both morning and evening. The warm personality of the couple was also nice, and the meal we had for lunch was very delicious with a gentle taste using special ingredients. The night market was held during our stay, and we were able to experience the warmth of the townspeople and the local atmosphere while visiting the stalls. It was a quiet and rich time, and a stay that was healed by the warmth of the people. This is a highly recommended inn for those who have the opportunity to come to this area. Would love to visit again.

A great stay, the host was very attentive in all aspects, and many small items after check-in greatly improved our stay. The Host was also very nice and gave us tips for nearby tours and restaurants (unfortunately, the restaurant was not open for renovation haha). It rained the day we went, and watching the rain quietly in front of the house is a rare thing.Overall an awesome experience!

I used it as a place to stay for a company off-site event.First of all, the view is great. In addition, the facilities were well equipped and cleaned, and we had a comfortable stay.We came with 16 people this time, but there was plenty of space. Not only did they handle the check-in and check-out, but they also handled the pre-arrangements smoothly. It was a great memory. I'd love to stay there again.
