Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

The house has many windows and sun in charming position above the village of Maggia overlooking the waterfall of the Valle del Salto, nestled in a tropical garden, fully fenced and with a small swimming pool. Close to the house there is the possibility to swim in the river or at the waterfall. Recommended for people seeking tranquility, hikers and in search for privacy and contact with nature. Il Grottino

The "grottino" (NL-00003565) is a small independent house consisting of two rooms: on the ground floor, the living area with a small kitchen and a bathroom with a shower, on the first floor, the sleeping area with a double bed. It can only accommodate two adults, a private parking space is available a few meters away. There's no TV. Quiet and sunny area, surrounded by greenery with a large garden for guests. 16 km from Lake Lugano, 12 km from Bellinzona, and 25 km from Locarno.

Rustico on an idyllic forest clearing

Casa Berlinda, The detached rustic south-facing on a large forest and meadow property ensures comfort and well-being through the charming combination of rustic elements with modern comforts (all rooms have underfloor heating, shower bath and kitchen). The house is very quiet and you can reach it in about 7 minutes' walk uphill from the private parking lot or on foot from the public parking lot in Canedo in about 15 minutes on a flat path. There is no direct car access.

Casa Müsu, a charming rustic home in Val Verzasca

Casa Müsu is a charming little cottage completely renovated. It is located at the foot of Pizzo Vogorno, halfway between Locarno and the Verzasca pools in Lavertezzo and Brione. The first bedroom is on the second floor of the main body: it has a double bed. The second is ten meters from Casa Müsu: it is accessed by a covered external staircase and has a double bed (as in the photo) or two single beds. A third bed can be added. Casa Müsu has a private parking space.

Your own little vacation village, a stone's throw from Lavertezzo and the beautiful Verzasca. The village consists of 2 typical, 300-year-old rustic houses with authentic granite roofs. Ideal for a vacation with a small group of friends or family, a total of 12 sleeping places are available. The Rustici are quiet, yet the Verzasca is only a few steps away and invites you to take a cooling swim. Bus stop & 2 parking spaces are minutes away.

Recently renovated country house with wonderful views of Lake Como, consisting of two apartments. The AMELIA apartment is on the 1st floor and can accommodate up to four people (double bedroom plus double sofa bed). We have a beautiful SALT WATER pool that my family will share with guests. Our small, authentic Rustico is located between the villages of Contra and Mergoscia (about 30-40 minutes away by foot) in the hamlet of Fressino. It is suitable for 2 people (plus max. 2 toddlers) and is ideal for nature lovers and hikers. Some hiking trails start right at your doorstep.
