Vacation rentals with breakfast in West Berkshire

Lovely modern accommodation with most of the things we needed as a home from home. Opening the lockbox was very easy. Victoria was wonderfully responsive and accommodating - for example we were able to check-in in the morning already and also check-out an hour later. Upon arrival I asked on messenger if there were tea towels anywhere and after a prompt response, two were dropped off that afternoon. There are some basic provisions available such as handsoap, washing up soap, dishwasher tables and other cleaning products as well as sugar, tea and coffee. However, the one basic that was missing was a toilet roll in the toilets! After a long journey that was more necessary than the dog treats in the cupboard LOL. Thankfully the COOP is a mere few metres away. The road is busy during the day so you can hear the cars and buses pass if you have the window open, but with double glazing it did not disturb us at night. We would definitely stay here again next time!

We really enjoyed our stay in Joanna's air bnb! It's a lovely cottage with easy access by car and easy parking. The cottage has everything you need and was cosy and spacious to spend relaxing evenings playing board games or watching TV. The area around Binley is just stunning! Explored the north wessex downs from here, drove down to whinchester and of course Stonehenge and Salisbury.

We stayed here as we were working in the area and the accommodation was great for all of our needs. It was a very clean space and had everything we needed. Great location too. Would stay again!

The house made us feel at home. It was clean, but there were more of the host's personal items around the house than we expected. Easy to park, and for our needs, it was a perfect location! We found everything in the house that we needed, fridge/freezer with plenty of space, washing machine, pans and everything there for us to prepare delicious meals. The sofa was nice, big and comfortable, perfect to relax when opening the living room door to the outside and enjoying the breeze and light.

We had a lovely few days at Denise’s. The surroundings are stunning & it was a perfect base for a sister getaway. Hopefully will return with hubby & fur baby next time

Staying at Tim and Caroline's was probably the best airbnb experience we've ever had. Their beautiful home was one of those places that feel like home as soon as soon as you walk inside! The home was full of character, extremely well-decorated, and comfortably furnished; it had plenty of space and enough beds for our larger family. The hosts were so kind to leave some toys out for our children to play with. Our kids LOVED the in-ground trampoline in the garden the most. The gardens were absolutely stunning!!! We spent quite a bit of time just relaxing outside while the kids bounced and played. The home is in a fantastic location! It's close to the train station - for those wanting to go into the city - and minutes from grocery stores, shopping and many restaurants. The street it's on is quiet and private, which was perfect for our family. Tim gave us many recommendations, which we were thankful for. Tim and Caroline were perfect, helpful hosts. Thank you!!!!

We had stayed here before, two years. Ago. The place is just as good, even better with some upgrading, notably aircon (doubles as heater when cold) which was fantastic given the hot & sunny weather this year. Had a great meal at the Magpie, overlooking the river.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s! As a family with a baby and a young child, it was perfect, peaceful and well equipped for our stay. We particularly loved having breakfast provided there in the mornings, and the view was fantastic! It is a short walk to Marlow city centre and we would definitely stay here again!

Lovely studio apartment. Very well equipped and the addition of provisions on arrival was very much appreciated. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained. James was a great host - welcoming and responsive. And even picked us up from the station as it was such a hot day. We hope to return at some point and would definitely recommend.

I stayed at Francesca’s place for a week while I was in Oxford to attend my course module. It’s a great location with plant of restaurants and shops near by. It was an easy walk for me to get to Computer Science department for the regular classes. I really appreciated how responsive and proactive Francesca was throughout my stay. The place was clean and had everything that I needed.

We came to Oxford because my daughter had to have an operation and when we got there it was like traveling from home to home. The flat was clean and tidy and felt homely. The flat was a walk away from the hospital. Umu always communicated with us and if there was anything we needed she was just a message away. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Highly recommended. This is our second visit. The apartment is very clean, well appointed and set in beautiful, well kept gardens. We enjoyed being able to walk our little dog in the private field/paddock at the rear of the property with lovely views of the surrounding fields and countryside. Well worth a visit and Steve is a very welcoming host.

Great value for money. Ann went over and above, as described on other reviews. Communicated brilliantly when we were informing her of what was going on after our car broke down. After a long drive it was great that some essentials were provided. There’s was great info and tips about the local area. She also left us a card and a sweet treat since we were on our honeymoon. The peg wall of leaflets is a lovely touch. Amazingly close to the white horse as well. We didn’t use the laundry facilities but it was great that it was there. Thanks for a great stay.

The apartment was comfortable and quiet. The location was beautiful, and Jayne was very helpful and responsive. Also, it was an easy walk to the terrific Half Moon pub.

Lovely stay at Walnut Tree Cottage. Fab location in a pretty village with a decent pub just a few steps away. Excellent breakfast supplies - Gilly and James are great hosts.

The Dovecote is unique and beautiful with a luxurious spa bath, the building was cool during the hot summer days & nights, we loved hearing the morning chorus of birds (we recorded over 20 species) the manicured country garden is colorful and full of wildlife, and the fresh baked breakfast pastries delivered in a cute wicker basket were a delight. The village of Bibury is a 5 minute walk and we drove to other pretty villages in under 30 minutes. Wendy provided exceptional recommendations for dinner and garden shopping. We are looking forward to returning to this magical place in the Cotswolds.

Such a beautiful place and Carolyn was a wonderful host. Loved the room straight out onto the patio overlooking the marina where we had breakfast provided by Carolyn. Would put this as one of our top Airbnbs.

We loved this place. This farm stay has been carefully thought out, and is set against rolling Hampshire Hills with the bonus of young calves (at the time of our stay) in the paddock behind the property. This is a great location, well presented, walkable and comfortable. We stayed during a heatwave, but the barn style doors did a good job of helping keep the place cool. The hosts are very friendly and provided us with local milk (yum), along with juices, jams and breakfast items which was a nice touch. We enjoyed this property and would happily stay again!

Really good value for what you get. I’ve never had an Airbnb experience like it! Usually I avoid staying in homes with the hosts but this was really pleasant. Andy was super helpful, very polite and kind. The whole space was very clean and I didn’t at all feel like I was invading their personal space.

We had a fabulous stay. The location was lovely and really convenient for the places we wanted to visit. Zandra was a superb host; lively, interesting and kind (and very busy). Before our arrival, at our request, she provided us with very helpful advice on the various local restaurants (within walking distance). On arrival she offered us (very welcome) tea and cake in the garden. The house was beautiful, the room large and comfortable with nice views and good bathroom. The huge garden was absolutely gorgeous; she is obviously a magnificent gardener! As a host, Zandra went above and beyond eg in alerting us of an additional place she thought we might be interested to visit and contacting the owners to check opening hours. She cooked us a delicious breakfast, served in her lovely light breakfast room with door opening onto the garden. She, and everything about the place, was a delight; we were made to feel completely at home and were sorry to leave. We would definitely visit again.
