Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Western Maryland

Dan was extremely helpful in providing useful information to address a car issue. The mountain views are lovely, and ... bluebirds! The location north of Cumberland is convenient to several points on the GAP trail, and you can cross the Eastern Continental Divide, always a treat.

This is our favorite place to stop on the half way point of our trips! Our second stay here was just as incredible as the first and the snacks are so appreciated!!

Such a beautiful retreat - close to downtown Berkeley Springs but just far enough away to feel completely secluded. the view from every room and balcony was gorgeous. The house has nearly everything you need right there - we especially appreciated the kitchen having seasonings & all of the pots/pans/dishes you need to cook. Our goal was having a few days to rest and spend time with each other, and that's exactly what we were able to do. The game room was a real treat, and the bowl of conversation starters in the living room was such a fun way to hang out without just having the TV on.

I’ve been travelling to this area for years for cycling, but this was the first time I’ve stayed at Catharine’s place. The house is exactly as pictured, but the peacefulness out back was more than I expected. The house was spotless and had absolutely everything I could’ve asked for. I’ve actually never experienced an Airbnb that was as well stocked for guests than Catharine’s place. Rine’s Country Getaway worked out absolutely perfectly for our plans. Looking forward to returning next year.

Wonderful place with a great view and right next to the trails for hiking. Very cozy.

The place is simple, in the forest, no neighbors, feels like glamping. The tub is lovely. The bed is cozy. The rocking chairs are awesome! It's a place to go and not leave, bring groceries and drinks and stay awhile.

We loved our stay here. Super comfortable and cozy, beautiful patio and garden and such a pretty view! Highly recommend!

This remains the best Airbnb deal in Frostburg. The location makes it very walkable, and new upgrades have been added each time I stay there. Myrta is lovely - she communicates well and offers flexibility when she can!

We had to travel for a wedding and it was just the perfect place with all the basic amenities covered. The place itself is located in a quaint peaceful little town in MD very close to VA. If you have some extra time, definitely walk around the peaceful town, its lovely!! We loved our space, delicious coffee the comfortable bed. Definitely a spot to checkout if you are in that area. Thank you Nancy for everything. We recommend 101%!!

My husband and I love staying here and come once to twice a year. Butch and Lynn are very responsive and the nest is cozy and clean. We always look forward to our stay!

Great place to stay if you're in the area. we wanted to see the Flight 93 Memorial and this was the perfect stop. It was just over night so we didn't have time for a farm tour but I did see a bison! Roger is friendly and a wonderful host. Having a washer was great since we were on a road trip.

Our daughter is at Shenandoah University. We have now made several trips to Winchester and stayed at several place via Airbnb. This is our favorite. Great location, safe parking and a great place. Our go to from now on!

Truly a great deal. Had everything I needed, was spotless (everything looks new), and Kathyren's instructions were clear and concise. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer as I got in late and left early. Will definitely be back

This cabin was exactly like the pictures and as described! We forgot that chickens are mentioned in the listing until we arrived and saw them, they were very cute. Kitchen is pretty stocked with whatever you need to have simple meals but there is no oven/stovetop so definitely plan ahead, but Trent provides some appliances like a toaster oven, waffle maker, and coffee maker. Overall we had a great stay!

Everything was very clean, easy to access and good location to enjoy town. Jason was very pleasant to deal with.

We enjoyed the place and how unique it was. The school itself is a bit quirky and was fun. We did enjoy eating at the attached restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Overall, beyond the school there isn't much more for food which was unfortunate but to be expected. This was a great spot otherwise for anyone doing the C&O trial

I wish there was an extra star for the Host! Lorena was super helpful, always responded less than 30 minutes, and made us feel welcome into her home. Personal touches say a lot, and she had written us a nice thank you card that was on the table when we arrived. It was also nice that we did not have to run out and get toiletries immediately as they were readily available upon our arrival. Lorena was also upfront with an issue involving the oven, however there was a toaster oven readily available if we so choose. I highly recommend her condo to anyone with a small group of people/small family that plans on staying in the Deep Creek area!

My husband and I were in Leesburg for a wedding and loved the place. It was just as described and close to everything.

Molly was a great host. The Airbnb looks exactly like the photos. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It was quiet and we couldn’t hear any neighbors. Molly gave very detailed instructions which made checking in super simple. The beds were a little bit hard but other than that, this was a perfect place to stay.

It was a delightful and cozy place to stay at especially with lots of things to do all around. We would recommend staying there for the vibes and local stores all around especially if you don’t want to rent a car. There’s lots of food places like heavenly wings is 10/10 recommend if you want wings.

The rental and grounds met our expectations and needs very well. Lots to do in the surrounding area. The pool and hot tub were just right. Comfy beds and cozy common area.

Lovely stay at Charles’ place! Very clean and felt right at home after check-in. Great location and the view from the back deck area is beautiful. Charles was very friendly and responded right away when I had a question. Looking forward to staying again!

This was a great place to stay while in town! The location is absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset, and the accommodations were perfect. I felt so comfortable and had everything I needed. Definitely will stay again if I have to travel back that way.

Jamil & Rania, are easily the most responsive hosts we have experienced on AirBnb. They made everything from check in to check out so easy; got back within minutes on any questions or concerns. The pics do not do the apartment justice. The decor and layout is in such good classic taste, everything from the wonder sofa, bathroom fittings, Master bed is the most comfortable bed ever slept in and sheets, duvet and pillows are high quality. Going to see if we can buy that mattress:-) Kitchen is very well stocked in terms of dishware, pots and pans etc, Coffee maker and k cups an added bonus, Dis-washer super easy to use. Work desk as super addition for log in to check work emails - wi-fi excellent. Sofa amazing as is mirror and walk in closet. Give them 5 stars, definitely stay again; definitely recommend! Thank to you both!
