Best location in Weimar, great apartment, very nice, caring hosts

We had a lovely, albeit very wet Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years old)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high tick volume, but that's nobody's fault. However, you should prepare for a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The footpath to the house, which is slightly elevated, was a bit impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

We were there with a dog over New Year's Eve. Beautiful house, no frills, very well equipped kitchen (I have to mention it: sharp cutting knives), very cozy and soundproofed. Didn't even hear the blast. Host very nice, ostramondra seems to host many dogs, in our case there was a lot of barking in the neighborhood, which did not bother us.

We used the apartment with two families (2 children and 2 adults each). The sleeping situation was really ideal as we had two large bedrooms and the entire attic. So everyone could sleep in for different lengths of time. The entrance area was really great, just as you would want at home, 8 people can take off their shoes and jackets at the same time. The kitchen equipment was really very good. A second bathroom, at least when used with 8 people, would certainly be the icing on the cake.

Our stay at Chalet Birkenzauber was magical 🫶 The entire accommodation for us was super cozy, well equipped (unlimited 5G Wi-Fi, 4kSmartTv, coffee maker with all kinds of pad hangers etc...) and offers a magnificent view and because we were there over New Year's Eve we had a fantastic fireworks spectacle! The area had many highlights to offer. The museums, picturesque hiking trails and the snow park towards Oberhof with its versatile winter activities such as skiing, biathlon shooting and a fantastic view. Everything necessary like supermarkets with bakery was right nearby We didn't lack anything. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for recreation and or experiences. Thank you Mandy again for this wonderful break we were able to experience and the little touches that made it even more special! ❤️

If you want to switch off from city life, it's just the thing. Cozy, clean and well-equipped cottage in the middle of nature. Morning coffee on the terrace to forest sounds is already the perfect start. Those who like to roam through the woods can start some hiking trails directly from there. And on cooler evenings, the fireplace is excellent. And the best part…my big furry friend was warmly welcome there and felt just as comfortable. I haven't been there for the last time :) Thanks!

Our stay at Anneliese's place was great. It is a 10 min from the centre, close from other places to visit and 2 mim from kaufland. It was very calm the bed was comfortable and there was everything we needed for the stay. Thank you!

We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. The only thing missing in the description was that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs. But this is not a criticism, it is just information or a recommendation. Best regards and thank you for the beautiful days in Thuringia.

One of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in, located in the city of Erfurt but in a very calm and relaxing place, we were in the area for work and it was perfect to relax at the end of the day, it has everything you need in the house, Anke, Frank and Kheda are very friendly and good hosts, I really recommend it, thank you

Wonderful stay in a unique and beautiful location. With a family of 6 adults, we stayed in the apartment "Henriette". A private kitchen, living room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms at our own disposal. The last morning we were able to have a nice breakfast in the restaurant. It is also a great location for a day trip to Leipzig (about an hour by car).

Bad Sulza is very clear and nothing is more than 20 minutes walk from the property. Also some circular & hiking trails lead along the address of Anja Haus. Good local recreation!

The hut is great for hikes and excursions to reservoirs and many activities. Very quiet and right by the forest to go hiking. .In the cabin there is everything you need. Super fenced for our dogs,which gives extra points;-).

Our stay with my small family in this apartment was really great! The apartment is cozy and fully equipped. The pool and garden are totally private, and it's really quiet there, perfect for switching off and relaxing, far from all the noise. I highly recommend the place! The only thing that wasn't so great was the mattress, which was super hard and made my back pain worse. Would be great if you replace them.

What a great place to stay! Super family friendly with swimming pool, playground, foosball table and beautiful garden. Very tastefully restored and furnished! Nice host, always present when you need him. Thank you! Had a good time.

Had a wonderful stay with nice walks and bike rides. The bungalow has all the amenities you need and a lovely sauna to end the day in!

Very nice small apartment well equipped and perfectly situated close to the historical center, shops and restaurants. Very good communication with the orner and quick feedback to any questions. Strongly recommended.

Great apartment, ideal for a short getaway, out of the city. The surroundings offer many possibilities, e.g. animal parks, playgrounds (20-minute drive), attractions in Leipzig. Michael is a nice host, we will be happy to come back. We gratefully accepted and enjoyed the fresh eggs and rolls. Thank you. We felt very comfortable. Everything was very clean, there were toys for the little guests, fresh flowers and overall the apartment was beautifully furnished.

The five of us spent a weekend in Jessica's Airbnb and were super satisfied. The location was perfect (only 2 stops to the main train station), the check-in with key box was flexible and the apartment was well equipped. Even if we were hardly in the apartment, there would have been enough space to cook and be together, so also perfect for unstable weather. Everything was as described and in the photos. We had a great time and can definitely recommend the place!

Good and clean accommodation, had everything we needed and was in the north, which suited us. Bathroom is a walk-through room to the double bedroom, if that bothers anyone.

The location is fantastic. You are super fast in the old town. A park for the necessary exercise of our dog right around the corner. The only thing missing was a hair dryer. 🤣 Thank you. 🙏
