We really enjoyed Casa de Pedra and Mr. Carlos. Always helpful, we loved talking to him and hearing his recommendations. The house was impeccable, with everything that was needed. A very calm environment, with incredible surroundings for walks with our dog. We highly recommend it!

We actually can't describe this accommodation because we got moved to another place on the property because they were worried it might have been too noisy for us, so thoughtful. Their other place was awesome. What was wonderful were our hosts and surroundings. Ana was so helpful and lovely and we felt quite at home. It was great being in the countryside in the beautiful Druro Valley. The views were wonderful and was so peaceful. Felt like we were in the middle of a working vineyard. We enjoyed their wine also!

Great place to stay for a family get away in Serra da Estrela, enough space for 10 or more people with good views of the nature and quietness

Magical place. We spent an amazing family vacation week with a lot to visit. The nearby villages are of incredible natural beauty. What a wonderful place to stay. The house is of a v modern design and the fixtures and fittings are first class. The location is beautiful, overlooking the vineyard. And the pool is a godsend in the heat. Maria is a welcoming friendly host and made our stay an absolute pleasure.

The villa is very welcoming and has all the utensils and tools available (we cooked all the meals in the villa). The rooms are comfortable and clean. It was great to spend a weekend with friends in the middle of nature. I recommend it!

I loved the place, the house was impeccable, it had central heating which Arthur left on to welcome us. Arthur made us very comfortable, he was super nice. We loved the stay and hope to return more often.

Everything is good, great value for money, the place is somewhat isolated but if you are aware of where you are going you will not have any problems

Amazing!!!! We have stayed in many vacation homes in many places and this beautiful villa tucked into the Douro hillside topped them all. The villa was spotless and very well maintained. Helder offered great information before we got there and greeted us upon arrival, making us feel very welcome. He and Anna were extremely helpful with hints to enjoy our stay and providing delicious local treats for breakfast each morning and to take with us. They even searched out very rare Portugese gluten free pastries for my wife to enjoy at breakfast. It is clear that Helder truly cares about his guests having a fantastic vacation. It was a great home, a lovely pool with the best view! Pictures don’t do this place justice. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and a spacious home. Helder was very communicative and helped answer lots of questions about local wineries and more. Ana was great with offering us breakfast every morning. We enjoyed the stay thoroughly and would recommend the home to anyone interested.

The place is amazing and the views are better than advertised. Only issue was the pool was dirty.
