Villa vacation rentals in Vaxholm Municipality

Martin is a very nice and accommodating host who gave us a special welcome. The house is new and modernly equipped. It is located in the quiet neighborhood, the water is minutes away. You can also swim there. Vaxholm is a 20-minute drive, from there you can take the boat to the archipelago and to Stockholm. We felt very comfortable.

Lovely house! Lovely garden! Quiet area where it is easy to get to bus and shopping. Everything was as it appeared in the photos, and communication with Patrik can't be put a finger on it. If we go to Stockholm again, we could easily book Patrick's house again.

The whole family is super happy with our stay at Liza's place! The real impression of the house and the location is better than the pictures. We have bathed, cooked pizza in the pizza oven, enjoyed the wooden deck and the children had full equipment for play, in both garden and inside. Many thoughtful touches were arranged for us when we arrived. We are happy to go back.

A perfect holiday experience. Cecilia and Niklas were great hosts, super friendly and responsive! The house is very large, decorated with taste and equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. A plus is the sports equipment and the two bikes at our disposal. The location is calm, in the middle of nature yet easy to reach by public transport. The bus to Vaxholm and Stockholm runs very regularly and can be reached in a few minutes (Itterby stop), directly in front of the supermarket. The Itterby brygga dock is in about 20 minutes walking distance and allows you to take the boat to Stockholm or the archipelago. Just make sure that you put the orange semaphore, otherwise the boat does not stop. Overall an outstanding experience. Recommended wholeheartedly!

We stayed at Kalle’s place in 8 - 2 families with teenagers. The house was perfect, the kids enjoyed the pool and the SUP (as well as we did!). Great evenings on the terrace and at the fireplace, barbecues every night… Kalle is an excellent host, extremely helpful, full of resources and advice. He suggested a concert in the neighborhood, a swimming sauna and boat trip which we enjoyed a lot! We found ourselves part of a neighborhood of very welcoming people. Alternating visits of Stockholm and days by/on the water was ideal for our group and nearby Waxholm is a great starting point for exploring the arcipelago. We strongly recommend the place and were very sorry to leave!

We were there with big children and everyone loved the property, the island and the house. Everyone agrees, we want to come back.

Per’s place was delightful. From the tasteful decor, to the large yard, trampoline, Sonos speakers everywhere (including some very nice Bang and Olufsen towers), spacious rooms, well-stocked kitchen, easy-to-use steam room, comfortable beds, abundant kid toys to share, and safe, convenient location… our entire stay was wonderful! We would happily stay here again and appreciated staying in a home that was clearly lovingly curated by the family that lives here and graciously shared with summer guests. Thank you again!

I brought my staff of art teachers on a retreat to Stockholm from California, and had the pleasure of renting Katarina's beautiful house. The house is even more beautiful than the photos show. We were 7 women and had plenty of space to both come together to work and relax, but also to have our own space inside and outside. We happened to be there for a week when the weather was quite warm so we didn't get to utilize the sauna, which was a bummer, but can imagine how wonderful it would be. The house is about an hour from city center by ferry and quite easy to travel once you get the ferry schedule. Katarina was a wonderful host. She was very quick to respond to any of my questions leading up to our rental period as well as during. We didn't get a chance to meet in person due to our schedules, but she was an absolute pleasure to work with for our experience. I would absolutely stay here again in a heart beat if the opportunity were to arise. Thank you Katarina!

Our family really enjoyed staying at Linda's home. The space was perfect for our family, and it was very convenient for us. The home is lovely and we would definitely stay again.

Jessicas house is so amazing. It was comfortable, clean, enormous and so beautiful. Everything you would need was provided. I travelled from Australia with my family and it catered so well for 3 generations. My grandchildren loved the games cupboard and the millions of books. Everyone had space to sit and read or watch tv or chat. The island is beautiful and has easy access by ferry to Vaxholm and Stockholm. I would come back in a second. I highly recommend a stay at this amazing property.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor area was a real highlight, we loved the pool, it was perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood but still close enough to the center, with easy access via taxi or public transport. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We’ve had an amazing stay with friends and toddlers. The house was perfect for cooking and social evenings. We had bad weather which means we did not enjoy the pool as we hoped to, but luckily we enjoyed the sauna with breathtaking views. Mikael was responsive and always helpful when we had questions. We had an amazing stay at this luxurious house! The home beat all of our expectations with its high quality facilities. The house is very nice and well equipped with everything you can wish for, including a pool and a jacuzzi which we really enjoyed. The excellent barbecue was perfect for our evenings, and the proximity to nature created a soothing atmosphere. The swimming area which is only a two minute walk away was absolutely lovely and made our stay even better. The house was also very clean and well kept, and housekeeping was included which made everything even smoother. Our host, Linnea, greatly contributed to making our stay memorable. She was always available and incredibly flexible, which was greatly appreciated. We can highly recommend this accommodation.
