Cozy home in quiet neighborhood

AngieRating, 5 stars5 days ago
I've stayed at many Airbnb's over the years and Cindy is by far the best host I've ever had! She was incredibly kind, responsive, and flexible as we corresponded from the initial booking through check out. We really appreciated all of the thoughtful touches around the house including complimentary wine, extra linens, bath products, and even a box of delicious local pastries for breakfast : ) Her home is very well appointed, immaculately clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We especially enjoyed drinking our coffee on the back porch in the morning and watching the local wildlife. If I could give this listing more than 5 stars I would! Thank you Cindy!!

Wyatt Earp Birthplace

MollyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was the perfect house for our family of four on our trip to Monmouth. The house was incredibly clean and very comfortable. We also really enjoyed learning all of the history of the home and Wyatt Earp. The Nespresso machine was a nice touch and greatly appreciated! We plan to stay here again next time we come to Monmouth to visit family.

Welcome to Grandma's house.

CarrieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Monmouth was a short drive from Galesburg which was convenient for our graduation visit. The home had a nostalgic feel and reminded me of family gatherings in my childhood. There were plenty of private spaces for us to spend time in, as well as cozy gathering spaces. The showers were incredibly tight for my tall husband and son, but that is to be expected in an older home. We appreciated the ability to make the bedrooms quite dark at night and loved the quiet of the neighborhood.

Cozy Farmstead Near Historic Bishop Hill

By far and wide my favorite experience yet. I felt at home the entire time. Colleen was responsive, helpful and even checked in on me. No other home owner I’ve worked with has done that nor shared their passion for being helpful to people. Every time I am in Illinois I am always and forever staying there. Thank you Mrs. Colleen.

Charming Geneseo Farmhouse

AnthonyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We gathered three families - aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents - for a weekend getaway. I can’t overstate how perfect the weekend was. The house itself is lovely. The layout is perfect for preparing and sharing meals with ease and gathering all ten of us in the living area, while also providing spaces in the house that felt more private for anyone looking for some solo down time. The furnishings and decor are perfect. The rest of the property is also exactly what we were looking for. We spent most of our time in the pool and the presence of the pool house made it easy to enjoy snacks and meals poolside. The open spaces enhanced the feel of privacy and solitude, despite the fact the home is located near town, which is nice should one choose to take advantage of the local shops and restaurants. The hostess was also very responsive and clearly communicated everything we needed to know. She even brought some hay to the house so our kids could feed the baby goats.
