For Nov - Mar we recommend guests inquire before booking about weather and driveway condition (4WD or AWD are often recommended). Private getaway in the mountains of SW PA. 5 min from Ohiopyle and Fallingwater. Small home with a spacious deck and large open doors that make the indoor and outdoor space a single living area. Located in the heart of the Laurel Highlands. For those bringing pets, keep in mind there are some dogs that run in the neighborhood and also plenty of other wildlife.

Enjoy a morning hike on our mile long private hiking trail that will take you across a clear mountain stream, into the canopies of the mountain laurels and through a rock boulder field. Welcome to Humming Bird Haven, tucked away in the Laurel Highlands just minutes from Ohiopyle. Enjoy this getaway property that has an updated kitchen with a beautiful live edge dining table. Use this cottage as a base to enjoy the many activities the area has to offer or just relax on the large open porch. A small creek runs through the property with a fire pit area and a large hammock to bird watch in. We are nestled in between a small farm and an old junk yard filled with rusty cars.

(10 mins to Nemacolin and 25 to Seven Springs) Enjoy the amenities of Ohiopyle without the crowds. Grill rental is available for $25 available April - October. If you do not need to rent it, you will still have access to the creek-side deck.
