Smoking friendly vacation rentals in West Berkshire

Everything was wonderful. We landed early and Rachel was able to get us checked in a little early. Directions were clear and check-in was simple. There is a bus stop just down the street which made getting into town really easy. There are also grocery stores within a 10 minute walk (or 2 bus stops). We travelled around the country quite a bit but used the house as a home base. It worked out really well for us. Would stay again for sure.

The property is located in Reading town centre within proximity to public transposed interchange. Very convenient to travel. The flat is clean and tidy. The only issue is instability of Wifi. But most of the time is okay.

I booked a place on a heritage textiles course at the Ancient Technology Centre. My husband wasn't attending the course, so we couldn't stay in the communal space. Sharne's self-contained annex was absolutely perfect. We stayed for three nights. The is kitchen well-equipped and the bed very comfortable. Sharne had kindly left a bottle of milk in the fridge for us (we actually brought our own) and some very delicious biscuits. The toilet/shower room is small, but perfectly adequate and was spotlessly clean. Sharne and family were away for the weekend, so unfortunately we didn't meet. Maybe next time. :-) On the first night, we enjoyed an excellent meal in the Sheaf of Arrows, which is a five-minute walk away.

Very convenient location, close to Caversham centre. The place is quite small, as advertised, so would recommend only if you are by yourself. Also as advertised, the parking entrance is extremely narrow, so if you have a car, you might want to park elsewhere. The host is very responsive and helpful.

We stayed as a group of 4 for the summer solstice. the location was perfect. The accomodation was very clean. The air conditioning was a very welcome feature due to the heatwave we had this weekend. The sofa bed was quite small but manageable. we would stay again ! Thank you Damien for being so accomadating.

Everything was clean and orderly. Terry and his parents helped and informed us well. For me as an older person the second floor was a bit strenuous, but the steps were good. The balconys were nice. Terry was always helpful.

It was a last minute booking whilst staying over Christmas, instead of sleeping with the in-laws after, after being messed around by “Fahid” taking my money and then refusing my booking ( DO NOT USE HIM) she was a life saver it’s a no thrills apartment but it has everything you need for a short last minute stay and very easy to communicate and let alone saved over 30% very cheap and cheerful. We had such a lovely stay at Furzen Farmhouse. Honestly one of the nicest Airbnbs we've ever been to. The setting is beautiful, an old country farmhouse surrounded by horses, with a super friendly cat who came to say hi. The garden was a real highlight, especially with the croquet set already laid out, we ended up playing a few rounds and loved it. The bathrooms were also a nice surprise, really modern and done to a high spec. The hosts were so warm and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Just wish we’d been able to stay for a few more nights!

We had a great stay on a sunny weekend. We spent lots of time in the garden which was huge - great for kids and dogs. Large lounges and dining space. Comfortable beds. James was very communicative with us.

Happy place was a beautiful cottage, Home from Home. Has everything you need and more for a wonderful break. Perfect location for walking into town where there was lots going on. I would highly recommend Hillarys lovely Home 😊

Lovely village setting. Ideal for purpose, in our case, a great base close to family & friends for visiting & days out. Would book again & recommend to others.

What an amazing lake house!! From the moment of booking until we left, Philip was very communicative and the instructions were clear and were given an online handbook with everything we needed for our trip. The house exceeded our expectations and was perfect for sharing with our family. It had everything we needed and more! The amenities were great, and we all spent a lot of time on the lake (which was beautiful and turquoise) we had our own paddleboards or kayaks (free to use from the house) or the lovely hot tub. Our children loved the swans (and their babies) who came by every day. We would not hesitate to book the house again, I’m sure we will be back. We would 100% recommend. Wow, wow, wow! This AirBnB is unmatched. From enquiry to check-in and check out, the Lach team were so helpful. The home itself is huge, peaceful and accommodating. It makes the perfect place to unwind with friends or family, with enough space for downtime and minimal noise. Then let’s talk about the sun-trap grounds… we were in awe at how much care has been taken to maintain the enormous garden and pool. Even at the furthest point of the garden, it is not overlooked; this truly makes for a relaxing, undisturbed stay. A retreat. While the house clearly has history, it still feels clean and fresh where there have been tasteful renovations. Practicalities are covered with ample parking, fantastic location and amenities nearby, without road noise. If there were to be an improvement, it’d be nice to have a dining area that seats all 8 guests but this didn’t affect us. Staying here feels like a special treat, and we’re already fixing a date to return! Thank you team Lach

You get your own room and bathroom It matches the pictures , it is a very quiet location, rested properly while staying over with Ross I actually checked it quite late at 8:30 pm and it was totally fine for Ross, he is very responsive and helpful It is hard to rest when its not your own bed somehow this place felt like my own bed Its a bargain for the location and what you get I ve given 5 star reviews to previous places out of respect , Ross’s place is underrated So I took the time to express my sincere opinion and will be staying again

The property was as described and was spotlessly clean. Great location next to Pittville Park which is well worth a visit. Easy walking distance to town which took 20 minutes tops. Would recommend to stay here

Fantastic location with no street noise at night so easy to sleep. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen with everything you might possibly need. Plenty of space. I stayed over a week and didn’t lack anything. Ryan is a generous and easy going host who kindly accommodated my last minute changes and later than planned arrival due to a cancelled flight. The shower works fine, pressure is a bit low but plenty of piping hot water and it’s a common limitation of after market showers. Definitely recommend staying here. It even has a full size and easily accessible secure parking space.

Beautiful home, perfect place to stay. The garden is absolutely amazing. Claire Marie was very welcoming, made us feel at home. Went out of her way to ask if we needed anything. Generally a lovely, friendly host. I would highly recommend to stay here. Everything was perfect and it made our weekend.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Kirsty’s place. Check in was incredibly easy and hassle free. The apartment was clean and spacious with everything neatly laid out and with everything you need for a pleasant stay provided. The apartment is finished to a high standard and the bed is very comfortable.

A short notice walking weekend in the New Forest in August meant accommodation was scarce but I found this little gem on Airbnb which turned out to be just 10 minutes from our walking start point in Godsall. After a 14 mile hike on Saturday I was pleased it was just 10 minutes drive to my accommodation and even better that the shower was hot and the kitchen equipped so I could heat up an evening meal. Lovely and peaceful, very pretty spot through the garden. Good internet signal and tv I could watch Netflix and BBCiplayer on, as well as lots of books to read from. The bed was very comfy as well. Unfortunately I didn’t spend long at the cottage as we walked both days but it,s a great spot and good value option for solo travellers.
