We have been building and tinkering for a long time, and now it is finished: Our vacation chalet in the middle of the most beautiful Bavarian Forest. A cottage where we like to vacation ourselves: a large living room with a comfortable couch, cozy corner bench and a fully equipped kitchen. Solid wood beds from the carpenter with premium mattresses. Two spacious bathrooms with rain showers and a sauna for the gray days. And in summer, a large garden with mountain views, sun loungers and a grill all to yourselves.

We offer a rustic farmhouse, built in 1834 in the Bavarian Forest, with everything you need for a great vacation. Bookable for 5 or more people. We have lots of horses, big and small, and dogs. Great excursion destinations around the house. Quietly situated forester's house for 2 families

We love to welcome you in our former spacious forester's house. We are a Dutch family with 3 children who bought the house in 2006 as a family vacation home. With a lot of love and attention we think we have created a unique spot in the quiet forests of the Czech Republic. If you love nature you will feel completely at home. Walking, cycling, mountain biking, you are in the middle of it! In the summer you can enjoy the silence on the veranda and in the winter the cosines by the fireplace.

Cozy and traditional 200-years-old house

There is a big room with a fireplace, decorated with traditional furniture where you can enjoy your meals or spend cozy evenings, playing board games and drinking whine or Bavarian beer. In the kitchen next to the electric stove there is an old-fashioned kitchen oven where you can boil your tea water in a traditional way, but don`t worry, there is also an electric kettle. The house has a big garden with vegetables and fruit like strawberries, raspberries, apples and pears.

The idyllic garden with sandbox and swing is ideal for families. Franz, the host, is happy to give tips for activities. Gossersdorf is a small village with lots of charm. Beautiful hiking trails through the adjacent forest lead directly past the house, Falkenstein Castle is 7 km away. The cities of Cham, Straubing and Regensburg are about 30 minutes away. In the house, the flair of the 50s is preserved. It is idyllically located, surrounded by green and yet in the middle of the village. You can relax wonderfully, with flexible equipment for creative processes even in small groups. For guests, the 1st and 2nd floor are reserved and connected to the stairwell. On the ground floor, I have my studio rooms.

Lovingly renovated country house

The house has been converted into a vacation home and also a seminar house for yoga and similar events. It is quiet and tranquil to live indoors and outdoors. The rural surroundings invite you to walk, hike, bike, and go on excursions. Since December 2022, it has been possible to use a separate outdoor sauna for a fee, on request.
