My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! The stay truly exceeded all our expectations — it had absolutely everything we could have possibly needed! Traveling all the way from the UK, we completely forgot to bring a UK-Swiss adapter, but to our surprise and relief, one was thoughtfully provided. It’s little touches like that which make all the difference. Pavel was an exceptionally attentive and wonderful host, always ready to help and make our experience unforgettable

Our stay with Bettina was amazing! She provided local recommendations for hikes and it was a very smooth process to check in. The convenience of the grocery store across the street and bus station was also very helpful since we did not rent a car. Another plus was that the kitchen was fully stocked with plates, forks, dishes. Everything was very clean. We would stay here again.

Our stay at Nora's was excellent. The apartment keeps what it promises in the pictures. Nora is extremely friendly and provided us in advance with all the necessary information about the apartment and its use. The apartment is decorated with a lot of love, so you immediately felt comfortable. We will be happy to come back!

Book this place if you want to relax in a peaceful place. I stayed for 3 nights, but I wanted to stay for 2 more nights, and it was as comfortable as home, and the house was very spacious. I didn't have to ask the host for anything because I had everything I needed in the house. The view from the accommodation was breathtakingly beautiful, and I was very satisfied with the jacuzzi I could use while looking at the view. I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Ursula!

Had a great stay for 3 nights in May with family including a 9 year old. Its got great location, walking distance to the Mt Titlis cable car boarding station and Engelberg train station and proximity to convenience stores and restaurants. And to top it, the apartment has amazing views and privacy overlooking a wide open parking space that was nearly empty the whole time, with the snow capped mountain peaks in the background. The host has appointed the apartment really well with almost everything you could need for your stay, with spotless clean bed linen, bathroom and kitchen, a washing machine with dryer and a vaccum cleaner. He was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in Engelberg.

Unfortunately, we only stayed a few hours at Adina and her family's house. We went back to the Netherlands by car the same evening because young children could sleep in the car. The house was a very nice stopover where we could really relax. It has all the comforts, a spacious beautiful garden and beautiful views! The children enjoyed playing in the garden. Adina and her husband are very hospitable, thank you again for the delicious wine! See you soon!

Our family needed some rest and relaxation in nature with hiking trails right outside our door step. We got exactly that! What a beautiful cabin situated in the middle of the mountains at 1000m. The village of Isenthal was so picturesque. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay and wished it could have been longer. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with our family!

Janine is a very hospitable, helpful, and attentive host. Her home was spotlessly clean and gave us great peace of mind during our family stay. The location is perfect—nestled in the Alps and right by a flowing stream, we enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay. The house is equipped with everything you might need.

Regula and Sascha are absolutely lovely people and their home is a gem. Like others have wrote, they have thought about every detail from a wood-fired oven for pizzas to an herb garden to pick for meals to even pre-paying for our bus card to get around town. They were so kind to show us around their home when we checked in and explained everything we would need to know. The property is stunning and so peaceful with access to the lake for swimming or to take the ferry as well as a bus stop at the end of the street. I hope to stay in their home again and I would recommend it to anyone considering! Paradise! Wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed more sunshine. Thank you both so much!

For 6 of us, it is a great place to stay. You will not have an issue at all if you have your own transportation to go around, which is what we did during the 3 nights there. We cooked dinner for all three nights for 6 of us at the house and enjoyed the view. We have already missed this house now as we are in Interlaken for another 4 nights with a different style of Airbnb. After sharing our photos and experience of the house with my sisters, they are interested in booking the same house for their future trip to Europe.

We spent 3 nights here and we had a great time. Location is very calm and quiet, it's perfect to reach the most popular places in the region. The surrounding is very nice, you are close to the nature. In the house we had everything we needed, kitchen is very well equipped, beds are good, we could sleep well. Communication with Simone was perfect. It's good to know that the bathroom is downstairs in the basement, for us it was not a big problem. After all we could get a taste of life in the Swiss countryside.

We had a wonderful 5 days at this beautiful cabin. The name is perfect. Heimeli. Very cozy, we felt right at home. The valley is spectacular. The ski area close. U. Is great for hiking and exploring in the summer. Matthes is a great host, very friendly and helpful. We‘ll be back!

The place was clean and as described. Located in a quiet area with an amazing view, it was a peaceful and comfortable stay

It was a little expensive, but I think it's a good alternative due to the nature of the chalet, which requires a long stay. The Eiger North Wall from the kitchen was really cool, and it was really great to be close to Grindelwald Station and Coop. And the washing machine was also free (detergent needs to be brought separately), so it was useful-!

Beautiful apartment located right on the water. This was an amazing experience for my family. Had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy! We had an amazing time! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Amazing views and excellent location.

Erna and Chris was great host . They greeted us personally on our arrival . They made us so comfortable and felt home . We only stayed for a day and was a rainy day . Otherwise we could have enjoyed siting their backyard and relaxed in their swing .

It's so, so good, but a little expensive. Grindelwald Terminal (Jungfrau) was 2-3 minutes on foot. It was too much. The wind was overwhelming. It 👍👍👍👍was so good :) I think I'll go again next time. ^_^

Absolutely loved this charming house! Just an easy eight-minute walk to Täsch station, and the balcony view is stunning and so peaceful. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zermatt!
