Japanese-style bedroom: fixed mattress 160 x 200 cm on Tatami mats (without slatted base), which lie on a 35 cm raised platform. Small bathroom with toilet and shower, fully equipped kitchen with gas stove and oven (without dishwasher, no microwave), living room with sofa, fast WiFi/WLAN, small TV, terrace with table and chairs. The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.

The Hierholzer pond is a habitat for dragonflies, aquatic insects, a spawning ground for numerous frogs and a summer meeting place for locals and their guests. The chalet/wooden house with large roof overhang, conservatory and balcony facing the pond provides 65 m² in 3.5 rooms. The property with 1000 m² west slope is sun-drenched.
