Come stay in our carriage house turned guest house! The house was built in 1910 and the guest house originally housed horses, now it can house you! After climbing up the stairs you reach a small deck with great views of the neighborhood. No matter the length of your stay, you will be sure to enjoy the proximity to food stores, shopping in Ottawa, parks such as Starved Rock, Matthiessen, the Vermillion River and a variety of festivals that our town hosts.

This house is located 12 Miles or 20 mins drive from Starved Rock Park. Vacations, Long stays on work trips, Women's night out, Honeymoons, and Romantic Getaways! Hiking and fresh food restaurants! AMAZING places to eat second to nowhere! This two bedroom house is about 10 blocks from the Fox River Park to downtown which is an easy walk should you want to visit the many fine bars and restaurants, and microbrewers downtown, and if you don't want to drive Taxis are plentiful in the immediate area

As a host, I appreciated her consideration and quick responsiveness also. It was very quiet, cozy, nicely decorated and comfortable. The Cable TV options are the best I've seen in any AirBnB setting, including On Demand Movies on several channels. The beds were extremely comfy. The river is in view, just across the street by the park. The kitchen is very well-supplied. Outlets are minimal, so it might be a good idea to bring an extension cord(s) for your electronic devices. All in all I enjoyed it and I would visit again.”
