Pilot Cove offered my family of 4 (plus dog) a wonderful experience at the doorstep to Pisgah and Brevard. Loved being close to the Hub and the food and coffee truck at the bottom of the hill were great. I enjoyed drinking an Americano from the coffee truck on my way into the Forest or after a long trail run on the Art Loeb trail. The walking trails on the property were the perfect place to walk the dog (though several downed trees cross the path). The house was simple but fit ours needs as we spent most of our time outdoors. Overall we loved Pilot Cove and will be back!

Definitely worth the money and ideal location to get in/out of park. Exactly as advertised!

The host called the day before to confirm everything with us . They also let us check in a little early and made our stay very enjoyable . The house was beautiful . The hill going down to the property and down to the lake were a little tough but it was beautiful and made it worth it all . We would stay again for sure .

The Pilot Cove cabin was a wonderful spot; we visited the Pisgah National Forest, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, and the Blue Ridge Parkway to Asheville! I highly recommend this lovely location!

Wow, a great place where you can become one with nature. You find yourself immersed in taking in the views morning, noon, and night. Pilot Cove is a peaceful community and had feel of a place tucked well into the mountains but just on the edge of town. A true favorite!

My husband and I recently stayed at Pilot Cove, seeking some much-needed relaxation and a chance to connect with nature. This retreat was everything we hoped for and more. The room was incredibly comfortable, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that made our stay truly rejuvenating. One of the highlights of our stay was the fully equipped kitchen. It was fantastic to have the option to cook our own meals, which not only added a homey feel to our stay but also helped us save money on dining out. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was a wonderful surprise. While our experience was overwhelmingly positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and the floors needed a good vacuuming. However, these were minor issues in the grand scheme of things. Overall, Pilot Cove provided us with a perfect getaway. We left feeling relaxed and reconnected with nature. We will definitely be returning and recommend it to others.

Was upset at first because they informed us the day of our arrival that the hottub broke but they were very caring and accommodated us for it and took action to fix it right away. The only thing is make sure you bring extra supplies like garbage bags, toilet paper, etc. as they only supply one of each. Also lots of geese droppings walking down to water but goes with being on a lake. Make sure you check your GPS settings so it doesn't take you backroads, learned that one. No garage so vehicle gets very hot, sunshade helps and deck is hot, no umbrella for shade to sit out at table. Overall beautiful place and Gunner was pleasant and pleasure to deal with any issues we had.

Lirio Woods was a great stay for my boyfriend and me! We appreciated the little details (i.e., pre-filled ice cube trays, laundry basket, room heaters, dryer balls for your down jackets, extra/sorted firewood, recycling bins, marked/lit parking space, etc.) that made the trip more comfortable and convenient. There were lots of helpful info cards for the amenities. The fireplace was already set up the night we checked into the stay. Although it only has a kitchenette, there were enough appliances and kitchenware to make meals and reheat leftovers--induction burner and toaster oven came in handy. The place was in a quiet location away from road noise but easy to venture into nearby towns. Thank you so much, Katie, for hosting us! Robert was very knowledgeable about the area, personable and helpful. The gallery was lovely and I even purchased a beautiful piece of art. If I’m ever in the area again I won’t hesitate to book this beautiful studio again.

Perfect location to Beech Mountain resort, past the main part of town so you don’t have to deal with the traffic. Home was perfect-exactly as pictured. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Bathrooms were updated and beautiful. My kids loved the place, as did we!

Absolutely LOVED this cozy cabin. It was everything we wanted and needed for a lovely Christmas vacay especially the fireplace. Burned a great fire all day every day during our stay. Highly recommend this private, serene forest oasis and definitely plan to go back.

Our stay was outstanding! The place was immaculately clean, it was very comfortable, my son and I enjoyed everything about Shirley’s place. Our next trip to Charlotte, we will definitely contact Shirley first to see if this location is available. I would recommend anyone to stay at this location because it was outstanding.

We loved staying here at Max’s place. The river is so calm and peaceful. The sunroom is an awesome spot to drink coffee and listen to the river and see the train go by. The hotubs are so fun and easy to use. The nearby hiking and rafting adventures are a must do. Definitely will be staying here again.

The house had breathtaking views, great outdoor seating, and a nice layout for multiple families. The kitchen was fully stocked and having fridges on both floors help maximize the time on the decks or by the fire pit. The kids loved the ping pong and shuffleboard tables! The steps to the dock were as advertised (200+) but worth it! We will be back for sure!!!

My boyfriend and I chose this place due to being in town to celebrate our 3 anniversary & we absolutely loved it! The place was secluded, but also close to everything. The home was beautiful, cozy and clean! Highly recommend!!❤️

First, the place was awesome. Much larger then the pictures portray, and had a really great feel. Beautiful land all around and there are trees that surround , making it a nice and private retreat. VIctoria, the host went above and beyond in helping me. I had went to Carolina Motorsports Park for a track day weekend and had planned on camping, long story short I forgot my tent, haha. To Airbnb I went, gladly found this listing. Victoria was very quick to respond to my messages and even gave me a call when she approved my stay. Had everything ready before I arrived. I Finished setting up at the track, was 10:20pm when I got to the house and Victoria had gotten there just before me to make sure lights were on and I could get in. She came in and showed me where light switches were and how to work a few of the things in the house. It was a nice personal touch to a last minute stay. If you are ever in the area, this is the best place to stay near Carolina Motorsports Park, period

Taylor was kind and quick to reply to inquiries. The house was in a nice location and was quiet and comfortable. We had a nice time and would stay again when visiting the area.

We had a great stay with a team of college students showing at tryon. They had so much fun playing in the creek, making fires, playing games out in the pavilion and were comfortable in the home even with a large group. We loved it

Beautiful views overlooking the Smokies, Ober Mountian Trams, and downtown Gatlinburg. Easy access to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge areas. Zack was very responsive with any needs we had throughout our stay. Instructions and recommendations were very thorough, which we were thankful for. Kids had a great time in the game room and hot tub almost every night. Cabin was well stocked and very clean. Would highly recommend staying in this cabin !!

Place was wonderful for our very large family of 13. Grandkids loved all the games and game rooms and outdoor games. Lots of space to sit and socialize inside and out.

Very convenient location near the Parkway. Close to everything. Property was exactly as described and the host was very professional.
