Apartment vacation rentals in Viseu District

This place was amazing! It was by far the nicest place we stayed in during our 2 weeks in Portugal. Super clean, good size, professionally finished. The host was very responsive and gave us great guidance for parking which is a challenge near the Castelo de Lamego. Lamego has some great restaurant options. Highly recommend Casa da Rua. Also enjoyed O Sousa.

For the place itself this would be a 4-star review because some things which were important for us were missing. But because of Susan's availability and proneness to improve, I decided to give it a 5-star instead. While the apartment is cosy and has most of the basics one needs for short stays, it was also missing some things which we repute important for our working from and cooking at home. Such as firm table, a comfortable chair and more utensils for the kitchen. The place is great if you want to have time for yourself in simplicity, especially because the general curated atmosphere really supports this, but not that much if you work from home and like to cook at home. That said I'm sure that Susan will take care in the future of arranging these aspects better with her guests.

Great place located centrally to everything. Restaurants, cafes, bars, park and shopping all walking distance. Host was lovely and very attentive.

Very quiet apartment, total silence, impeccable cleaning the very comfortable bed which makes it easy and very much the rest. The apartment is a 15-minute walk from the baths that is done quietly by the river, communication was easy and quick, I highly recommend staying in this dwelling.

Everything is excellent! We went to do the Dão bike trail and we need a place to stay. Angelica was always very communicative, the check-in was arranged according to our arrival. We arrived early and were greeted earlier and were even told that we could leave the bikes on the balconies! Excellent! Super clean, tidy house, super-equipped kitchen, with cooking basics, from salt, coffee, oil. Air fryer that was very useful. The bathroom has a hair dryer, shampoo and shower gel, moisturizing hand cream and everything! Excellent. Everything as described, super well located, close to the continent and city center! Comfortable house! Angelica was always present and available and gave us many suggestions and locations of useful places. We felt completely at home. I highly recommend it!

High-quality, tasteful accommodation.

Quite a hike up the hill if you don’t have a car, just bear that in mind. Also if you’re going into town to eat, the same applies. However the upside of course is that the views are outstanding. Quiet and tranquil, we were extremely happy with our stay. Great hiking on the doorstep, lots of wine tasting if that’s your thing. One very nice touch was the traditional custard tarts and lovely bread/rolls left outside our door each morning by our host. Very nice touch indeed

Very nice quiet accommodation in front of the church, easy parking and great communication with the host, lots of nice touches upon arrival, the wine was excellent. The accommodation is very clean and well-equipped, neat and very quiet, a really relaxing and pleasant space with a view. The main sights, churches and monasteries are nearby. Highly recommended for a short or long stay. 5 stars or more

Our stay was 5 stars. Carmo was always available for whatever we needed, even after check-out. She's a 5-star host too! The house exceeded our expectations, it is excellent for hosting a large group like ours, very comfortable and with all the necessary amenities. We wanted to come back!

AMAZING HOSTS great place and area!!

Bianca is a fantastic host and her place is lovely. It is walkable to restaurants and the train station. She knew we were getting in late and left us snacks and coffee for the morning. She is a lovely, thoughtful person. We took the train up to Pinhão for the day for wine tasting and olive oil tasting. We suggest taking the train or driving the taxi is expensive to get to/from Regua. We also did a self guided bike tour thru Go on Bike and the views are stunning. We would definitely stay at Bianca’s place again.

If you're looking for a slice of paradise: you've found it here! Sacha, the owners' daughter, is very welcoming and informed us very well! It's far into the mountains but it's worth it! P.S. Don't forget to stop by the grocery store before you check in!

The apartment was wonderful. Larger than expected and extremely clean. Beautiful view and good location to explore Douro Valley.

Fernando was a welcoming host, and even shared a 50 year old Porto with us. The house is a true gem, filled with antiques, and everything modern that subtly goes along with that. It was comfortable, the beds had the best linens, it was clean, and bright. The view and surroundings of the duoro Valley and the towns could not have been better. I wish to return if we ever come back to this beautiful area.

Very good rental apartment, they have several, the only pega would be the parking, it is somewhat complicated to find a place to park

We absolutely loved the apartment. The surrounding area was beautiful and calm, the sound of waterfall was very relaxing. The view from the window just amazing 🤩 The river beach 5 min walk down by the road. We stayed at two bedrooms apartment and place just was spotless. Full of Portuguese character with the modern twist. Bright and spacious. Everything that you need is there. You need a car definitely there. Check in and check out was straight forward. All instructions were provided. We didn’t have any problems. We would recommend the place 💯 present. And hope some else would enjoy as we did.
