Such an amazing, quaint Airbnb. The area was quiet and peaceful. The mast general store on the way to the cottage was worth the stop! A perfect way to spend my wife's mother's day weekend. I'd definitely book this cottage again!

Amazing stay! My kids and I loved it!

Sweet guest cottage in the mountains. Theme decor is very welcoming and comfortable. Gives rustic chic vibes. Feels spacious. Sofa bed linens and mattress pad made for a v comfortable place to sleep. Two bathrooms and ample hot water and towels. Up a steep hill, choose the one minute longer route up Possum vs Sunset road and it is not as twisty and steep. Probably not a walk to town kind of place due to the hillside perch but close enough that you wont mind the quick drive. We saw deer, bunnies and a bear in the neighborhood. Thoughtful host, lots of nice little touches (S'MORES!!!!).

Perfect for a lovely weekend at Sugar Mountain. Private and secluded. Saw an entire herd of deer walk in front of us. Very close to groceries and banner elk Main Street. We had a lovely time and would definitely rent again.

Great stay at Sarah's place! We had plenty of room to hang out with our 2 adult children and cooked a couple of meals in the kitchen, which had everything we needed. Our dogs loved the fenced-in area under the porch, and it was very convenient to be able to just let them out when they wanted. It's close to Blowing Rock, Boone, the BRP, Moses Cone and anywhere else you may want to venture. We had a great weekend!

Went to enjoy the river and relax. It met all expectations. It’s a peaceful place right on the river. A lot of wildlife in the area…deer, wild turkey, hawks, geese, ducks, fireflies. Very easy access for fishing and the river has plenty of trout. Adjacent to laurel creek waterfalls which was a simple hike and good swimming holes. Very clean and welcoming and had all the amenities we needed. Didn’t want to leave and would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay at Rebecca's place! It was close to Boone and even closer to grocery shopping, gas and restaurants. It was convenient to The Blue Ridge Parkway and countless hiking trails. The home was beautiful and the fenced-in back yard was appreciated as; we brought our dogs. Even though the photos show a split-rail fence, it is backed up with wire mesh so the dogs were free to roam back there and they loved it. The fire pit was awesome and the deck and furniture was comfy at the end of a day of hiking. We highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Boone and the surrounding area.

Wonderful town this little mountain town, Banner Elk. The Elk Cottage at the Azelea Inn was the perfect place to stay. It’s clean, comfortable and close to great restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. Highly recommend!

The location for our visits to this area is perfect. Close to family and friends who live in the area yet secluded enough for us to still feel like we are getting away. The house had all we needed for a couple of days. The creek and hot tub are so nice.

My husband and I rented the property for long term. We were moving to Ashe County and stayed at the property while our property was getting ready to move on. Wendy was very accommodating to our needs. She answered any question or concerns we had in a timely manner. Wendy went above and beyond for us. The property is very nice and quiet with lots of different beautiful views. We made friends with the cows in the pasture across from us. There are 3 other properties and all the tenants that stayed in them were so super nice. Wendy really made our stay nice and comfortable

Great home! We booked for a weekend ski trip and loved every second. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Never ran out of plates, utensils, cooking ware. Tons of coffee, tea, and hot coca to top it off. Host made great local recommendations and had a binder full of helpful info. The home was spacious and well kept. In the winter 4wheel is a must but we didn’t have trouble our specific weekend in a 2 wheel truck. You will love this home for your next stay!

We had a great stay. Feels tucked away but close enough to both Boone and Blowing Rock. The place was beautiful and the host was very helpful with a flexible check in.

We loved the home and it had plenty of room for the six of us (5 adults and a toddler). Yard was so peaceful and we enjoyed the cows right outside the door. We would definitely stay again. If I had to make any suggestions I would say maybe ceiling fans in the bedrooms but other than that it was great!

This cottage was a cozy place to stay when I came to town for my daughter’s graduation! It was 2 miles from campus and 1 mile from grocery store. Host was very responsive when I called about check out time. Only complaint was the second bedroom twin bed was really hard!! It’s perfect for 2 guests that both stay in the primary bedroom as that bed was wonderful! Would stay again!

This was the perfect place for my family gathering. It was spacious, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Thanks to the fenced back yard that connected to the front porch, my son’s dog was able to run and play while still interacting with us. The host was extremely responsive before we arrived and during our stay. They made it easy to adjust the length of our stay before the trip and when I reached out after we arrived with a minor issue, they had someone at the house an hour later taking care of it. I really couldn’t have asked for anything better. We’d love to stay here again!

This was our third trip to the cabins at Yonahlossee and we can’t wait to return! They are in the perfect location and are always well equipped, clean, and quiet.

Wonderful place to stay and would highly recommend it! We were in town for my daughter’s soccer tournament in Boone and it was perfect us. We would definitely book again! DJ responded immediately to any questions I had and he was a great host.
