Villa vacation rentals in Waikato River

Bow Street Studios was the perfect spot for our one night stay in Raglan. Tucked away at the bottom of the main street it was perfectly placed for a short walk for a potter in the lovely independent shops, or to have food at one of the delicious restaurants. The accommodation was clean and cosy, with lovely outside space and balcony. Wished we could have stayed longer.

We stayed 2 nights at Pingping’s Place. The place is great. The house is very well equipped and has an incredible view. Just a few minutes from the beach. We hope to return soon. Thank you Pingping.

Brilliant location for us attending an event at a nearby high school. Handy to supermarkets and well equipped property. Wonderful to be able to stay in a home with space rather than a hotel. Thanks for having us!

Our family had a wonderful stay! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and spacious—perfect for our toddler and dog. It’s set away from busy roads, making it feel like a quiet retreat, yet still conveniently located for easy access to the motorway and surrounding areas. We felt right at home and would love to stay again when we are back in Auckland!

A cosy and quirky house with beautiful views of the mountain and lake. Des is a great host and the house has everything you need. My only caution is that the driveway is a bit steep and a touch tricky especially when wet. Would recommend.

We had a great stay! The house is spacious and well-equipped — perfect for our group of 6 adults and 5 kids. The location is convenient, and we really enjoyed the view from the windows. It was exciting to watch planes descending and trains passing by — the kids were absolutely thrilled! Highly recommended for families or groups.

This place is amazing and beautiful. The house is very well maintained and as it looks in the pictures. The pool was clean and big and nice, hot tub was also great. The house is very spacious and has a great speaker system. Check in was easy and you truly have the entire estate to yourself. My only negative feedback was on the golf course. I booked this place so I could play golf and the course is unplayable. Still had fun hitting balls around but it’s not been well maintained. Also, the bbq wasn’t clean enough to cook on. Everything else was great.

Great to deal with the host, just everything was perfect. Flexible check in and check out process with great communication. The place was spotless and beds are very comfortable. One of the best air bnb places that we ever tried. We will definitely come back again.

The Villa is super stunning and rustic with all and more than needed ammenities. Our group thoroughly enjoyed spending an evening here. Laura was also super helpful and quick with communication and clear instructions. Definitely would love to go back for a longer stay and possibly even make use of the space for events. We stayed at Centennial house for a 40th Birthday Family celebration and I couldn't recommend this place highly enough! There is so much space with beautiful bedroom suites and outdoor areas. A lovely outdoor patio where the kids enjoyed playing and riding their bikes and finding the friendly sheep and cow. The house was immaculately clean, the kitchen is fabulous with heaps of space and all the cooking equipment you could ever need available. Plenty of dining table space, with a covered outdoor conservatory with a gas heater which we enjoyed a family dinner at one night. John and Caroline are incredible hosts, very responsive with messages both prior to and during our stay. John also smoked a trout for us on arrival which was delicious! We all had a lovely stay and cannot thank John and Caroline enough for making the weekend so stress-free.

Absolutely loved the space and it’s close to everything. Rachel was responsive and always replied when I had questions. We loved the pool, loved the rooms and spacious lounge & backyard. Wonderful host and would recommend this space to all. Thank you Rachel 🙏🏾

This is a fabulous place to stay especially for families with a range of ages. It had everything we could wish for. Cindy & Jon were wonderful hosts.

Really beautiful place to stay, quite close to Hobbiton and Matamata. Nice distance from other houses if you're looking for a more private location. Caren is lovely and really responsive.

Very spacious and clean house. The bedrooms are very roomy and comfortable. Highly recommend for a family stay.

Gaewyn’s place was kept beautifully inside and out! They are both lovely people to stay around and chat withand had the additional bonus of Miles (dog) who was always there to greet us when we returned home. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I can back to New Zealand ☺️

Nothing fancy, but decent place to stay and great value for money. Location was great, everything the village had to offer on walking distance. For the kids the playground and swimming pool were cool. They also had an amazing time with the other kids. Lack of smart tv was compensated by a nice collection of dvds at the reception desk which were free to use. Night sky was amazing with Mars and Jupiter in clear site.

We had a huge week looking after a school group while staying at Jacqui's place and the only negative was that we could not spend more time at her place around the pool or enjoying the incredible grounds

Our cabin was awesome! Enough room for Our family of 5, stunning surroundings and just an overall warm feel. We loved our stay here.
