We have just had the most incredible stay at Nichola’s place for my sister’s hen do. From the moment we arrived, she was warm and welcoming and met us to show us around. She also came to say bye at the end of our stay and asked how we got on which was lovely. The house itself is amazing and somehow exceeded our expectations- the photos look brilliant but in person it is stunning! Would definitely recommend!

A lovely place to stay in an easy to find location. Far enough out to be peaceful and in the countryside, but close enough to town for everything to be easily accessible

From booking to coming home (something I did not want to do) Caroline and Steve were amazing. Great communication, friendly faces, beautiful property, beautiful gardens, the annex is cute and cosy in every detail. Towels and rooms smell divine. So lucky to have found you four 👫🐶🐶… can’t wait to go back. Thank you for everything x

A beautiful cottage, right alongside the river and perfect for walks. The Aga gives a real sense of luxury and comfort. We loved our stay, it's a very special place.

We had a lovely week at Alpine Grove touring park. Clear communication from Keith. The space was very clean and had all facilities needed for our stay. Our toddler also really enjoyed the swimming pool! Would definitely stay again. Loved it

Wow wow wow! Headland hideaway is stunning! Absolutely gorgeous, Mike was amazing!!! Messaged every day to check all is okay, send photos of the signpost where to turn and exactly where to park etc. his food recommendation were helpful and stop on! Tried lots and all were amazing! The pool was the biggest hit and we were so lucky when we stayed we had amazing weather! Everything was spotless and modern, loved the remote control curtains! A fabulous half term dreamy weekend! Thank you so much Mike! It was an absolute pleasure!

We had booked in for a very short stay of only two nights but we wish it had been longer, much longer. We cannot fault The Signal Box; everything to make a stay pleasant, convenient and enjoyable had been thought of. The exceptional view, the history of Luckett Station, the friendly sheep, the hot-tub, the superbly comfortable bed - all combined to make this an experience that we will remember for a long time to come. The entire property was beautifully kept, with immaculate gardens and a very high standard inside. The instructions for access on arrival to the property were clear and easy to follow and the business is obviously very well run. Definitely worth recommending to others and a return visit. Thank you for having us.

My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

We loved our trip to Goodleigh. The farm was beautiful, the stables were beautiful - the hot tub was a real treat. The kids loved the rope swing and we played many of the games. The place was just beautiful, the decor, location and comfy beds were perfect for our week away. We visited some lovely beaches (30 min drive tops), Combe Martin and Lynton/ Lynmouth were favourites of ours. We visited a recommended pub - The Black Venus Inn was amazing, food was great. A perfect week and would 100% recommend.

Great place with perfect hosts! The barn is lovely throughout and the location is perfect for lots of interesting places to visit! As hosts, they were really communicative and also respectful of our situation with a nervous dog. Highly recommend!!

We booked here as two couples and had an amazing stay. Jacqui met us when we arrived and was very friendly and showed us what we needed to know. Everything was spotless and it is a very peaceful area. The swimming pool is fabulous and very well kept. The kitchen has everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will be recommending to friends and family.

Just arrived home from a 5 night stay and can highly recommend this hidden gem. Judith was very welcoming and there for us if we needed anything. The accommodation, grounds, and heated pool were just perfect for a much needed wind down and chance to just relax and switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. As a lone female with a 12 year old boy I felt very safe and my boy (who is neurodiverse) was able to relax in a new environment within a relatively short period of time due to the private and peaceful location. The surrounding area is beautiful if you want to venture out with lot's of walking opportunities. I have come away from this place with memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you Judith 🙂

Absolutely stunning property. Perfect for our weekend away. Such lovely touches like the cakes, bits for the dog etc. lovely and clean, and the place had everything we needed. 10/10 will certainly be recommending to friends and family! Looking forward to our next visit!

The location was fantastic and exactly as described. I would definitely recommend following the instructions provided by Alex to find it and not the satnav. We did end up visiting a very helpful farmer down the road by mistake. The cottage is a beautiful conversation with a stunning modern kitchen and the bathroom is amazing. Underfloor heating kept us warm and the electric velux windows allowed us to open the place up to bring in fresh air whilst not having things blown over by an open window. The bed is a massive king and incredibly comfortable. A decent nights sleep after a long days hiking. I also appreciated the working farm literally on the doorstep to fully immerse oneself into the countryside.

Simply perfect!! Couldn't fault our stay at Gothelney Farm Stableblock - communication was a breeze and nothing was too much for our hosts who are super friendly and helpful. The accommodation suited not only our group but also easily accommodated a family catch-up for fifteen! Very well appointed for everything we could need and if we didn't have it Milly or Victoria were on hand to help us out. Great to be able to wander around the farm and meet the pigs and loved the breads etc from the Field Bakery (lucky for our waistlines it was only open one day while there!). Again - a perfect location and accommodation. Thank you Fred and family for an amazing holiday home. Highly recommended!!

A Father’s Day surprise away and wow… what a perfect place! I treat my partner and his kids to a quirky ‘get away’. I wanted it be somewhere special so that he could spend quality, intimate time with them, without the distraction of technology. I can honestly say this place ticked every box. I was blown away by everything! This is definitely a place we will remember. From feeding the lovely goats 🐐 to relaxing in the amazing wood heated hot tub, to roasting smores on the bonfire. We just loved every minute. I HIGHLY recommend booking this place if you just want to enjoy some time as a couple or family, out in nature. It was so peaceful! I was gutted to leave but would definitely revisit, if I ever had the chance! Martyn, thank you so much for your hospitality and thinking about absolutely EVERYTHING possible. The communication has been second to none too. Thanks to you, we have two very happy boys and an extremely happy dad! ❤️

If you need a sign to stay here, this is it!!! My friends and I spent our Easter weekend at Fern Cottage with Nicola and her 4 doggies. I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have had this stay with her. We walked in to a freshly baked Easter cake and the sweetest card ever. Everything in the house had such clear instructions and she also had a folder with all the details about the place surroundings so we never had to look for anything. We will definitely be visiting again! This place was truly so special and homely! We spent so much time in the conservatory, reading, chatting and soaking in the views. It really is the perfect getaway!

A Relaxing Stay at This Beautiful Cottage We recently stayed at this lovely cottage and had a really enjoyable experience. It’s set in a peaceful, picturesque location, which made for a relaxing getaway. The cottage itself was beautifully maintained, combining traditional charm with modern comforts. Inside, everything was thoughtfully presented and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the living area was cozy and inviting. The bedrooms were comfortable and ensured a good night’s sleep. The host was welcoming and clearly put a lot of care into making sure the cottage was well-prepared for guests. It was a smooth, hassle-free experience from start to finish. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future.

Our first AirBnB experience found us at Gillian's beautiful home. Gillian had previously sent us a Welcome message and then sent us detailed instructions on how to find her. On arrival she was there to greet us. Gillian was really friendly and I just wish we had more time to spend. The apartment was SPOTLESS and there was a thoughtful welcome pack of breakfast cereals, milk, butter AND two cans of Cider left for us. I can honestly say the bed was really comfortable and I had 2 of the best night's sleep for a long time. The apartment was cosy with an extremely comfy leather settee ... perfect for relaxing after a very long day. I would highly recommend this property and I know it won't be our last visit.
