House vacation rentals in Viseu District

Lisbon was nice, but our vacation started here. Having this beautiful home and a car, we explored the region and had a great time. Owners recommendations led to our favorites experiences on the trip. Can't recommend enough. The pics don't do it justice either, and the pics are amazing.

This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

It felt like home when we returned after 6 six years. The place of Laurence & Jorge is in line with the pictures and the view is amazing. The house has everything you need, we really loved the mattresses and the pillows. The house is surrounded by a large garden, and we liked the privacy and the fruit trees in the garden. Getting into the house is easy and communication is perfect. We will definitely return again! We recommend to do some groceries before you arrive, the nearest supermarket is a 15 min drive away. A casa era exatamente igual às fotografias. Desde o momento da reserva até ao check-out, a D. Adelaide foi uma excelente anfitriã, sempre disponível e atenciosa. As comodidades eram muito confortáveis e cada cantinho da casa surpreendeu pela positiva, com detalhes pensados ao pormenor para garantir o bem-estar e o conforto de todos. A receção feita pela D. Glória foi extremamente simpática e acolhedora, e o bolo de boas-vindas... estava simplesmente divinal! Sem dúvida, uma experiência para repetir.

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

Mario and Cila’s home was one of the most beautiful I have stayed out. The house was an old olive oil mill, converted into a modern paradise. They thoughtfully incorporated the property’s history into the renovation. The home is beautiful but the grounds are next level! There is a running stream running along side and under the house with lush grounds and a wonderful pool. There is also a walking path to a little park with a waterfall! Super peaceful property. If you are looking for a getaway, look no further! Mario and Cila are super kind, gracious hosts! They welcomed us themselves and proactively provided tips and recommendations. Super appreciative of their hospitality.

If you searching a spot that is quiet, with beautiful views, your private area to relax, than this is definitely the right place. The house is lovely and everything is available what is needed. The surrounding on the Quienta is nice to do small walks and the pool has the right size to get a refreshment. Hugh and the others are great hosts, explained well the way to get to the Quinta and answered quickly in case of questions. We would love to come back and enjoy this place again.

We stayed at Filipe's place for a week, and our experience was excellent. The apartment was spotlessly clean and is in new condition. The appliances and TV are new and everything works perfectly. The beds are great...we slept better than we do at home. It was quiet and peaceful, which also facilitated a relaxing environment. Included is a space for parking if you are coming by car. Filipe was a great host. He answered our questions both before and after we arrived and checked in on us during our stay to see if there was anything we needed. We would not hesitate to stay with Filipe again when we are in the Viseu area.

Leur gentillesse, leur envie de partager … Nous avons adoré ce studio (assez grand quand même) perché sur les hauteurs avec une vue MAGNIFIQUE La confiture de Cécilia, et leur porto un délice Je le recommande fortement pour un séjour au calme et profiter de la région et ses paysages comme il se doit !

Ficámos encantados com o espaço – é tranquilo, bem cuidado e a piscina foi um verdadeiro luxo nestes dias de calor! Foi maravilhoso poder levar o nosso cão Escobar, que também adorou o ambiente e o espaço ao ar livre. É cada vez mais raro encontrar lugares tão bonitos e que aceitam animais com tanta naturalidade. We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

5 ⭐️ O alojamento correspondeu e superou as expectativas! Vamos voltar, de certeza! O Sr. José Carlos é muito atencioso e sempre disposto a resolver ou esclarecer qualquer dúvida. Espaço lindo, limpo, calmo e sossegado. Desde a casa, ao jardim, à piscina e à vista desafogada magnífica, tudo maravilhoso. Recomendo a 500%. Ideal para férias em família, com paz e sossego. Espetacular.

We had an amazing time here! Gorgeous views, lovely spacious and well set-up apartment but most of all the best hosts, Cristina was extremely helpful and welcoming, offering home baked cookies even! Additionally, Bruno as well as his parents were kind and welcoming. We tasted the farm’s wines and were happily surprised. The pool is amazing, the setting is most serene. We drove to the Douro river to visit some wineries and the drive is lovely. I can’t fault this place. Hopefully coming back soon!

Já é o segundo ano que visitamos este lugar. Há algo mágico nele e sobretudo para quem trabalha na cidade, é o lugar perfeito para poder desligar. Dá-nos saúde e faz sonhar. Destaco mais uma vez a piscina e a vista. Acordar com vista para o vale é sensacional. A casa tem todas as comodidades e está muito bem equipada. O espaço é limpo e muito acolhedor. Espero voltar para o ano.

Se procuras um lugar para descansar e ficar mais tranquilo longe do trânsito e mais junto à natureza, é o ideal. A casa está toda equipada com tudo o que precisa para cozinhar, higiene etc. A piscina que a casa disponibiliza, tem uma vista muito bonita, e é uma boa piscina! Por outro lado, a cidade mais próxima é Seia, onde é possível ir de carro ( 8 a 10 min). O local onde se encontra o airbnb é uma aldeia muito pequena, não há entretenimento quase nenhum (o que é bom por não ter incomodo de vizinhos). A entrada para a casa também é super pequena e estreita. No geral, passei 2 noites muito tranquilas, fizemos nossa própria comida e só precisamos ir à cidade 1x. O local condiz com as imagens disponibilizadas. O anfitrião foi bastante simpático, flexível e atencioso.

Adoramos a experiência! Excelente para uns dias de descanso. A casinha tem tudo o que precisa para uma estadia agradável e em paz!Importante, o deslocamento foi sempre de carro. Muito boa comunicação com o Host ✨️🙌🏼

Мы провели в этом доме несколько замечательных дней и остались в полном восторге! Дом очень чистый, ухоженный и уютный, видно, что за ним действительно заботятся. Всё продумано до мелочей — в доме было много полезных вещей, которые делали жизнь комфортнее и удобнее. Отдельное удовольствие — это просторная терраса с потрясающим видом. По утрам мы завтракали на свежем воздухе, наслаждаясь тишиной и красотой вокруг. Всё вокруг было очень тихо и спокойно — идеальное место, чтобы отдохнуть от городской суеты. Хозяева — отдельная благодарность! Очень доброжелательные, внимательные и всегда готовы помочь. С ними было легко и приятно общаться. Этот дом стал для нас настоящим уютным уголком, и мы с радостью вернёмся сюда снова!

We've had an amazing 4 days here. It's just a perfect location and we felt at home here. The pool, the view, the garden with grill - everything was just perfect. The only 'negative' things, if you can call them negative, is that the bathroom is on a different floor than the bedrooms, and that the parking is a bit tight for a large car. We can fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a private getaway in a beautiful location.

The view here is incomparable! The views over the Duoro River are amazing. It’s so close to wineries and winery tours too. There’s a supermarket close by with all you’ll need. It was hot the day we arrived and the pool overlooking the valley was pristine and oh so refreshing! Our host did a great job of communicating and made us feel right at home. I could have stayed here a lot longer!

Simplesmente fantástico! Tivemos uma estadia incrível na casa do Rui e da Marisa. Tudo estava impecavelmente limpo, bem cuidado e com uma decoração cheia de bom gosto e atenção aos detalhes. Sentimo-nos em casa desde o primeiro momento. Adorámos o jacuzzi e, claro, o espaço da fogueira, que tornou as noites ainda mais especiais. Foi tudo pensado para proporcionar conforto e momentos memoráveis. Nota-se o carinho com que tudo foi preparado! Recomendamos a 100% e esperamos voltar no futuro. Local calmo (era o que pretendíamos), casa excelente, vistas, espaçosa (dentro e fora/jardim), imensos extras/prendas do anfitrião, que foi impecável. Recomendo e possivelmente regressamos com temperaturas mais quentes.

I enjoyed staying. From the location to the stylish furnishings it was what I was looking for. Although quiet in regards to food offerings there were two local eateries and a cafe. All I needed! Being close to the river I spend mornings with coffee and evenings with a glass of wine along the waterside. A (large) supermarket is only a short 15 minute drive allowing me to use the well equipped kitchen. I don’t hesitate to recommend Casa Douro!
