The place is just terrific. It is surrounded by nature, very quiet and very close to nature. You can hear the birds, the water. It's just a magical place and perfect to arrive at or enjoy the tranquility. I loved meditating by the water or doing yoga. I would come back anytime. Thanks so much for the nice days.

We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

Spent 3 nights here and had a beautiful time. Hot tub was a nice touch for the cold winter days. Carlos was extremely sweet and hospitable. Gave us plenty of information about Sever de Vouga and showed us how to get around. Breakfast was served to us everyday at 9am which was a super nice touch. Great way to start the day. Definitely recommend. I'll be going back for sure!

A different experience compared to our typical busy and noisy lives. Very Serene, calm and beautiful place with moreamenities and comfort than usually expected

We were very well received by Claudia, who showed good flexibility and communication in the check-in process. Also during the stay, Claudia always made sure that everything was fine, and nothing was missing. The house is located on a farm with a very well-kept and vast plot, and the farm is isolated: you can only hear the birds in the morning. The rooms are equipped with either ceiling fans or AC, which is quite useful and effective in the summer. The indoor pool is a plus, especially because the sides can be retracted and a breeze can be let in if it gets too stuffy. The grass is very soft. INEA️ATTENTIONINOS️ The Quinta has the house and also a Glamping, so you may not be the only guests at the Quinta. Although this is covered in a (single) sentence, among so much information, it could be more marked and transparent, so guests can manage their expectations better. Some people want complete privacy. Glamping guests share the pool area

Absolutely a perfect find. Peaceful. Well equipped kitchen, toiletries. Home made jam and honey. Aveiro a nice place to visit. Also the painted houses on the coast. Margarida is a superhost indeed.

We had a fantastic stay! Anna and Gleb are super nice and accommodating, The place is incredibly spacious, spotlessly new, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and being just a few steps from the river made it even more special. A perfect spot for a peaceful and scenic getaway— highly recommended

Maybe not for everyone but us we experienced the house and surroundings as a little paradise. The house has character and the whole lot around it is beautiful. It is quiet and has lots of space. The pool is real pool, and not an enlarged sort of bath tub. A beautiful view is included. The house is well equipped, everything worked well. The shoreline is a 40+ minute drive and worthwhile visiting. One can walk kilometers on the wooden board walk or bike along. Even to Porto along the shore which is really not far away. It passes Afurada………… you may want to plan a stop there for excellent sea food at a very reasonable price Hiking trails are in the area. Do some smart shopping for groceries and the like at a supermarket, we did not find anything close by. Maybe a minus for some, if you like to go out and enjoy night life nearby, that is a no-go.

It was a fantastic weekend! Marta is an excellent host, always available and friendly. The house is typical of the area, where there was no lack of comfort. The exterior is huge, well treated, with a large pool, surrounded by a large lawn. Repeating for sure !

We loved the stay, the house was beautiful and cozy. There was plenty of firewood to keep us warm in the living room. The kitchen was modern. I only have 2 things to point out: - It had all the necessary amenities except a mop to wash the dishes. - the oven top was not well washed (we left it cleaner than we found it) Finally, I leave the suggestion to the host that the outdoor space has immense potential and could be better used, for example with a swimming pool, especially in the warmer months.

We had an amazing stay here, a peaceful retreat from our jobs in the middle of the nature. Great amenities with the pool & pool table, table tennis and BBQ. Will definitely go here again one day

The house is amazing, it is very well decorated and clean inside, and with a beautiful garden and pool. Lidia welcomed us very warmly. We really hope to be back!

Sara’s place was fantastic for a week-long reunion with some friends. It had everything our group needed for the week, and we particularly enjoyed the private pool and sunset views from the deck. The location was great, being right on the river and a 5-10min drive from hiking trails, kayak rentals, great restaurants and local wine tastings. Sara was also very proactive, providing us with local recommendations and clear instructions on how to get there, and being quick to answer any questions we had during the stay. Couldn’t recommend Sara’s place more for anyone looking to spend a weekend or week in the area.

this is the get way off the beaten path way to visit the Douro Valley. way up in the hills above towns right in the middle of the vineyards. about 20 minutes to town. Amazing views and surroundings! Bring your sense of adventure and a smaller car. Would definitely stay there again

Really immersive accommodation in a small Portuguese village. I really recommend this place. quiet and pleasant. I came to see the WRC race in Portugal and this place was central. the host was really responsive! and the welcome was really warm! i would highly recommend it!

Very nice place for a few days of relaxing with your family. The typical house is tastefully remodeled, a beautiful decoration. The pool is nice and the view is nice (highway nearby but very little car in traffic) The only downside is the terrace around the pool, we were with children and this one is dangerous, slats coming off, nails coming out, you have to be vigilant. The size of the fridge is also a little limited for a space that can hold that many people. For the rest, everything was perfect , exotic, charming.

There are houses, lodgings, to stay and others to get away, stay overnight and little else. This is one of the best we've been to. The house is kind of magical, in the girls' opinion, which I share. The outdoor space, providing shade in a scorching August, is a gift. It was a pleasure to wake up and fall asleep there.
