Ideally situated on the bank of the River Vézere in the pre-historic area known as the 'Vallée de L'Homme' between the fascinating town of Les Eyzies and market town of Le Bugue. To explore the area we offer FREE use of mountain bikes and a kayak*, there is direct access to the river and a 12km cycle path. This authentic accommodation has a history that dates back to the 13th century when the family who lived in the castle of Chabroulie, located 200 meters away, is expanded and decided to build this fortified house, modernized afterwards to make it a comfortable residence.
