Calm surroundings and beautiful views. The house is old and is located in the farmhouse of Vattarnesi. Sheep is prone to coming in on the meadow. The house has a bathroom with a shower. A kitchen where guests can cook. There are three bedrooms, two with double beds and one with two single beds. There are two rooms on the second floor, and the stairs are rather steep. We're not on the ring road. The house is on the old ring road between Fáúðsfjörður and Reyðarfjörður, 19km from Fáskúðsfjörður and 29km from Reyðarfjörður.

Hello dear visitors! We are a team of two passionate travellers (Ieva and Nicolas) who settled down on a faraway fjord in Iceland and are excited to meet you here. We are in the middle of our life project - renovating a beautiful old house in the centre of unpronounceable Fáskrúðsfjörður. Our little cozy studio is a result of our own imagination, we created it ourselves with lots of love and personal touch. This beautiful homey house is a sanctuary while you enjoy the wonders of Hornafjörður. We call it Fagranes or Beauty point and the garden is a true beauty. We encourage our guests to explore the garden, smell the flowers and and find the berries when in season. The garden is beautiful during every season. Our house is perfect for families.

Beautiful cabin in the woods

Relax in the beautiful woods of Úlfsstaðaskógur. This cabin comfortably sleeps 4 adults and its location makes it the perfect place to stay when exploring the eastern part of Iceland. Playgrounds for the kids are only a short walk away and Egilsstaðir are only a 10 minute drive from the cabin where you get all the service you need. Supermarkets, swimming pool, Vök-Baths natural baths and plenty of restaurants. The patio is perfect for outdoor dining in the evening sun.

Haukaberg House

Our house is located in a quiet residential area, a cozy and bright house made from wood. We offer comfortable beds and quality bedding. The kitchen is fully equipped and you should be able to find everything you need. In our area you can find guided glacier and riding tours. You could visit Vestrahorn and go to the Hot tubs in Hoffell. Other fascinating places that we recommend are Fláajökull, Heinabergsjökull and Hoffellsjökull. Suitable for big groups / families.

Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

Berunes Smithy - Historic Tiny House by the Fjord

An unique Tiny House, a compact living space for friends. It is part of the Historic Farmhouse, in a former Smithy. The House is opposite the Community Church and Graveyard. Close by the popular Berunes Restaurant, open from June to August ´26. The restaurant takes pride in serving an ever-changing menu inspired by local ingredients, ensuring a delightful culinary journey during your stay.

In Fljótsdal next to the farm Hóll in Norðurdalur is Hólshýsi. A cosy cottage that is surrounded by endless adventures and sounds of nature and wildlife. Close to countless highlights such as Hengifoss, Hallormstaður, the Wilderness Center and Laugarfell.

Gíslastaðir - Cottage

The cottage is located near the owner’s farm with lovely views over the nearby stream to the mountains behind. It is around 12 Km from Egilsstaðir and is well situated for exploring the spectacular nature of East Iceland. The farm offers horse riding.
