The accommodation is beautiful - the fantastic view is the absolute highlight. The rooms are super divided & the house is very charming. Would book again immediately! Only the parking situation is a bit difficult. It's not easy to find a parking spot.

The apartment is very traditional in an old stone house, located in the beautiful Verzasca Valley. The location is the ideal place to explore the valley with the beautiful nature, but also Locarno and Ascona. Please note: the place is on a reservoir, you can't swim there! There are also no supermarkets, bakeries, etc. in the valley, so it is best to do your shopping in advance. The apartment itself is very clean, the kitchen fully equipped, the location very quiet. We were there as a family with 2 children and felt very comfortable. (There are steep stairs in the house, not suitable for very small children). Overall highly recommended!

Spectacular scenery and beautifully designed property

We had an unforgettable stay at Cristina and Mauro's house. As already mentioned several times in the reviews, the view from the deck is breathtaking! What a joy to wake up every morning to this different show every day... And what about this beautiful house, full of charm while remaining functional, we felt like home. One thing is for sure, you'll never want to leave this paradise again! We'll be back for sure. Thanks again to both of you and see you soon!

Luisella and Fermo were PERFECT hosts! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Guilia House. The house is so charming - it felt like such a privilege to stay there and experience the history and beauty of the home and village of Fiumelatte. We especially loved the garden area that Luisella is cultivating - the views in the evening are spectacular! The walk to Varenna is an easy one with amazing views of the lake, mountains, and villages along the shore. This rental is not for everyone, however. Folks with mobility issues or toddlers should be aware that the rooms are all on different floors and connected by a cement staircase in the center of the home. If this is not a concern, then you will be treated to an authentic 'old world' Italian experience. We adored Luisella and Fermo - what a kind and generous couple! We are SO grateful for their hospitality. They welcomed us as if we were family and we will cherish them as if they are ours.

Our stay at Mariapia's was wonderful, everything worked out perfectly. We felt very welcome and enjoyed the time in the perfectly furnished accommodation. The area is beautiful and we would love to come back. Thank you very much, dear Mariapia!

Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

I recommend this apartment loft! It has beautiful views of Lake Como from the small village of Perledo which is in the mountains above Varenna. The apartment was very clean and spacious for 2 people with lots of amenities. We used the spa and heated pool which was nice. Signing up for a time slot wasn’t a problem as there was lots of availability. I recommend renting a car to drive around unless you wait for the bus and ferry schedules. There isn’t anything within walking distance so have a means of transportation to get to Varenna (10 minutes down the mountain). We had the best time and Andrea was very helpful and informative. If we had any questions we got a quick response. 10/10 recommend!!

The host Andrea was really very nice and always helpful. He was quick to respond to messages. I can really only recommend it. Varenna is easily accessible by bus/shuttle bus. It was as described in the photos :)

Had a super good experience! Brand new apartment with fantastic views, delicious breakfast, good instructions and delicious bath with beautiful views. Super customer experience and the host goes that extra mile to make you feel at home and pamper you. If we had to mention a downside, it was the quality of the food ordered, this was a little less in quality. Keep it up!

Alessandra was absolutely amazing, not only while we were there, but leading up to our stay. It felt like we made a friend in Italy. She was friendly, communicative, and helpful! The airline lost our bags and she kept checking in to see if we had an update. She truly went above and beyond! The Airbnb was so clean and welcoming! Right across the street from Lake Como! Beautiful area! Would recommend to anyone!

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

Antonio and Christian were amazing hosts during our recent stay in Lake Como. Always responsive to messages and the apartment was perfect for a family of 6. Spotless and had everything you need to cook (Antonio even set up the BBQ for us one night!). It felt like a private pool with all the different areas to lie and enjoy the breathtaking views. Apartment is close walking distance into Gravedona for some nice meals out and bars too. They even let some of us check in early and left a bottle of Prosecco as we were celebrating a big birthday, lovely touches. Couldn’t recommend them more and will definitely be back if we get the chance.

Wonderful private and gorgeous retreat high up on the hillside. RENT A CAR. We did, but only last minute and initially had planned to uber to and from the Airbnb both for arrival and departure as well as just day trips; this would have been a mistake, it is 12-14 minutes up the hill from the town. If you have a rental car and are comfortable driving up steep roads, it is a fun adventure and the views make it well worth the trek. The space itself is second to none. Gorgeous pool with million dollar views, several levels of terraces with sun chairs, outdoor eating areas, and the home itself is inviting and comfortable.

Words can not describe how incredible this place was. The photos do not do the villa justice of how incredible the view was. Michela was a fantastic host who met us and showed up around the villa. It has more appliances than an electrical, and has everything you need. If you can make time to stay here I would highly recommend it. A true authentic Italian getaway at Lake Como. Wow, wow, wow!!

you have to deserve Melania's house because access is reserved for visitors who like to climb! Once in the house you feel at home and the view is spectacular

We felt very comfortable - it suited us very well, starting with the view of the lake and Piona Bay, from the balcony or when you turn around in the kitchen and look out... the birdsong, the scent of the jasmine hedges from the neighboring properties:) With bikes that we had with us and that we could store in the garage, we could also comfortably cycle to the center and eat there - although a restaurant around the corner, the Logasc, was also within walking distance. Balcony behind the house was great for the first coffee in the morning sun overlooking the mountains behind the house. I almost suspect we have to come back:) And communication with Tatiana was straightforward and purposeful. All in all, a good choice:)

We booked Ugo's home for one reason.... the view. It did not disappoint. We drank our morning coffees and ate our meals on the balcony. We actually went to a restaurant with an amazing view, but after we left, we stated we should have just cooked and ate outside the house since it is so private. Ugo provided coffee, which was highly appreciated! We bought the wrong coffee at store. The fruit platter was amazing and ate at every meal. Oh, I made orange juice and was delicious! We were given directions to free parking in bellagio. Plus, we got a flat tire and Ugo helped direct is where to repair it. Overall, go for the view amd don't leave the house! Unless you want to walk to town to get coffee, fresh meats, and gelato but go directly back!

Beautiful home and even better view of the lake and surround towns. Really what we wanted to get a relaxing yet fun experience. Would definitely come again and highly suggest for anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area.

From the moment we booked to the moment we finished our holiday Angela and Rodolfo were the warmest and kindest hosts. From offering to pick us up from the station and then drop us off at the end of the week, to the thoughtful gifts to welcome us to their beautiful apartment. The apartment was exactly as described and as the photos show. Everything we needed for a weeks break and spotlessly clean. The views from the balcony were breathtaking and made even more stunning by the gorgeous weather we were blessed with all week. We decided not to hire a car choosing instead to walk into Bellano each day and used the boats to ferry us across to a few of the other towns around Lake Como. This was a great way to see and experience Bellano and surrounding area but it was quite hilly though so a car, moped or bike would be recommended if you aren’t up for a 30 minute walk each way and a little bit of hill/stair climbing. Perfect Hosts ! Perfect Accommodation and Views! Perfect Holiday !

We really enjoyed the apartment and the beautiful garden. The apartment is excellently equipped – there is everything you need for cooking and for a relaxing stay. The large garden is designed with a lot of love and offers a fantastic view of Lake Como. There is even a barbecue area where you can barbecue wonderfully overlooking the lake. From the entire complex as well as from the windows, you have a fantastic view of the water. The center of Gravedona with its charming cafes and good restaurants is about 15 minutes walking distance. In just 5–10 minutes by car, there are several large supermarkets with a very good selection of groceries. Grazia always responded very quickly and kindly – a lovely, helpful and warm hostess! The next time we visit Lake Como, we will definitely come back – we fell in love with this place, the garden and the view. Clear recommendation!
