Around 1 hour to drive to Vík í Mýrdal, and 1 hour to the "Golden cirkle". 10 min to Landeyjahöfn - the harbour to Vestmanneyjar. You can see some famous volcanoes and hear the sounds from the ocean .

It is ideal for 1 or 2 persons and the highlight of the stay will most likely be the outside geothermal shower with a mountain view.
