The view is priceless, its nestled on farmland. A mile down the road, you'll discover a one lane red bridge. Go five miles to the south & there lies Pinicon Ridge Park. You can hike the trails, go kayaking, & fish the Wapsipinicon River. Just 30 miles from the Cedar Rapids airport. There is a man-made pond five miles south of the Guest House. Its four acres long. You may fish or kayak this beautiful area. Within the last year, 14 clients complimented the host on how welcoming the place is.

Guest review summary: clean, comfortable and cozy! Our place is well equipped for your stay in town. Just a quick mile (3 minutes) to the interstate makes this place close enough to be convenient and far enough to be quiet. Or, instead of hopping on the interstate, just continue on into the heart of downtown Cedar Rapids for business or pleasure. Luxurious 12 inch memory foam mattresses on each bed for exceptional rest. When you're awake, there's a Keurig and high speed internet (100 Mb).

Cozy, spacious cottage with a beautiful sunroom porch where guests can enjoy peace and quite. Free Wi-Fi, conveniently located within minutes of downtown, great restaurants, shopping mall and grocery store is right up the road! Basement has a comfortable area for guests to unwind and watch a movie. There is plenty of sleeping space, 3 beds and 2 futons, 1.5 baths, large dining room table with plenty of space. The character within this home is absolutely gorgeous. You wont be disappointed!

Our place is close to everything! A 5-10 minute drive to just about anything in town. Newbo District and downtown are 5 min by car and 15 min on a bike. The bike path is 1/2 mile from the house and easily accessible. You will enjoy the quiet wooded location of this completely renovated "cozy" 500 Sq. Ft. one bedroom cottage. There is a fire pit and wood for a nice relaxing night, if you choose to stay in. Check out my other listing next door. 3 bed 2 bath if you need more space.

It was wonderful little getaway in a wooded area right on the river. There was absolutely no shortage of wildlife, deer, geese, chipmunks, rabbits and lots of others all made regular appearances. One of my favorite activities was just sitting quietly as wildlife did its thing around me. It was very peaceful and would recommend if you need a quiet tranquil retreat with plenty of privacy.

We normally stay in a hotel, and come to this area often for baseball tournaments. We had an extra person with us this time and spent just a little bit more on Sue's place, but it was worth it. It was so nice to have such a comfortable place to stay in such a great location. It's close to Prospect Meadows and the downtown location offered so many different options for food and fun. Sue was helpful and responsive! Would definitely stay again! Side note: MBR bed sooooo comfortable!

The beautiful sunsets are worth the stay alone! The place was so peaceful and was great for our dogs. Dan provided clear instructions and was very responsive. We had a minor drain issue, but he was quick to respond and more than willing to come fix it.
