The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.

Our site with direct access to the Rhine River and near the city of Basel is open annually from March to November and has a lot to offer! The furnishings are simple so that you can truly enjoy the beauty of the house and garden. We have therefore deliberately chosen not to include a television.
