José's estate is beautiful with stunning views of the hills. The accommodation is very comfortable. And the location is ideal for exploring the local area. José was always very available. Breakfast is included, hearty and delicious. I would highly recommend this rental.

Peace by the water (at the end of the world) The accommodation could only be found after a telephone inquiry, although there are only a few buildings in the village. This is VERY secluded, if you want to stay longer, you should shop well. It only had two cafes and one (closed) restaurant there. The nearest shop is about a 1/2 hour drive away. However, it would also be possible to travel by train. However, it is fantastically beautiful right on the river and the traffic on ships, trains and cars can almost be counted. I particularly liked the surroundings with the many flowers, the access to the water and the many seating and lounging options outdoors, both in the shade and in the sun. If you want to take a boat trip, you don't need to drive away, the host also does such. You can also rent boats from him, tips for fishing were also provided. The accommodation is worth its price, is well equipped and has parking in the shade. Thank you to everyone

What can we say.. We spent a glorious, relaxed week here at the end of August, a truly special place a beautifully renovated original stone house with high ceilings and original features. Paul was a generous, friendly and knowledgeable host, and the views are spectacular. Apartment 3 was a good size for our family of 5 (kids 17, 14, 11) comfy beds, en suites for each bedroom and a stunning balcony. The pool was an extra treat, beautiful, and again with panoramic views across the valley. Oh, and the WiFi was speedy too. Brace yourself for the drive, it gets easier and it’s 100% worth it! Would happily and heartily recommend ❤️

Great stay, according to expectations and photos. Both Gabriel and Carolina were very helpful in the information and worried if everything was going well. The only downfall, which is only an opportunity for improvement, relates to the fact that the house is a 1 floor and the stairs do not have handrails. As we caught bad weather and had a baby, they become a bit dangerous.

Apartment cared for, in detail, with directions, reminders, details, quality of the house in general, with the comfort it promises. In addition, the hosts were available. You couldn't ask for anything more.

We had stumbled upon this wonderful Quinta in the last minute on our way to Oporto. Couldn’t have been a better place. Us with a family of 4 had the best time any family could hope for. It felt like a movie, the property is beautiful with vineyards surrounding the Quinta. The hosts, Elena and Jose were lovely, helpful and very welcoming. We were supposed to stay one night and extended it to 3 and wished we could’ve stayed more. We will return, no doubt about. One of many Jewels of the heights of el Duero river.

The house is fantastic, with plenty of space inside, as well as outside. Spectacular pool, my daughters loved it. Orchard with a variety of fruit trees, from which we can harvest and enjoy. Weekly bed linen and towel changes, with the kindness of Dona Cristina (the lady who takes care of the house) We'll definitely be back. Paulo Ferreira

Amazing location with incredible views. Beautiful property with great interior design and well chosen artwork, sympathetic to the original school. Thanks to Tania and Carla for the care and attention and for the outstanding breakfast each day. And for doing a shop for us on the first day before our arrival. We would definitely recommend the chef at home meal. Great food and service by the guys with traditional Portuguese dishes on offer. Fantastic stay; we didn’t want to leave….ever! Outstanding! Nice and cozy space. It met expectations, all the amenities as if we were in our own home. Hosts are always available and very attentive. We have nothing to point out and recommend that you spend a season in this house, the photos correspond exactly to the space. The pool and outdoor area of the house will certainly make for an unforgettable vacation. Thanks for having us.

If you are looking for a nice peaceful place to spend a few days, the accommodation is very beautiful and well-equipped. For the kitchen, you even have the basic condiments which is always appreciable. The only small downside is to plan for fly repellent.

Excellent, in every respect. We miss you already…. We'll do it again in the summer, as the only thing missing was the heat. Even the energy of the house is all the space is fantastic, we really loved it. Thank you very much and see you soon!
