House vacation rentals in Western North Carolina

We loved Brevard! First time in this city and had a great time hiking all the trails within the resort. The hot tub was a nice ending to the day with beautiful sunsets. We thoroughly enjoyed the community and will be back!

Wow this place was absolutely amazing the pool and the hot tub were definitely the highlight of the stay but the house was also very homey and clean and it’s was a fun time

The condo was extremely clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The decorations and overall feel of the place is great. The pool was nice to go down and enjoy as well. The view is incredible and we spent a good bit of time out on the balcony, just enjoying the beauty and serenity. We have zero complaints and nothing but praise for the condo and hosts. We definitely plan to return! Don't be deterred by the need to use the shuttle to travel back and forth to your car. The drivers were great and the wait for them was just a couple minutes. The entire complex seems laid back, friendly, and very well maintained. Food, groceries, or entertainment is all within a few minutes drive. While our friends were sweating in Bristol at 87 degrees, we were a cool 72 up on the mountain. It is a great place to cool off and recharge in the Summer.

We had a great stay! It was a peaceful location, but not too far from the hustle and bustle of the main towns. Our kids loved the indoor pool and it was great to keep them busy during some rain!

This house was absolutely STUNNING! Every day the view was just amazing. Owners VERY responsive! Enjoyed the hot tub and unit was well equipped in kitchen and nice touch with starter supplies. We found beds comfortable and all 6 of us (adults) could find some privacy. Enjoyed the billiards and the fireplace on the balcony was the perfect backdrop to talk about our adventures. The road was a bit scary if you are afraid of heights and hairpin turns! We got more comfortable as the week went on but we were still reluctant to drive in the dark! The house was good location to Sevierville. Enjoyed Holstens for dinner. The main drag is only about a 25 minute drive. Gatlinburg was about a 35 minute drive. Smokey mountains NP about 45 mins from house . We saw 6 bears on this trip. 1 ran past us in the driveway and we got a good picture from the balcony. Be careful to lock the doors to your car! Kelly and Caleb’s vacation home was an absolute dream for our family! We had the best time and were able to enjoy some peace and quiet and we also enjoyed exploring surrounding areas. The home was cozy, clean, and peaceful.. I loved that it was family friendly!! Thank you both for allowing us to stay!

This cabin is absolutely stunning — perched at the top of a mountain with breathtaking views in every direction. The interior is cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect getaway for our family. The only thing to note is the steep driveway; it’s manageable, but be prepared if you’re arriving in bad weather. Once you’re up there, though, it’s completely worth it. A true mountain gem!

Fantastic stay! Came for a bachelorette trip and we were able to relax by the pool, do crafts, and play games at the table. We didn’t plan to leave the house until the last day of our trip and we did just that. We had everything we needed to relax and celebrate. The pool was great and there was tons of outdoor seating. Mike was extremely responsive whenever we had questions or needed help with something, which made the stay even better. Great place, highly recommend!

Perfect escape! This home offered everything you need to relax and unwind. The views were amazing and the home was well designed with lots to do.

I really loved staying in Liz’s cottage. It was so peaceful and private. A perfect home base for our girl’s trip to the North Carolina mountains. The little stream that runs behind the cottage was one of our favorite parts. A great place to have some quiet time in the morning. Liz was also so responsive and helpful to the questions that I had. I cannot recommend enough.

This lakehouse is charming and beautiful. The hosts are always available to handle any questions. We always have wonderful stay.

Taryne is a great host! Exactly as described and it was perfect. Close to the town - about a 5 min drive. I battled with the WiFi, sent a text and she responded immediately. It’s a gorgeous house and love the layout with the two en-suite bedrooms. Gorgeous view, everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Highly recommend and wouldn’t look for anything else if I come to West Jefferson again. Thank you for being a great host, Taryne.

We loved our stay! Great space and great views! And 20 minutes to get anywhere in Asheville! Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet relaxing stay, but being close to the city!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful mountain home! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the sweetest and most charming house cat, Mr. Grey, who instantly stole our hearts. He was the perfect host—snuggly, friendly, and a comforting presence during our stay. The house itself is cozy, clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. But the true standout is the porch—an unbelievably comfortable setup with stunning panoramic views of the mountains. We spent hours out there soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, sipping coffee, and watching the clouds roll by. The surrounding property is full of life—songbirds, wildlife, and even sheep from the owners' nearby farm. It made the whole experience feel like a serene escape into nature without sacrificing comfort. One important note: the gravel road leading up to the house is quite steep and may not be suitable for low-clearance cars. We’re already dreaming about our next visit!

I really loved this mountain oasis with the ability to be close to the attractions of Pigeon Forge! Really beautiful view and peaceful, extremely clean space as well!

Absolutely loved this place! Meredith was quick with communication and responses. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful. The outdoor space with a view of the mountains was amazing! We spent a lot of time just relaxing on the deck and watching the world change colors at dawn and dusk. Kitchen was well-equipped. Not too far from town, but far enough to be quiet, peaceful and scenic. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this one.

Decided to take a quick trip for our one year anniversary and this did not disappoint . This place is beautiful and private . Make sure to get food before you go . You will probably not leave after you sit on the porch and get away from everyday life here . The little house is perfect and has everything you need for a get away!

Had an absolutely amazing time staying here. It was beyond our expectations. The house itself is incredibly modern. You feel like you’re living inside a magazine photo. Every day we were sitting inside, we could see the farm animals grazing. In addition, the location is perfect because you are just a few minutes away from the main Ellijay city center with tons of restaurants and cute shops to explore. However, whenever you come back to the Air bnb, you feel like you’re in a rural oasis. All of this doesn’t even mention how amazing it was to be able to interact with Ted himself and his farm animals. He allowed us the opportunity to feed them, tour the farm, try some of their produce, and generally get an idea of what it’s like to take care of a farm like their’s. They also have multiple other properties on site in case you have a large group of people. Ted himself was everything you could want from an Air bnb host: friendly, positive, helpful, and responsive. Can’t wait to be back soon!

Honestly probably the cleanest Air BnB hot tub I’ve ever been in! The hosts were communicative, responsive, and accommodating. The space was gorgeous and peaceful and the sauna is absolutely amazing. It was a perfect experience for my partner’s birthday. We live locally and will absolutely be back in the future if they’ll have us.

The views from the house were stunning! The cabin was well maintained, clean and comfy. We had a terrific stay at this cabin. The location is top notch- right near Dupont Forest and lots of beautiful waterfall. We would definitely stay here again!

This property is just as it is advertised. There are floor to ceiling windows that capture a stunning view of the mountains or you can sit outside to enjoy them! The house is well equipped, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and there are air conditioning units in each bedroom that can be set separately. The TV can easily hook up to all the major streaming services and the hosts leave an informative instruction book for guests which is really helpful with great recommendations. We lived our time here and would come back again. Our AWD Honda did well getting up the steep drive.

Wow, just wow!! This place is even better than the photos. This place is the perfect place to rest and reboot in nature. Along with all of the things to do on the property, such as the trails and disc golf course, the house is just its own slice of Heaven. The garden area is private and the perfect space for mediating, reading or just listening to all the sounds of nature. We didn’t need music because the sound of rushing water and birds was soothing enough! The house is beautiful and clean, and the attention to detail is just something beyond words. If you have time, definitely read some of the Frank Lloyd Wright books scattered through the house, and it will make you appreciate the house all that much more. A good 20% of the trip was just admiring all of the nooks and crannies within the home, from the copper details, wooden bowls made by Kevin the owner, or the different structured wood beams, it all just makes the home it’s own piece of art. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

Home away from home! The house was clean and everything you could need in the kitchen. It was like a relaxing step back in time. The view and the lake was amazing. The drive way is steep but very doable as it is a pull through. Hank and Joanna were awesome host. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your Lake house.
