Loft vacation rentals in Vancouver Island

We had a lovely stay here after a cruise to Vancouver. We needed a hub to tour around the city for a few days before returning home! The apartment was perfect for us! Much like the Airbnb listing said the neighborhood does have quite an unhoused population. With that said, we never felt unsafe! Also the pub downstairs is very lively on Friday/Saturday night, so if that is going to bother you it won’t be a good fit! Again, that’s all laid out very well in the description! We loved the space, it was a lil oasis for us and the location was perfect because it was very walkable to everything we wanted to see! We would easily stay here again and was sad to go! Until next time!

This place was even better than the listing showed! It will be our rental of choice whenever we return to Eastsound.

We felt so lucky to stay at Barbra’s place in Tofino. The surroundings were beautiful and right on the beach. Just lovely! We hope to come back one day. Thank you Barbra for an amazing stay!

This was our first AirBnb stay ever and it did not disappoint! We only stay in Marriott Bonvoy hotels and this room reminded me of a Westin. The hotel hallways and pool area are a bit run down but the unit was renovated and beautiful! We were given lots of towels, pillows and kitchen supplies to last our 4 night stay. We stayed in May and the unit was warm but we kept the windows and patio door open and it stayed cool. I had a conference next door at the Fairmount so the location was perfect. Sebastian was very responsive before our stay and very detailed in all the information we needed. The info binder and games cupboard was a nice added touch!

The loft is beautiful, comfortable and clean. The pictures are very representative. Kristen was very nice and responsive and let us check in a little early. The neighborhood is on the border of a region that has a lot of homeless and drug addicts. It was okay for us b/c we're used to it but if you're not used to this sort of thing, and all the smells that come with it, it might not be for you.

Surf's Inn was a great find. So easy to travel to the town and so easy to travel to long Beach and Tofino. Perfect location. Completely peaceful. Sarah was great as were the rest of the staff. We were made to feel completely at home and we did . We would most definitely return. Such a lovely stay. Thank you for having us.

Alexander was a fantastic host, and the Gastown Penthouse was a perfect location for our stay. The penthouse was very spacious and well equipped, tastefully decorated and had an incredible view as the top floor of the building. We ended up dining at four fantastic restaurants that were within a two-minute walk (authentic Japanese, Ukranian, Italian and Mediterranean). In my opinion, located in the best part of Gastown. Yes, there are homeless in the area but we never felt threatened, and they generally are on the outskirts of the area. Enjoyed our stay!

As others have said, the location in the heart of Eastsound cannot be beat and the view is spectacular. I could have sat on the balcony all weekend and watched the water. The loft was extremely clean and cozy, perfect for two.

We had a lovely stay at Winnie’s loft . The space exceeded our expectations. Central location. The furnishings were very nice , lots of seating and very comfortable . The kitchen was well stocked and we even had a treat left for us . The beds, bedding and towels all good quality. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Ken was a very proactive, organized, and responsive and kind host. He made sure to give us all the information we needed well in advance on how to find our place, park, listed local recommendations, and helped mapped out areas around our area. The Airbnb was very clean (impressed with the water pressure of the shower and heated bathroom floors that was available), had all the amenities we needed during our multi night stay.

An artistic, urban loft that we LOVED! It is in a neutral location with the juxtaposition of a street on one side that was quite gritty and a street on the other side that was high end. There are many resources within a block or two. Some great food recommendations as well. I would want to live in this loft!

Jocelyn’s apartment is really unique and special. Jocelyn is a 5* host. My husband and I had a lovely three days there. It’s a huge space with very high ceilings and two roof terraces. We were really lucky that the weather was just perfect and so spent quite a lot of time on the terraces. There are plenty of nice places to eat around there and we found it easy to get around. We weren’t cooking during our stay but it looked as though the kitchen was very well equipped (this is not always the case with Airbnbs in our experience). Everything worked well and the bed was very comfortable. We’d love to come back one day. Thanks Jocelyn!

Excellent location. Fabulous loft with lots of supplies left. Would highly recommend a stay at Blake’s Loft, it was fabulous & Blake was an excellent host. Responded within minutes to any query we had. Would highly recommend a stay here

Mary was a gracious and communicative host. The instructions for the place were very precise, and the location was very central to all the main bars and restaurants. I would definitely recommend to anybody looking for a fun time in a very convenient location.

We've stayed in close to 20 AirBnBs and this apartment's mattress, hands down, is the best we've ever slept on. Please give us the brand so we can buy one for home! The apartment was spacious, with a big bathroom including (another bonus) a bathtub. The galley kitchen had everything you could want. Big TV. Lots of light. Great courtyard. Easy access to the rest of the city and some nice restaurants nearby. Responsive, helpful hosts. All in all, a great place to stay when you're in Vancouver.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jeevs’s. The place is EXACTLY as described, down to the local recommendations and precautions. The unit is spacious and airy, a perfect spot to come back to after a day of exploring the city. More than enough space for 2 people who may need to work or just relax and do their own things. We did not cook but the kitchen was well equipped with everything you may need. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance and Jeevs’s recommendations were spot on and fabulous. It is true about the warnings in the listing about the homelessness closeby but we never encountered any issues at all. Never felt unsafe once and was never bothered by any noise in the evenings. A true 5-star experience and we would definitely stay here again! Thank you Jeevs!
