When my husband & I first saw this house, I knew it was the perfect place to escape to do my favorite thing - read. I designed it with that in mind. I could see myself reading in front of the wood-burning stove. Reading on the martini deck with coffee in hand. Reading in the afternoon light in the loft or outside on the deck. Located in the heart of Waldo, walking distance to restaurants, bakeries and bars. Brookside/Plaza are minutes away. I hope you love it as much as I do, I know you will.

This tiny loft apartment is located in an old neighborhood with big trees, and just a short walk away from Waldo shops, restaurants and bars. Easy travel to Westport, Country Club Plaza, Crossroads, River Market, Power & Light, and many more super fun KC gems. The apartment is in the space that once was our old garage, so it's attached to our home. You have a separate and private entrance, full bath with an amazing shower, a small kitchen with appliances, and a loft bedroom with ladder access.

A modern living area is equipped with a large flat-screen TV mounted on the wall. A brown leather sofa is centered in front of a wooden coffee table, while a dining space with two bar stools is positioned near the kitchen, which features white cabinetry and stainless steel appliances.

I had a great time staying here! The location is very convenient to the Plaza and to the rest of downtown KC. Parking was always available right outside of the apartment. The apartment was very clean and had all necessities needed for a week-long stay. Communication was great. I would gladly stay here again!

The entryway is marked by a welcome mat that reads 'good vibes only.' Light hardwood flooring leads into a spacious living area, visible through an open doorway, where a neutral-colored couch can be seen beside a patterned area rug.

I can't rave enough about these hosts. I had a lot of questions and they were prompt to respond. I also worked with them to have birthday decorations hanging for my daughter as a surprise when we arrived. From the weeks before to the trip, everything about my interactions with them was 5-star. The one piece of feedback I have for anyone considering this as a stay is that if you have any mobility issues, it might not be the right place for you because of the inconsistency of the elevator working. It worked when we got there, then broke, was fixed and broke again within a few hours. The stairwell is winding and narrow and I know it's out of the control of the hosts, but it's something to keep in mind. That being said, even though it was out of their control they did issue me a small refund for the inconvenience.

Had a great stay! Very clean and comfortable accommodations. Jacob gave helpful instructions on getting inside prior to my arrival. Very nice setup and plenty of space. The shower had great water pressure. Coffee was available for mornings. Easy to get to events in KC, but located in a quiet area. Would stay again!

My stay a Janine’s airbnb was a great experience! It was exactly like the photos, it had all the amenities i needed for my week long stay, and the place was clean upon my arrival. When an issue had occured at the airbnb she was very responsive and proactive in accommodating me during my stay which i truly did appreciate. This was my 2nd time staying here, Janine is a fantastic host and I would recommend staying at her airbnb if your planning to visit Kansas City!

Angie was a great host and the apartment was just as described. My wife and I had a very comfortable stay there and would stay again if we ever need a place for a night or two in KC!

We stayed here for my wife’s class reunion. It was very clean and comfortable. It was private. The family was extremely nice. The kids were also very friendly and polite. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
