In summer, it is an ideal starting point for cycling and hiking tours (several reservoirs and swimming lakes nearby) and in winter due to the altitude (one of the highest places in the Vogtland) snow-sure access to the Kammloipe (trail behind the house in the forest)...

A sensitively reconstructed attic overlooking nature and a hot tub on the terrace (for an additional fee) and a home cinema. We'd love to lend you our place. The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.
