Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Werdenberg District

Absolutely recommended: great location, wonderful views, very quiet. The house is a charm; it targets wood everywhere. The amenities are very good, especially the tiled stove, the hot tub outside and barbecue all heatable with the wood are really great. It was fun to build fires. The location is perfect for the mountaineers: some hiking trails start right by the house, others can be reached after a short journey. We did not meet Urs personally, but the communication was very easy and friendly. Conclusion: we will be back; we felt really comfortable here.

We had a great time staying at Jeannine’s. The house is very cozy and the view around the house is beautiful. Jeannine is very responsive and gave us clear instructions.

We had a wonderful stay at Martin’s farmhouse type accommodation. Very nice place with a gorgeous view. Plenty of room. Highly recommend it.

A comfortable and modern apartment facing the ski slopes but also a huge parking lot in winter, so directly on the slopes but also in the hustle and bustle of cars. Perfect if you want to go skiing every day but less if you want to be quiet in the beautiful Toggenburg. No personal communication as it is a large rental agency

Peaceful, with a private back garden perfect for a morning coffee or evening meal and drink. Leni left us coffee capsules, snacks and even shampoo/ shower gels. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to relax and unwind away from the big cities.

Great place, peaceful but also kids friendly. Cute little place in top of the mountain, it’s an old historical house that has been upgraded in some part. The place was spotless and clean, jasmine and her family were super friendly and kind. We would came back and stay here again. Recommend this to anyone!

We loved Silvia’s apartment! It is in a charming historic building. Beautifully renovated with everything we needed and extremely clean. Perfect location in a lovely town. Silvia was always quick to respond with any communication, kind and friendly. The accommodations were definitely a part of making the whole trip so enjoyable!

The trails nearby were stunning, and the place itself was warm, comfortable, and full of charm. After a day of hiking, it was the best feeling to come back to such a cozy, peaceful space. Highly recommend!

Very nice apartment with two rooms that are nice and clean, state of the art bathroom and a beautiful quiet garden with covered seating. However, no kitchen, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and refrigerator are present in the living room. Wish the lack of a kitchen was clearly stated in the description. Parking right outside the house which is very convenient.

We stayed at Monika's apartment for 2 nights, due to its closeness to Vaduz. We were visiting for a football match. The apartment had everything we required and Monika was very quick to answer any questions we had. The location is wonderful, surrounded by mountains with the River Rhine running along the border with Lichtenstein. If we were returning to the area, I would not hesitate to stay at the apartment again.

I have been a host for over 8 years and travelled to around 60 countries. By far, this is the best host I have ever experienced as a traveler. They were kind and quickly responded to any requests we had. In fact, we have now developed a friendship with them. The space itself was well cleaned and set up nicely. The view was absolutely incredible since this home is situation on a hill in Flums. The entire area is surrounded by greenery. They also had bunnies, a friendly cat and sheep in front yard (only for some days), which we enjoyed. The town Flums is only a 5-10 min drive down the hill and has grocery stores, barber, etc. The host was also kind enough to let us borrow bikes which we used to go to nearby lake. Zurich was only a 1 hour drive. Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein under an hour away. This space is perfect for couples or families. If you prefer a country side location away from major cities, this is the best place!

There were two of us staying in this beautiful apartment for two nights and we felt very comfortable. It is a 10-minute walk to the cable car and there is a lot to do. The hot tub worked well and was the special highlight of the stay after the strenuous snowshoe hike. For us, the size of the apartment was perfect. For more people, however, it may get a little tight. We will be happy to come back!

The apartment is very lovingly decorated, equipped with everything you need and has a beautiful view. We liked it very much and we would like to spend our vacation there again another time.

Really nice appartment perfectly located in Walenstadt. It's a two-bedroom apartment with a separate kitchen and both roomy bathroom and living/diningroom. Highlight is the nice view from the living room as well as the outside area. Fully and well equipped: comfortable beds, the kitchen incl. dish-washing and coffee machines, living room featuring TV incl. gaming console, grill in the exterior area. Some details went beyond expectations: bathroom with pleasant toileteries, complete equipment to grill outside. Location is really convenient. Aprox 10 min walk from both the centre of Walenstadt, as well as from the lake and the big playground for the kids. The area is residential area, at the very end of street hence quite and reassuring for the kids playing outside. Michaela was a wonderful host, preparing the appartment up to details, and also answering questions and helping us to make the stay even more convenient. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Very nicely renovated apartment in historic house in the middle of the village of Urnäsch. Susanne welcomed us in a very friendly way and was concerned about our well-being. The apartment is well equipped, also for children. We had a lovely few days here.

Experience was very amazing! The hosts provided an abundance of information and instructions that were very clear and translated! The apartment has an amazing view of the mountains and very easy access to the lake and restaurant nearby. The apartment was really clean and well put together. The color scheme and furniture of the apartment were very well chosen by the hosts and really felt homey. The only issue was that we didn’t stay longer!

I had a wonderful stay, Ines was very helpful and gave great recommendations of beautiful locations to visit. I would definitely go back!

Large apartment that is well furnished with a kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The neighbourhood is also very quiet - all we could hear were birds chirping. We also appreciated the clear instructions given by Raphael and Dianna. Overall, this is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Appenzell region!
