Tiny Home in the Redwoods

WinonaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What an incredible spot! The private and peaceful surrounds make a couple days away feel a lot longer. The lovely dogs visiting, watching the turkeys roam, and sleeping to the frog chorus ... All magical. Not to mention it being a great base for exploration of the Avenue of the Giants. We are already looking forward to returning.

Pet friendly Inglenook Bungalow free gift w/stay.

What a delight this air bnb is! The hosts were kind, responsive and generous. We absolutlely loved the outdoor courtyard - the birds, fish and plants were all wonderful. The host recognized a fellow plant nerd in me and made me several cuttings from his awesome plants, along with tips to get them back to Virginia :) The outdoor area is so spacious - I would have loved coming here when my kids were little. It feels like it is *actually* kid friendly and a place you could really spread out and relax with your kids. My kids would have been entertained for hours watching the aviary, koi and running around on the giant lawn. Plus, there's a game system and a swingset! The property is truly accessible as well. Inside, the hosts have provided everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are spacious, the common area is friendly, usable and full of games, crafts, extra blankets, good coffee and yummy snacks. The location is great

Redwood Corner

Our stay was absolutely perfect!! The beautiful tiny home was cozy and extremely clean. Anaswara was so lovely and made us feel right at home with her kindness and hospitality. The surrounding nature was so serene and peaceful — it was a wonderful escape and highlight of our trip. We could not recommend this stay more, and we now know where to go when we need a little getaway!
A serene view of the Ten Mile River is presented, framed by lush greenery. Gentle ripples disturb the calm water, reflecting the surrounding trees. A sandy bank is visible, providing a natural transition to the river, with kayaks resting nearby, inviting exploration.

Otters' Den - River kayaking paradise!

KatieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
we had an amazing trip, when we arrived at the cabin we were shocked at the fact the cabin had in fact moved away from the bank where it had been at a prior trip! How awesome! we then looked over to see a Mama deer and twin baby deers playing on the other side of the river! We used the kayaks and went out to the beach, on the way out we saw a seal in the river and on the way back we saw deer swimming across the river! we saw multiple otters swim by. It was an amazing trip! One I hope to book again sometime!

Country Getaway! Views, Patio, Wood Delight.

SatarRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Lovely location in the area. Perhaps my personal favorite aspect was the background white sound of the roaring ocean. It’s a calming sound overlapped by birds calling, tree leaves rustling and coastal air moving it all around. The fragrance around the property is lovely and the home itself is well insulated and had everything you’ll need to be comfortable. We’d definitely go back. Thanks for sharing your home John and Wendy.

Amazing location, super rustic charm, great art inside, and the chickens and cat visits were a definite plus! Petra’s place is around the corner from Pour Girls Coffee, super well located to go to Humboldt, and rustic charm all around.

Forest Cottage–33 quiet acres-near beach/Mendocino

ShaynaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a great 1-night stay. Lynn and Peter were friendly and responsive hosts. The property is off the beaten path, and they provided thorough directions for getting there. We arrived late at night and they had turned on the outside lights and fireplace for us. We appreciated the snacks and drinks they provided. The bed was very comfortable and the towels super soft. A trail leading to a tranquil forest is steps away from the door. Just a note that many of the windows do not have any coverings, so you may want to bring a sleep mask. 😊
