Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Waikiki Beach

I have stayed in this property once before and loved it then too. However this time - I had to make a last minute booking as other air bnb accom fell through on the day and was stuck. The team were incredible, so responsive, had me sorted and in within 2 hours of first reaching out. Do not spend your money staying at old run down hotels on the beach, the view from the balcony alone here is worth it, music playing at the cafe downstairs, palm trees swaying against the beach all visible from the balcony and from the bed. Has everything you need - drip coffee for the morning, can fit ice in the freezer for some lazy sunset balcony drinks, comfortable bed (I always travel with my own pillow so can’t comment on the pillows), air con worked beautifully. Location cannot be beaten one block from pretty much everything. Do yourself a favour, don’t read any more reviews, book this place and happy happy Hawaiian holidays.

We loved Albert's place! It is right on Waikiki. Within a few minutes of easy walk, we are right on the pristine Waikiki beaches. The views from the studio is amazing: we can see 2 parks down (one of them being Fort DeRussy Beach Park), we can see the beautiful mountains from the room, we can even see the ocean from the balcony and from one of the windows, which is a sweet surprise to us as the description didn't mention ocean views. The studio is a corner unit, so it is more spacious than the normal studio, especially the additional room at the entrance that conveniently provides space for our beach gears. We mostly took the buses, as the place is so conveniently located to one of the main bus stops on Waikiki. It is also close to ABC stores and popular breakfast place "Egg'n Things". We didn't do much cooking, as there are so many choices nearby, so we can not say much about the kitchen and utensils. Other than that, this place greatly exceeded our expectations!

Hilton Village is easy. Has everything you could need or want so you don’t spend time driving all over in Honolulu traffic! We wanted to arrive and park it! This place allowed us to do just that!!

Brooke’s place was perfect for my partner and I plus daughter and niece. We were able to cook in the kitchen with sharp knives other good kitchen amenities but also appreciated that there were plenty of dining out options very close by. Kailua and adjacent beaches are clean, friendly and beautiful! It felt safe for the teenagers to spend hours on their own. All around great experience with Brooke being very easy to reach and helpful with recommendations for hikes, shops and restaurants.

Idyllic location, comfy and cozy, private sanctuary of a home and beach while still walking/biking distance to lovely local markets, food, book stores, etc. Misty Ann was such a responsive and helpful host, went above and beyond for us! She had boogie board, beach chairs, sand toys available; my young daughters and I had a wonderful time, and would return back and recommend 1000%.

This location is just perfect. My tip to avoid paying the expensive parking in the building is to drive around the place looking for a street parking. We found street parking almost everyday, walking time around 15min. It is small but it has all you need :)

Place was perfect for our family of 4. Right next to Hawaiian Village and the lagoon and perfect view of the Friday fireworks. Great location to ABC stores for any last minute needs and very responsive and helpful. Views are 10/10.

We had a great stay. The place is cozy, has a great view and amenities and supplies. It is in great location, close enough to everything in waikiki but away enough to not deal with the busy and louder areas. Great host who was very informative, accomodating, detailed and gave alot of recommendations.

Absolutely loved this place! Got the additional parking pass and it was well worth it. We were able to keep the parking pass a few hours after checkout and they were very flexible about that. Location was great and very walkable to the beach and shopping buildings. The place was gorgeous and just as pictured. The only thing is that I wish we stayed longer!

Excellent location. Close to beach , restaurants and everything. Very walkable. The hosts even provide beach umbrellas, chairs and a wagon to haul them. The unit is also nicely managed. Communication is great. Recommended for family vacations!

This was the perfect place to stay with easy access to Waikiki Beach and within walking distance to many other sites and places in Oahu. The food trucks across the way were delicious and the space was perfect for our couple of days in Oahu!

We had a very nice stay in Jared’s place. We had everything we needed, it was clean and comfortable. The views were also great! Easily walkable to the beach and shops.

This Airbnb was fantastic—just like the photos show. The view was stunning, and the host was both friendly and attentive. It offered plenty of amenities and was within walking distance of the beach and local restaurants. Having a car rental available on-site made getting around incredibly convenient. Thank you for making the place so welcoming and warmth.

Had a great stay! A group of 4 of us shared the place and we had no issues. It was a bit cramped with all of our luggages but we made it work and it was worth having all the amenities plus walking distance to beach, bars and restaurants. We were able to find free parking every night with minimal hassle. The hosts were great and very responsive, we were allowed to check in one hour early which we appreciated so much! Really loved that they had beach chairs boogie boards and a wagon, it helped a lot! Overall would recommend this place 10/10.

Jayden’s Airbnb was just as described and felt right at home! The outdoor table was amazing for working and the bed was SO comfortable. The location was perfect, close to all the shops, to the beach, and to many restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at Jayden’s apartment in Waikiki and had a genuinely great experience. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and exactly like the photos, maybe even better in person. It was spacious, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The highlight for me was the view, it was stunning. The location couldn’t have been better. It’s right in the heart of Waikiki, so getting to the beach, restaurants, shops, and local attractions was super convenient. Despite being close to everything, the apartment felt quiet and private, which was great for winding down after a day out. Jayden was a great host: clear communication, easy check-in, and quick to respond to any questions. Everything was smooth from start to finish. Overall, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had!

Great little place to stay within walking distance to Waikiki. Exactly what we were looking for at a reasonable price. Communicative and friendly host.

Our group was in town for a week or so to attend a wedding. We saved hundreds of dollars staying at the Nikita Airbnb versus those who stayed at the wedding hotel block. Free parking and no resort fees. The host was wonderful and very responsive. There are plenty of places to eat and shop that are walking distance. Mahalo!

Great stay at Jiyoons, super walkable location and much cheaper than neighbouring hotels. The space while small is very usable, we were out most of the time. Self check in instructions were clear and very simple. Jiyoon was very responsive to all communication making it a very easy and enjoyable stay. I would consider staying here again on a future visit!

David and Jen were extremely helpful during our trip. They provided clear instructions and even gave recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The condo was clean, and pictured accurately. The place is also walking distance to all of downtown Waikiki which was great for walking to dinners and shopping.

It was indeed a great stay. The host was very responsive and made sure we were good throughout the stay. The home itself was nice, the bed was really big and pretty comfy. The complex building itself is nice as well. Overall I think the host was one of the best hosts I’ve interacted with on here. Great person, great stay. I’d definitely rebook with him if I were to ever go back!

Blake kept us informed and provided clear instructions, the location is walking distance to beach, shopping and eateries, the addition of a laundrette in the building will be an added bonus.

including lots some insects in Hawaii this one place is Fantastic , it's very clean. it's quite seen that Hostess keeps an eye on clean very carefully. concerning above reviews. its not old room. you can find all necessary things , sleeping pretty well, and have the best location directly in centr of city .Gina was always interested and would be ready to help .
